  1. That's true. Here's what Diggs said about his future with the Bills in 2022. "I felt like my next spot was my last spot," Diggs said to the media after signing his extension. "I wanted it to be my home, and I didn't want to ever go anywhere. It was important to me especially in my first year and second year, you just kind of felt like you were building family." Here's what Diggs said about his future with the Bills in 2024. " I don't know, I feel like, as far as all of that with the money and all that type of stuff, I can't control none of that. I kind of put my hat on. It's a long offseason, and as far as what the future holds, I don't have any surprises for you right now." Do these comments seem different to you? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? BONUS INFO: Here's Diggs in Minnesota: "But things soured between Diggs and Minnesota in the two years following, despite the receiver enjoying career-high production. Diggs was fined in October for missing Vikings meetings and practices, which preceded and inspired trade rumors that subsided but never really went away." Wow, Diggs skipping meetings and missing practices? That seems......kind of familiar. Diggs negative comments in Minnesota circa 2019: "I can't sit up here and say everything is okay, it's obviously not. What I can say at this point is just try to work through it." Of course, Minnesota fans were twisting themselves into KNOTS that all was well with Diggs at that time. He's just a fiery guy! And then, of course, Diggs backtracked: #Vikings WR Stefon Diggs on his comments last week: "I never said I was unhappy or uncomfortable with my role. I said I wanted to win, that was what my frustrations were and that's where it kind of got misconstrued last week.'' Well, at least we know he later cleared the air and definitely wasn't traded in the offseason...... Here's the story of Diggs in TC this season: “Diggs’ frustration is with his role in the offense and his voice in play-calling, per a league source close to the Bills’ locker room,” Volin wrote. “He was visibly agitated at Allen during the 27-10 playoff loss to the Bengals, stormed out of the locker room almost immediately after the game, and didn’t attend any voluntary workouts this offseason.” Hmmmmm, kind of sounds familiar as well.
  2. This tired argument would hold more weight if Diggs wasn’t effusive with his praise before. The guy went from “I want to retire a Bill,” to “I don’t know what the future holds.” Guess what? He couldn’t control if he was gonna retire a Bill last year. He still said it.
  3. Who says that? Honestly? Here’s Mike Evans, an actual pending free agent WR: "I've been on record saying how much I love this place and how much I want to be here," Evans said on Sunday. Wow. Why doesn’t he say, “I don’t know what the future holds?” Why doesn’t he say, “that’s not up to me, it’s up to the Bucs, I just go to work.” instead, Evans says: “I would love to be back, I love Tampa Bay,” he said. “Been here my whole career. The city has been great to me, the franchise has been unbelievable to me and my family. I love this place. So, we’ll see.” It’s so craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy that Diggs’ comments are a story. Lol
  4. Don’t take it out on me cause James Hardy sucked
  5. Never take a Jalen Reagor over a Justin Jefferson.
  6. I agree but Eric Bienemy would kill for both of those jobs. And turning around a bad team is the instant COTY material.
  7. That’s why what Ben Johnson is doing is super risky imo.
  8. Nothing was funnier than them riding the "Ken Dorsey is a great OC, look at the EPA/play" train for WEEKS, then he got fired and they started getting hypercritical of his gameplans and everything else in retrospect. They are exactly what you think they are. A bunch of Bills fans who have a greater understanding of the game than most casual fans, making content for Bills fans who also have a decent understanding of the game. Anything they say should be taken with as much of a grain of salt as the random posters who think Gabe Davis is FINALLY gonna have his breakout year, or that Brandon Beane is the BEST GM in football.
  9. You’re forgetting a lot of players. Torrence started every game. Tre started every game as a rookie. Singletary started every game as a rookie. Rousseau played a ton as a rookie. Hell, even Cody Ford played a ton. Really Kincaid kinda faded down the stretch so he probably did need to work his way in a bit. And Cook couldn’t pass pro at all last year, and still wasn’t great at it which limited his opportunities. Plus we fired the OC who was keeping Shakir on the bench. Idk, I think if the Bills draft a WR in the first, they will play a really heavy role, unless they are awful.
  10. Zero excuse to have that much family money and be so stupid.
  11. Was it a good move to give him to a team with an established franchise QB to sit behind and a bunch of underpaid future hall of famers in our conference then?
  12. It's true, at least per spotrac. A post 6/1 release or trade would save the Bills $19M in 2024, but would incur a 2025 dead cap number of 22M. If Diggs is on the team in 2025, his cap hit would be 27M. It's basically like a restructure, kicking the can down the road, and paying later. except with only minimal long-term savings and another hole at boundary WR.
  13. Gabe Davis, a fourth round draft pick, had 10 games of over 60% of offensive snaps as a rookie. 12 games if you go down to 59% of snaps. Put another way, as a rookie, he had 1 game where he played less than 40% of offensive snaps. So where does this criticism come from?
  14. “This offense doesn’t look good enough to win a Super Bowl” Allen - “okay” Diggs - “well, I’m trying out there. I know my production is down, but it’s not because of me. I don’t know what the future holds, ima keep doing me, and whatever happens, happens.” Bills fans - “why are Diggs comments a story???? It’s such a MYSTERY!!!!!”
  15. Henry + Allen in redzone situations is as close to an unstoppable combo as it gets in the NFL, imo.
  16. Imo, saying if they won the Super Bowl, it was a good tactic is a very simplistic and again, imo, wrong way to evaluate personnel decisions. The Chiefs drafted CEH in the first and went to two SB’s and won one, potentially two, while he was on the team. Does that make drafting him the right decision? I don’t think so. Bingo. The debate shouldn’t be “do we win 3 Superbowls and go to 6 AFCCG games with Mahomes instead of Allen?” The debate is “if Sean McDermott doesn’t make the trade to give the Chiefs Mahomes, and he either selects him or still takes Allen the next year, are the Bills more successful than we have been currently?” The answer is overwhelmingly, yes.
  17. You are correct about one thing. Diggs has always been a borderline malcontent to the media his whole career. It’s a very popular trait for some, and a very unpopular trait for a lot more.
  18. Aren’t Saquon, Josh Jacobs, and Austin Ekeler all expected to be available as FA’s?
  19. Does the last paragraph really matter? I mean I guess it would be better than nothing if we needed the Mahomes picks to get Allen and get the second best QB in football, but it’s all for naught if we don’t break through and Mahomes wins the AFC every year regardless. That’s all well and good, but we GAVE Mahomes the perfect situation to stand in our way for 4 years and counting. Even if we didn’t draft Mahomes, if we don’t make that trade, maybe he goes to the Bill O’Brien Texans, or the Colts, or the NFC or literally any other team without HoF weapons and coaching. The one person who could’ve stopped Mahomes from landing in the perfect situation to dominate us in the postseason was Sean McD. This is basically our curse of the Bambino.
  20. Perform in January would be better tbh
  21. It was the same way in Minnesota near the end. Diggs has mastered toeing the line of being a full blown media circus without actually saying enough to get all the way there. He knows to say just enough to raise antennaes, but not enough to clearly be in the wrong or have folks around the league think he’s a locker room cancer. Hope we right that ship or hope he’s gone in 25.
  22. And sign Derrick Henry!
  23. I'm very interested in seeing how the FA WR market is with such a deep WR draft incoming. A WR starved team may make a big splash and plan to get one in the draft like the Panthers, but I think someone like Darnell Mooney may be left out in the cold asking for much more than 8-9M AAV.
  24. I’m not sure he will be looking for that much loot personally. I’m not arguing for this move, I’m just saying I think it might happen.
