  1. He was 8th in total TD's while being tied for 26th in total INT's. There's 3.
  2. Jared Goff's stats in 2022 were pretty good. Your point was that he didn't receive MVP votes, and he shouldn't have. Because his team won 9 games and missed the playoffs.
  3. I don't think that's a 1-1 comparison. Missing a whole game, which is anywhere from 60-70 snaps, is not the same as missing 8-10 snaps in 3 or even 4 games as an aggregate.
  4. I think that team missed the playoffs. They weren't the one seed. And Lamar didn't win the MVP in 2022. He won it in 23. Do I admit that Lamar Jackson's stats were not the Star Wars numbers variety we typically see with MVP's? Sure. But since 2009, only 3 MVP's were not the one seed in the conference. AP on the Vikings. Matt Ryan on the Falcons. And Peyton Manning on the Colts. It's the way the award typically goes. You can rail about it all you want.
  5. Only 4 QB's who played 15 games or more had a passer rating over 100. There's nothing average about that.
  6. Meh, the more games they had to rely on Lamar, his counting stats probably go up.
  7. I think Lamar had a pretty great year. He had a passer rating over 100, 29 TD's to 7 INT's when he was sitting or barely playing in blowouts. He was 15th in passing yards (again while sitting in blowouts and missing week 17. He was 22nd in rushing yards. And his team was the one seed.
  8. They were the one seed.
  9. The way to win the MVP: Be the one seed Have great stats Have a great offense That's it.
  10. Yeah, I think him to be incredibly annoying at this point and I don't think he should be cut because of his media comments. This act is just old.
  11. I find the commitment to defending the honor of a player who has made a career of being, at the very least, annoying in his sound bites quite bizarre.
  12. I haven’t watched a ton of him, but he seems like a physical freak athlete. I could see him testing well at the combine and his stock rising as a chess piece for some team. I wonder if McD and co are going to shy away from the physical freaks with poor technique after Elam.
  13. Josh Allen steals red zone TD's. D'Andre Swift also doesn't score a lot of TD's and there's a very clear reason for that.
  14. Well said. To be fair to Steph, lots of WR's are filled with drama. AJ Brown is another dude that is quickly building a rep of being a headache.
  15. Does this increase or decrease the chances James Williams is a Bill next year?
  16. You didn’t read any of my posts. I said, in this thread, I think Diggs will be gone in 2025. I said, in this thread, that Diggs is technically movable post 6/1 in 2024. Feel to just respond to Einstein lol. Leave me out of this psychosis The person I’m responding to is arguing that Diggs creates media controversies on purpose.
  17. I'm really confused. That Diggs quote you have "So when you draw conclusions as to stuff I've never said, that's what kind of troubles me because it kind of throws a wrench in it. It creates chaos where I haven't created chaos." But you say he does do that on purpose?
  18. Cop out? I never said I thought Diggs was gonna be gone this season. I said it was possible as a post 6/1 move, because it is. Are you even reading my posts? If you wanna talk L's, are you still mad about CJ Spiller not reaching his magical 2k season? Or wanting Daboll gone?
  19. So I guess I'm misunderstanding. You don't think these comments out of Diggs are intentionally controversial, because you don't think they are controversial at all? I guess the media disagrees because they all keep writing about it. I don't know the Diggs camp intimately. Like you said, he has history but you're misremembering. Diggs did NOT make enigmatic comments between 2020 and 2022. There's nothing there. Something changed in 2022. And there's his entire enigmatic press clippings prior to 2020 from his former team, where he eventually ended up traded, which he later admitted he wanted. "The circumstances of Diggs' departure from the Vikings have been covered before. He wasn't happy with an increasingly run-focused offense. Relationships became frayed. Eventually, his actions (missing practice) and words (social media musings) gave way to the trade." https://www.startribune.com/stefon-diggs-cover-story-sheds-light-on-vikings-departure/600002569/ So what we have here is a WR with a history of toeing the line of less than perfect behavior on social media and media in general to get moved from a place where he's unhappy. Which is why ALL of the stuff over the last two years has BEEN a story. I don't know if Diggs wants out or not. I do know he has ran a similar playbook to get out of Minnesota. I do know this song and dance with the media has gotten extremely old. That's my take.
  20. You didn't post a single thing of substance to refute any of it lol. Talk about "wreaking" of desperation. I'm pretty confident Diggs will be gone in 25. Maybe earlier. Feel free to bookmark this post. BTW, McD absolutely did want to run the football more, which Brady did, and why he got hired. Score one more for the good guys.
  21. You're just assuming that he doesn't "mean" his controversial statements, right? That's your shade of gray. He's saying controversial things, things that will get media headlines, speculation, etc etc, he just doesn't mean them? That's fine to have that take. It's not fine to have that take, and also say "he's not saying anything controversial." So if you agree that he's saying controversial things on purpose, which it sounds like you do, you seem pretty confident he means nothing by it or that he's just "trolling." I'm not sure where you have gotten that level of confidence. Because on Diggs' last team, he said a lot of controversial things, and was eventually traded. Maybe you know Diggs or his camp intimately?
  22. It so quickly goes from "Diggs didn't say anything bad, why is the media talking about this" to "Diggs said bad things on purpose to get the media talking about this." My head is spinning. Nobody, but that's not the point?
  23. So then, after all of that, you admit that Diggs is being cryptic and getting headlines, so it is worth a story? That's very funny.
  24. I wasn't drawing a parallel between those two quotes. I was demonstrating what happened in Minnesota that Bills fans' have somehow memory-holed like Diggs didn't have his own media circus ending with his departure.
  25. I didn't draw that parallel. But since you asked, here are Diggs' frustrated comments after losing last year. "Want me to be okay with losing ? Nah," Diggs tweeted. "Want me to be okay with our level of play when it's not up to the standard ? Nah." In a third tweet, Diggs said, "It's easy to criticize my reaction more than the result." That does sound a lot like his frustrated quotes from Minnesota.
