  1. We also have the far better QB than Dallas does. Dak is good, but he isn’t Josh Allen. If we switch Josh and Dak the last 4 seasons, does Dallas look more like Buffalo and Buffalo more like Dallas? I think so. This topic solely exists as revisionist history to kick Dallas when they are down and to rewrite that they haven’t been one of the best teams in the NFC the last 3 years.
  2. I find the obsession with the Cowboys very odd. They won 12 games the last 3 seasons. 2 division titles in that span. They had a little bit of talent erosion, as all teams do, had a down year and their QB got hurt. trying to pain their last 4 years as some kind of systemic failure of Jerry Jones is really just entirely inaccurate.
  3. Again, without his top 2 WR’s Josh had one of his worst statistical games of the season. this game proved how valuable Coleman and Cooper are
  4. We watched a bunch of bums over the years make that play. “Robert Foster stepping up” when Josh makes the entire play lol
  5. 0, 0 and 0 hopefully.
  6. Very fun to watch people slowly realize in real time that “low risk” is the basically the reason the position exists.
  7. Would Mack Hollins be getting significant playing time if we acquired Darius Slayton AND Cooper/Coleman were healthy? More importantly, should he be?
  8. And we are back to what I originally said. By design or not, he doesn’t produce in the passing game because he can’t. If we threw him the ball 10 times, like we did vs Houston, he would stink. There’s other guys of his similar level on lots of teams. None of them play more than Mack and underproduce him.
  9. I mean, the only game where Josh HAD to throw to Mack, Josh had one of the worst games of his career and Amari was a Bill a week later. this circular logic is bizarre. You don’t understand Mack’s role in the offense is 100% based on his ability in this offense. If Mack was a better WR, would he have better production playing #2 WR snaps? Of course he would. But he’s out there blocking and not touching the football BECAUSE HE SUCKS AT IT. You think it’s a coincidence that Mack makes minimal impact on the stat sheet. It’s just “because of his role.” His role is what it is because it’s ALL THAT HE CAN DO. It’s Reggie Gilliam getting 60% plus of snaps.
  10. Lmao this “victory lap” is gonna feel so sour when Mack is alligator arming passes in the AFCCG, and of course you’ll cry when I bring it up about how I hate the Bills or some other nonsense.
  11. Remember when Lou Amarumo was an elite DC because he beat Mahomes once and Josh Allen once lol
  12. The more I watch the more I realize I hate both these teams. Can they both lose?
  13. Josh Allen also thought Ken Dorsey was the best man for the OC job
  14. His role is playing blocker on run downs, core STer, and being functionally one of the worst WR’s in the NFL when it comes to snaps and production in the passing game. I understand his role very well. I understand niche value. What I dispute is HOW valuable is niche value. What I do know is that I argued, hard, that Gabe Davis wasn’t good enough to be the clear cut #2 on this roster. Despite his value add as a blocker and 10x the receiver Hollins is. I was right. What I do know is that I argued, hard, that the boundary WR’s were a disaster this offseason. I argued that Mack Hollins would start on the boundary and not be good enough, despite his value add as a blocker. Of course, I was right, the GM agreed by like week 5 and made one of the more expensive trades midseason to supplant him. So no. I totally get he’s a nice blocker and STer and you can argue has earned a role on this roster. What you can’t argue is that he deserves the second most snaps at WR this season. We know he doesn’t, the GM has already told us so.
  15. There’s damning with faint praise then there’s, “he’s better than literal garbage vet minimum Trent Sherfield” lol Mack is currently 181st in the NFL in yards. Feels about right where he is as a player.
  16. You know who used to argue that Mack Hollins was good enough all offseason, only to watch their GM trade a third round pick as soon as he could to get him back to the bench ASAP? Arguing that Mack is good enough to deserve 65% of offensive snaps is arguing with the GM who certainly didn’t trade for Amari Cooper to keep Mack’s “vibes” on the field. He watched Mack’s highest target game be one of the worst games of Josh’s career. Just a big coincidence lol. He’s a great blocker and good on ST. That’s how he carved out an NFL career as a WR that can’t do anything else well as a WR. Marcus Easley with better PR.
  17. Wow, 2 first downs in a game? 10 on the year? These are not good numbers for a guy who is the #2 WR in snaps. 1 first down every 35 snaps is roughly 2 first downs a game lol. Gabe Davis clears those numbers and he's having the worst year of his career in Jacksonville.
  18. We've already seen it. Josh went 9/30 missing just Shakir. Now he's missing Coleman and Cooper. Mack has outsnapped his last year in Atlanta already. And still has less than half the yards he did last. "Capable of beating his man and making plays down field" is pissing on my head and telling me it's raining. The. guy. sucks. You want him WR6/ST? Sure fine. He's WR2 in snaps. He's not good enough for that. He's putting up Lee Smith blocking TE numbers because he's just about as good of a receiver lmao.
  19. Can't wait to see the "plus" player playing 90% of snaps on the boundary this week. Maybe Josh will break a record of throws that travel less than 1 yard in the air this go round.
  20. 100% Ravens I will fear Lamar in the playoffs when he doesn't inexplicably become terrible. I will always fear Burrow/Chase/Higgins to potentially light up the opposition.
  21. He has played 350 snaps and has 111 yards and a paltry 4.2 YPT. I’m pretty confident that may be the worst yardage total by any WR in the NFL with > 350 snaps. So sure. He’s a good blocker. He may be the most useless actual receiver in the NFL.
  22. Great topic. We have all watched a bad franchise stay bad in a division for 20 years. The secret? Make sure your rivals don't find the guy at QB. When Brady was the class of the AFCE, he had to face a laundry list of BUMS at QB in Buffalo. Tyrod, Fitz, Losman, Edwards, EJ, Tuel, Thad Lewis etc etc etc. The biggest reason our star started rising because we found Josh Allen. From a law of averages, every year the other 3 teams don't take a QB, our chances of owning the division gets higher. I don't know who the Jets will find, but they have wasted 2 years on Rodgers. Every year they don't take a QB is good for us. The Dolphins are locked into Tua and have been. When it comes to challenging the Bills for the AFCE, they would have been better off with him being a total bust. Drake Maye is the biggest threat imo. If he ends up sucking, maybe Mayo starts another garbage Tyrod/Fitz QB for a year or two before he drafts another one. That would be excellent.
  23. The only person that will dictate if Rasul gets another contract is Benford’s availability, imo.
  24. This is probably my least favorite take of all takes. 100% yes. Imo there is no way we don’t go CB high. @GunnerBill is correct. Unless something catastrophic happens, Douglas will walk, they will bring in a solid FA and draft a guy high. Elam will up odd man out, his option will be declined and will be cut or moved after TC.
