    The player fumble the ball backwards out of bounds. Unfortunately the broadcast didn’t show it. If you watch replay watch where ball was marked.

    A lot depends on cap and Morse situation. There are reports the cap situation may not be as dire and it may allow them to sign all 3.

    And who pulled a gun on Lyle Alzado so he gets points for that. He was my favorite along with Jerry Butler. I still remember Lawrence McCutcheon needlessly taking out James knee after an interception in a meaningless exhibition game.

    You guys are so young. Jack Kemp and Cookie weren’t bad free agent pickups. Biscuit was best trade but Leonard Smith is a little underrated. Like someone said, Bobby Moore a/k/a Ahmad Rashad was a tremendous trade but was ruined by letting him go so soon over about $25K. Robert James probably best UDFA.

    Players routinely think they made a play when replay proves they didn’t. You can’t let them influence you.

    I agree but the most athletic play may have been Terrence McGee’s kick off return against the Saints.

    Exactly. Doesn’t anyone remember the Mahommes throw last year when he tried to look one way and throw the other and miss a wide open Kielce ?

    For what it’s worth, the heckling started and continued because he was the first player to not join his teammates for the national anthem. He either sat or turned his back to the flag, I can’t remember which. i was walking on the 400 at the time because traffic wasn’t moving. Got there at halftime.

    If you went with best players ever it would be Billy Shaw Tom Sestak Bruce Smith OJ but you have to include Jim Kelly as probably most important. i would go Kelly Sestak Smith OJ

    Someone already answered the award specific to Tom Dempsey but there also was some kind of national sports award dinner show in Buffalo back then. They always covered it on channel 17. I’m pretty sure Dunlop sponsored it and they always gave a pro and amateur award out.
