Will Christian Wade make the Bills' final 53 in 2021?

Zach Ertz about to be traded? [Edit: or Not]
Mcdermott replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They do, and were under. They did not need to move Ertz to get under. There doesn’t seem to be a site that tracks NFL numbers on real time. In hockey, there are multiple sites that do. I have yet to find one for football and it may have to do with how easy it is to maneuver around the cap. -
Zach Ertz about to be traded? [Edit: or Not]

Reuben Gant had 1054 yards and 7 Td’s over two seasons in a run heavy era, just to add to the debate. And, I forgot, a 14 game season. -

The presser is just to discuss free agency so far, however, he can’t do presser while completing trade. -

If I’m Beane, I’m dropping my offer a round or two. Why bid against yourself? -
If you read the fine print, Spotrac tells you to subtract 660K times the number of picks from the $6M pool because of 51 roster displacement so the correct number is around $2.2M.

He couldn’t last year and I was told it had nothing to do with COVID, something to do with his sickle cell condition
-
I was under the impression that he couldn’t play in Denver because of his health condition, could be an issue in that division.

KC 3 top players taking pay cut
Mcdermott replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are not taking pay cuts. They are restructuring contracts to convert bonuses to salary. All three contracts were specifically written to do just that. In fact, Mahommes contract could be restructured every year for the next seven years. -
Taysom Hill gets $140 million over 4 years
Mcdermott replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like I said a few times, teams know that this cap decrease is one, maybe two year blip. Teams expect the cap to go up, way up in the coming years. $250 million is a number that has been thrown out. Teams are just getting creative and pushing cap hits down the road. -
What’s your earliest memory of the Buffalo Bills?
Mcdermott replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure what happened first but these three were early; 1) OJ tearing up his knee on a kick return at the Rockpile after Bill Enyart missed a block 2) Preston Riddlehuber’s half back option pass 3) Greg Jones returning an onside kick fir a TD against the Patriots -

The more offensive lineman and cornerbacks on the market, the better. -
The Compensatory Pick System Is BROKEN.
Mcdermott replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not sure where you got the idea that that was the intent of the compensatory pick system but its working exactly as it was intended. -
Apparently I was a little off. Some expect the cap to raise to $250M within five years.
-
Ticket revenues have slowly become less relevant to the financial landscape of NFL teams.
-
Because this isn’t about Dak’s contract, it’s about how the cap drop is a one year blip.
-
The key to Dak’s deal is the term, he realizes that in 4 years $40M per year will be paltry. This “one year” cap drop is hysterical. Teams are going to use it to get rid of guys and sign others for less. The cap will be $220 next year and will keep skyrocketing with TV contracts doubling and the revenue they are going to see from all the new “crypto” sources.

Jerry Hughes restructuring? Rumor...
