  1. But you aren't making a point at all. You're making up a scenario where maybe you're right, but that's not really grounded in anything.
  2. Why are you living in a world of hypotheticals? "Play against KC like that!" I'll gladly let KC rush the ball instead of having Mahomes throw.
  3. He can do it all.
  4. By god, is that Christian Wade's intro music!?
  5. I think he actively dislikes the city, he's begrudgingly says nice things about Allen because he has to now. His PFF company was so wrong on Allen that it's embarrassing for him.
  6. I feel like the announcing has warped a whole lot of fans perception of this game. The Packers decision to commit to a running game down 17 points is laughable, but Collinsworth was praising it like it was a stroke of genius. I seriously wonder how the "but mah run defense" narrative would be shaking out if the announcers were being honest about Green Bay's losing strategy. Maybe this is an aside, but Collinsworth was so terribly bias last night it made me wanna puke.
  7. The OPI was blatant. You can swim move off of a DB, you can't shove him to the ground. The Missed FG would still have required recovering an onside kick, and then driving down the field and scoring with no TOs with something like 45 seconds on the clock. If you were biting your nails you might have anxiety issues.
  8. When you're doing "what worked" and that was running the ball for 8 minutes down by 17 to have a turnover on downs then guess what? It wasn't working.
  9. I'm not sure what Wilson has been doing qualifies as passing the ball though.
  10. I heard some of the players sometimes trade snacks at lunch.
  11. I can't think of a single team that was "a safety away" from being super bowl caliber. As electric as Poyer/Hyde have been, it's not important enough of a position to rate.
  12. Guess the season is over. Pack it up boys.
  13. 2nd half didn't pass the eye test but it doesn't really matter. QBs have off games.
  14. I don't know why they would trade him within the AFC if they were gonna move him.
  15. Or with more valuable playing experience our young safeties will improve. Or we'll trade for one. I don't know. We've already played and beaten the best the AFC has to offer pretty much.
  16. It never, ever works when you're already down 17 points.
  17. Great effort but the ball tip pretty clearly hits the turf before Milano gains control.
  18. If you think the Bills' run defense was a problem last night, then you've been drinking too much of the Collinsworth Kool Aid. That was not a winning formula for the Packers and they proved it. You want to take 7-8 minutes to run down the field and then not convert on a 4th, or end up kicking a FG? Go right ahead. It was a joke of a strategy and should be treated as such.
  19. The problem (if you really want to see it that way) with being the best team in the NFL is that everyone is going to make you pay a premium for what they got. I'm not sure Beane is willing to buy high, even in a window like this. Whether or not he should is probably debatable. If the Bills could have landed Von Miller in a trade last year I have a feeling we might be the reigning super bowl champs instead of LA. I definitely wouldn't mind the acquisition of another skill player either. Or go sign OBJ if he's healthy enough to play. Low risk, huge reward.
  20. During his tenure the Bills did not have the culture or support staff for young players that they do now. The coaching staff was not as detail oriented about player development, recovery, and physical load management. They may have reached out, but they weren't as buttoned up as they are now with player development. I don't want to make it sound like his career trajectory was the sole fault of the Bills either, ultimately it was up to him.
  21. A lot of hate here for a guy who clearly didn't have it all put together during his time in Buffalo and the Bills failed to get him the support network he needed. Maybe it wouldn't have mattered but I'm not gonna hate on a guy for liking Buffalo. Wish it worked out better but it is what it is.
  22. I'd argue that the Bills already have better depth at O-Line than the majority of the league, just not the top end talent, but that's really besides the point that I already made. Teams don't trade O-Lineman midseason, so your idea of "well just get an O-Lineman" is a non-starter. The guys on the street aren't better than what we already have at O-Line depth. If they were, teams wouldn't be picking JAGs like Luke Tenuta off the practice squad.
  23. Find one who is on the trading block who would be an upgrade from what we have. Hint: It doesn't exist. You might as well say you want them to sign a unicorn.
  24. I love the idea of a 2 year deal that's heavy on the incentives. Be great if that was true.
  25. I think Gibson would be a good fit as well.
