  1. "Judge Robinson directs Deshaun Watson to limit massage therapy to club-directed sessions and club-approved therapists "for the duration of his career." If I were a Browns team massage therapist I'd really be disgusted by this statement. Way to throw someone to the wolves, so to speak.
  2. It's a joke. At best, Watson is a creepy sex pervert who is really pushing the boundaries of acceptable sexual contact. At worst he's a rapist and serial sexual abuser. This whole thing is just gross and a joke in terms of actual justice.
  3. That or they're trying new routes, throwing into tighter windows, etc... Lots of reasons for drops other than "oh he's regressing".
  4. Place all the starters in scifi style cryo-chambers until the season starts, please.
  5. Hopefully he's having a smooth recovery. He's a tank of a human being with so much potential to be an excellent RT.
  6. I don't know how anyone who has watched the Bills can say Hodgins is going to make the roster. That is crazy talk to me. "Best ability is availability" well Hodgins has been injured for basically two entire seasons and no real game experience. I would bet my house that Hodgins is signed back to the practice squad at best.
  7. I know the punt god has a meme-worthy leg, but Bass coming into the draft was praised for his leg strength. Weren't there videos of Bass kicking a 50 yarder with no run up?
  8. Tyler Dunne, for as good as he is/was, seems to still have a chip on his shoulder about losing access to the Bills after Whaley was ousted. He never fails to be *just* negative enough.
  9. I don't think you sign McKenzie to a 2 year deal if you're unsure about his role. I think Crowder, if anyone, is going to be the odd man out of the 3. I don't think he's getting cut though. Shakir doesn't make it through waivers so he stays on the 53. I think Stevenson has as good of a chance to make the roster as Hodgins does, which is to say next to zero. Forgot to mention Tavon Austin, I think it's unlikely he makes the time unless they are really not confident in the return options.
  10. If the Raiders weren't such a dumpster fire of an organization I think he'd get more respect. He's not flashy but he's constantly putting up numbers despite a bad situation around him.
  11. I don't think Darnold has a shot at all, honestly. He seems like a nice enough guy but it feels like there's enough evidence out there to show that he doesn't have what it takes to be a starter in NFL. He has a career ahead of him as a decent to top tier backup though. Mayfield would have to majorly screw up to lose that job. He's not a world beater but he's definitely a top 15-20 QB, I think I'd probably put him at 16-18.
  12. They publish all their episodes as podcasts. You should be able to find it there. Also, they are 100% right. If you are a grown adult asking another adult for an autograph then you need to grow a little thicker skin when you get ignored for the kids.
  13. 1. Mahomes 2. Allen 3. Rodgers 4. Brady 5. Herbert 6. Burrow 7. Jackson 8. Stafford 9. Wilson 10. Carr 11. Watson (yuck) 12. Prescott 13. Murray I can easily count 12 guys I'd rather have over Murray. Yeah maybe he goes up a bit if we're building a franchise from the ground up purely because of age, but you have to be nuts to think he's a top 5 talent. I even think top 10 is a stretch.
  14. I don't use twitter but that's gotta be a joke account right?
  15. I bet Shakir is gonna be the guy everyone's clamoring for more field time this season. I just don't know see where the slot reps are coming from with Crowder and likely McKenzie ahead of him.
  16. Maybe he misses the glory days when EJ Manuel would include the media guys in the practice by throwing the ball to them instead of keeping it all in bounds.
  17. You can go to any gas station past 10:30 PM and see someone who looks exactly like this.
  18. If he took a deal similar to what Milano took + a larger signing bonus I'd be all over keeping Edmunds. He's a very unique LB in the NFL in terms of usage and measurables. I don't know that he'd be easy to replace but I also don't think he commands a monster salary.
  19. Rosen is the walmart brand "Great value" Fitzpatrick at this point.
  20. Some of this could just be more focused preparation and practice for higher quality opponents. Coaches will never admit it but there's no way they're putting in equal levels of prep for the bottom tier teams on the schedule (I know, I know, any given Sunday...).
  21. Yeah, I understand the argument. The Cardinals were kind of stuck and had to make this decision. So much of what I saw from Murray last season was just chucking it up and letting Hopkins be Hopkins. It's gonna be interesting to see him without Hopkins and Kirk.
  22. Paying a fringe top 12 QB the #2 salary. Bold strategy.
  23. I would rather have no QB than Peterman under center. Not being hyperbolic, I think no QB would give you a better chance to win.
  24. Pretty undeniable that Gardner was the most complete CB coming out of the draft. I know Stingley went ahead of him but I still think Sauce is the overall best talent. Elam has the best environment to land in though. You can't ask for a better spot to develop and play meaningful snaps than Buffalo.
  25. In terms of pure football IQ I think it's a great move. Brady has literally seen everything the NFL has to offer and should be able to offer a lot of insight that some of the second rate players who go into the talking head field just can't provide. If I'm a Bucs fan though I gotta feel like I kind of hate this news. It just shows that Brady isn't laser focused on "the now" with plans for the future, possibly trying to be a part owner of the Dolphins, this new talking head position, etc... It's all about Brady now, not about Brady and the Bucs.
