  1. And the defense was the reason the season came to an end. Saying that the depth players aren't as good as their playmakers isn't really saying anything at all. That's the case around the league.
  2. We had one of the best offenses in the league and didn't lose anyone besides Cole, who was on his way out anyways. We invested with two rookies that seem to be solid pickups, and a savvy vet WR in Crowder in case McKenzie isn't up to snuff. I'm really not worried.
  3. Remember that one time he stood up like it was gonna be a fake and literally nobody else knew wtf he was doing? Bojo was bad. He's still probably bad.
  4. Imagine if this forum was hopping during the OJ car chase.
  5. I'm all for cutting him. It's probably the right thing to do considering the circumstances. I feel like there should be some kind of "administrative leave" for players going through ***** like this. Suspend pay, no playing, roster spot doesn't count until investigation is complete.
  6. I don't know what's true or not, but I can say that I won't feel bad for Araiza if he's cut ASAP. If there's even a chance he did what he's being accused of, then I hope charges are brought forward.
  7. Tre's got a family. Stuff ain't cheap. I get it (I'm a great tipper though because I worked in the service industry for 6-7 years).
  8. "Women didn't feel empowered enough to stop men from sexually assaulting them in a lot of places I've been, America could learn a thing or two."
  9. I'm trying to boil down exactly what you're saying here, because it doesn't make sense. You're talking about sex clubs and brothels, which can and are protected, licensed, etc... in much of the world. Even if you frequent a place like that, there are still consent rules. You can't just do whatever you want without a sex worker's consent. Now if you're saying that there are sex trafficked people who lack the ability to consent, yes that's true and equally abhorrent to what Deshaun Watson did, from an objective standpoint. There's no amount of cultural equivalency argument that changes that.
  10. Again, the fact that he had sex with a bunch of women isn't the problem. There's no cultural enlightenment to be had here.
  11. The difference with a brothel or sex parlor is that there's consent involved. Practically nobody would care if he was just banging the help with their consent. He was flying women in, locking them into a room alone with him and then forcing them to perform sexual acts. If you seriously don't understand the difference then you might need some kind of therapy.
  12. Laughable. It's the "Shaggy" defense at this point. He's a joke and clearly unable to see the forest for the trees.
  13. I get it, I'm just disgusted by it.
  14. They should have never settled at all if they were in any way serious about this. It should be an indefinite suspension.
  15. Wow. Gross. Way too lenient still considering the big talk from the NFL.
  16. The pearl clutching that's going on at WGR right now is just ridiculous. They're grown ass men with some of the best sports science doctors/trainers in the entire world. The Bills know what they're doing.
  17. Of all the Mic'd up clips I've watched, this was certainly one of them.
  18. A ten million dollar fine on a 250 million dollar contract, what a punishment... That'd be a joke even with a year suspension. I realize that his salary and what he did are only tangentially connected, but this whole thing feels like such a miscarriage and failure of all the justice and ethics systems involved.
  19. He looked okay? LB is pretty much locked up anyways. He's playing for a 4th-5th on the depth chart role with maybe some ST. Shakir might have the chance to see meaningful reps as a 3rd outside WR/slot/gadget player. He really didn't play against any starting caliber competition either.
  20. Punt god memes aside, I really think Shakir deserves an honorable mention. He looked excellent.
  21. Mostly (in my opinion) because all of the other rookie QBs were sent to dumpster fire level organizations and Trey Lance didn't even really play.
  22. If it's "The World vs. sex predators" then sorry Cleveland but I'm with the world on this one.
  23. Benford really made a name for himself after this game too. He's gonna have to make the roster or somebody else is gonna scoop him up.
  24. Awesome leg. With a little bit more refinement those monster kicks are going to be even more effective. Great start from the rookie.
  25. This felt expected given some of the hype around him at camp. I was really surprised at how well Hodgins performed. If he could play special teams he would have definitely have a shot at pushing out Kumerow.
