  1. The OPI was blatant. You can swim move off of a DB, you can't shove him to the ground. The Missed FG would still have required recovering an onside kick, and then driving down the field and scoring with no TOs with something like 45 seconds on the clock. If you were biting your nails you might have anxiety issues.
  2. When you're doing "what worked" and that was running the ball for 8 minutes down by 17 to have a turnover on downs then guess what? It wasn't working.
  3. I'm not sure what Wilson has been doing qualifies as passing the ball though.
  4. I heard some of the players sometimes trade snacks at lunch.
  5. I can't think of a single team that was "a safety away" from being super bowl caliber. As electric as Poyer/Hyde have been, it's not important enough of a position to rate.
  6. Guess the season is over. Pack it up boys.
  7. 2nd half didn't pass the eye test but it doesn't really matter. QBs have off games.
  8. I don't know why they would trade him within the AFC if they were gonna move him.
  9. Or with more valuable playing experience our young safeties will improve. Or we'll trade for one. I don't know. We've already played and beaten the best the AFC has to offer pretty much.
  10. It never, ever works when you're already down 17 points.
  11. Great effort but the ball tip pretty clearly hits the turf before Milano gains control.
  12. If you think the Bills' run defense was a problem last night, then you've been drinking too much of the Collinsworth Kool Aid. That was not a winning formula for the Packers and they proved it. You want to take 7-8 minutes to run down the field and then not convert on a 4th, or end up kicking a FG? Go right ahead. It was a joke of a strategy and should be treated as such.
  13. The problem (if you really want to see it that way) with being the best team in the NFL is that everyone is going to make you pay a premium for what they got. I'm not sure Beane is willing to buy high, even in a window like this. Whether or not he should is probably debatable. If the Bills could have landed Von Miller in a trade last year I have a feeling we might be the reigning super bowl champs instead of LA. I definitely wouldn't mind the acquisition of another skill player either. Or go sign OBJ if he's healthy enough to play. Low risk, huge reward.
  14. During his tenure the Bills did not have the culture or support staff for young players that they do now. The coaching staff was not as detail oriented about player development, recovery, and physical load management. They may have reached out, but they weren't as buttoned up as they are now with player development. I don't want to make it sound like his career trajectory was the sole fault of the Bills either, ultimately it was up to him.
  15. A lot of hate here for a guy who clearly didn't have it all put together during his time in Buffalo and the Bills failed to get him the support network he needed. Maybe it wouldn't have mattered but I'm not gonna hate on a guy for liking Buffalo. Wish it worked out better but it is what it is.
  16. I'd argue that the Bills already have better depth at O-Line than the majority of the league, just not the top end talent, but that's really besides the point that I already made. Teams don't trade O-Lineman midseason, so your idea of "well just get an O-Lineman" is a non-starter. The guys on the street aren't better than what we already have at O-Line depth. If they were, teams wouldn't be picking JAGs like Luke Tenuta off the practice squad.
  17. Find one who is on the trading block who would be an upgrade from what we have. Hint: It doesn't exist. You might as well say you want them to sign a unicorn.
  18. I love the idea of a 2 year deal that's heavy on the incentives. Be great if that was true.
  19. I think Gibson would be a good fit as well.
  20. I think the Bills can afford it.
  21. That's basically my take. I think it looks cool. The Stadium needs to be updated. I'm happy it's being updated.
  22. If you aren't tailgating with a Wegman's sub you're just doing it wrong.
  23. Even if he is, the Jets aren't going to make a trade like this to someone in the conference, much less their own division. The Bills would have to overpay an extreme degree to not be laughed out of the room.
  24. Honestly fine with it. Black Friday is a scam.
  25. Sometimes I wonder how people even manage to get dressed in the morning.
