  1. I'm not happy with Dorsey but I can understand why he did what he did. Nobody, and I mean nobody, took a step forward this season on offense. Crowder went down early, McKenzie blew his opportunity. Gabe Davis didn't show enough to be the #2 the org wanted him to be. Diggs was fantastic, but he can only do so much when the defense is just focused on shutting him down. The O-Line was horrifying, I don't think I've seen worse guard play this season. The RBs were getting touched at the handoff. Spencer Brown gets beat easily for being a big athletic guy. It was just rough. Allen hides so many of the warts, he's one of the top 3 most dynamic players in the league. We need to invest in him and around him, because without Allen this team would be dead in the water.
  2. That would be a steal. He's worth more than the Watson trade.
  3. Sometimes we should just not type out the thoughts in our head.
  4. I would have loved to be the Chargers during the drought years. Allen is better than Rivers was by a mile. The problem is our coaching staff is living 20 years in the past and trying to win on the back of a bloated defense instead of investing in the guy who is actually making them look good.
  5. Sure, and what you're saying makes it worse. They had multiple years to see the talent in this guy and they even had him on the field where he produced with limited reps, and they still got rid of him. the McD coaching staff is awful at making depth chart changes. Maybe comically bad. The poor use of our rookies isn't because we just draft bad. It's because we don't give them the chance to develop in real game scenarios.
  6. Eh. Okay. Maybe if Hodgins didn't just go to another team and have a handful of good to decent games I'd agree.
  7. It's not like our rookies even get a chance to play.
  8. I wanted Diggs during the 2019 season. I wasn't on this forum then but on Reddit.
  9. Once we add TO to shore up the WR room, they'll be unstoppable.
  10. Is anyone saying that? I'm certainly not, and I've been advocating for changes. Signing washed up, overpriced guys who have retired from the league twice isn't something I'd like to see the Bills do however.
  11. Should probably grab Bruce Smith to play opposite Rousseau and get Stevie Johnson in the slot while we're at it.
  12. You need to define "the killer instinct" for this thread to have any semblance of meaning.
  13. I can only hope that the Saffold invite is some kind of disguise for an intervention or something.
  14. Let's not invest anything in RB until the OC proves he remembers the running game exists. This can include screens too.
  15. Not to pile on, but look at Jerry Hughes as another example that makes me suspect of the coaching. He goes off to the Texans and starts producing immediately, not just pressures. Fraizer needs to go, we have two overly conservative coaches running the defense. We need a perspective shift to complement McD.
  16. I would swap Dorsey for Moore in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.
  17. Much rather see Babitch take over than Frazier stay.
  18. He might be following the blueprint, but let's not pretend that his stamp isn't the defense as well. The slow to adjust in game management is Fraizer. The defense doesn't adjust, and they don't change up the gameplan, formations, etc... We need to bring in somebody who is hungry to prove themselves. We have McD to mentor someone like that. If we can have a rookie OC with basically no safety net (not that I agree with it), why can't we try something at DC with a safety net?
  19. He always looks like he forgot his glasses. He's not a bad guy or a dumpster level coach but it's time to move on. I'd love to see the Bills Bring in someone young and aggressive that McD can mentor.
  20. He was good when he had Luck. I still would have loved to see him be our OC.
  21. Sacrifice so media outlets like WGR can say "See, they're making changes. You know what I mean?" even though Frazier will still trot out the most basic scheme that relies on our players just being substantially better than theirs.
  22. You can't trust the defense in football. Any defense, not just the Bills. The game is heavily skewed to offense. Going against that and putting your hope in the side that's inherently disadvantaged is foolish.
  23. Why title your thread about Dawkins and then write more about the defense?
  24. I think we'd definitely kick ourselves letting him go, but I want to give him the exact same contract as Milano + inflation. I doubt it'll get it done though. He's going to ball out somewhere else with a DC who lets him play free.
  25. I'm not happy with McD right now either but I don't realistically think you could get anyone to replace him that would be an upgrade. He's a top 10 coach in the NFL, arguably a top 5. The best course of action is to replace the defensive coordinator with somebody young and aggressive, which would balance nicely with McD's conservative nature. I don't know what you do with OC. Frankly, I'm not excited to see Dorsey again but I can understand that it's probably a long shot that he gets fired. I'd love to see Reich in at OC, proven successful OC in big time situations.
