I couldn’t care less about investing in the defense at this point. We’ve already replaced White with Douglas who is arguably just as good. Go all in on offense and watch this team shine.

From a former McDermott Supporter: It is OVAH
Bruffalo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we can’t rely on our defense to close out a win, then what’s the point of having a defensive HC? Allen has another incredible game that’s just wasted. Dorsey was only part of the problem it seems. -
That would have minimized the suffering at least…

McDermott won’t quit it until every team in the NFL has an “instant classic” win against the Bills. It’s incredible how consistent he is at losing in big moments. 0-6 in OT, by luck alone we should have won at least 1. We are consistently defying statistics and losing games that nobody has ever been dumb enough to lose before. It’s incredible if you aren’t a Bills fan.

There’s about 10 tapes of him losing in similar ways. I think the tape is out there.

I feel like I need to have a grief counselor on retainer in order to watch the Bills this season. Holy god is it soul crushing. How many times do we need the same song and dance from McDermott when the pressure is on. He’s whatever the opposite of clutch is. You could fire him tonight and I wouldn't blink. I’ve never seen a winning HC beg to be fired so badly as McDermott. Literally the same mistakes week in and week out. And the kneel with 20 seconds left!? WHAT?! You’re the coach who lost to 13 seconds. You’ve seen what a confident team can do, and you chicken out. That in itself should be fireable.

Outlook on McDermott if we turn it around
Bruffalo replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean, the Eagles lost to the Jets in a very similar way to how we did in week 1 and the Chiefs should have lost to the Jets. 30 PPG will win you most games in the NFL, regardless of opponent. That doesn't have to be the case in these upcoming games but I'd feel pretty comfortable betting the Bills if you told me they were going to score 32 points. -
Singletary & Moss both look much better on new teams
Bruffalo replied to Chicagobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Moss had maybe the worst vision I've ever seen a RB have. He's clearly improved a lot. Singletary seems pretty much the same? Just more opportunities given the offense. -

If they play like they did yesterday and get 30+ PPG they'll likely win at least 1 of the 2, if not both. Certainly not a sure thing but I have a cautious amount of confidence that Brady is going to get more out of Allen for the rest of the season. -

32 points with an OC who had ~6 days to prepare and call his first game for the team against a top 3 defense. The whole team just looked more in sync and Allen looked more alive. -
Pretty wild turnaround considering what Allen and the Bills looked like last week. Was it all Dorsey? Did Josh need a wake up call? Can't say for sure, but it seems pretty safe to say that moving on from Dorsey was the best decision. The tablets are safer, anyway.

Shakir is considerably faster than Davis, at least in game speed. I think Knox is still a great RZ target, but Kincaid should get the majority of looks on the field. It will be good to move on from the 6 O-Lineman Jumbo package and back to 12 when we're close to the goal line.

I heard on WGR, from Sal maybe, that Harris was contemplating retiring after that neck injury.

Outlook on McDermott if we turn it around
Bruffalo replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. There was a lot of rumbling in the fanbase that Dorsey should have been shown the door in the off-season, and rumors that it was part of what Diggs was so frustrated with before training camp. I think it’d be better to move on from McDermott, if only because I don’t see him radically shifting philosophy to make Allen and the offense the focus, and his game day blunders are pretty damning. -

You go 7-0 or 6-1 in the stretch here and I’ll hear you out. -
Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?
Bruffalo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is that true? I had no idea. That’s a very quiet #2 then, I guess it is the lack of touchdowns that’s keeping it quiet in the media. -
Undeniable how much better this offense looked compared to week 1. Had a short week and had a great game plan, was able to get some chunk plays, and had a great unpredictable run game. Very impressive and a good start, but there are some big tests up ahead.

Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?
Bruffalo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every game there’s more than a few plays where I think he’s gonna break out and get a big TD. It’s impressive considering all season he’s had horribly limited snaps thanks to Donkey Dorsey -
Bills Jets brawl in tunnel after the game.
Bruffalo replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall
As is tradition. Good officiating doesn’t exist in the NFL. -
The team has a lot to overcome but this was a huge step in the right direction. Douglas is looking like the best trade since Diggs. Instant game changer on defense. Shakir should be the #2 moving forward. Davis is (and rightfully should be) phased out, and I’ll be very surprised if the Bills offer him a contract. Cook looks great, no surprise there. Kincaid is going to be a star. I see him being a staple in this offense for the rest of Allen’s career.

TNF: Bengals vs Ravens - Who are we rooting for?
Bruffalo replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wonder if teams with dark jerseys just get more calls because it's easier to see the defenders hands. Obviously that should have never been called because it's a BS penalty. -
I don't have any numbers here, but it feels like a lot of catastrophic Allen mistakes are to intended to go to Davis. They haven't been on the same page all season. Davis is a rosterable WR in the NFL, but he's not a reliable #2. If he was going against worse CB play I think we would like him a lot more as our 3, and he'd probably be more successful.
-
I don't know if that's sarcastic or not but something similar was asked: He said that he would prepare each week to call plays in case something happened and he was needed, so I'd imagine he would have a good grip on the playbook.

The Scientific Explanation for the Bills Demise.
Bruffalo replied to TampaBillsJunkie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah man. The universe is crazy. -
Brady is talking to the media right now. He sounds focused and prepared, and I really like what he's saying about how he views the coordinator role. Let's hope this is a good sign of things to come. "Josh Allen is the best quarterback in the NFL".
