It’s almost like we should have traded for someone. -

If this isn’t the slap in the face to Beane that he needed to get deals done then I don’t know what is. The dolphins aren’t even trying to stop anything downfield. What does that say about your team? -

Well kiss the division goodbye after this performance. Buck stops at McDermott, he did not get this team ready to play. -

So far this has been a complete coaching failure on both sides of the ball. McD won his regular season Super Bowl and now this is the hangover. No other real explanation for it. A coaching disaster and awful preparation. -

We lose Hoecht and it looks like the defense completely doesn’t know what to do now. Good thing we kept all those draft picks though… -

Nice to see Brady is back into form calling absurd trash in situational moments that really matter. Do that stuff on 2nd and short, not 4th and 1 when you’re down 7. Why do they insist on making everything so hard? -
Buffalo is a Sacred Place to Play a Football Game
Bruffalo replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Going up to Buffalo's not an easy thing. That stadium was rocking. That place was electric. Shout out to all the Bills Mafia that was talking all the [expletive] in the world. I love it. It's a sacred place to play a football game. I cherish every game that I get an opportunity to go up there." - Travis Kelce -

I just wish they'd try to use Coleman in a different way. Let him play out of the slot for a bit or something, because it seems clear that he's not successful in his role right now and I think Allen just doesn't have trust in him to try and force him the ball after the last few games. -
Cowboys DE Marshawn Kneeland passes away - 24 yrs old.

100% I'm doing my best to raise my kid in a healthy environment that I never truly had. When my wife and I were dating years ago and I started to hang out with her family more and more, it was a revelation. Like "OH this is how a normal family acts, this is so much better." I still love my father, but I also hate him for everything he did (and didn't do). It's complicated, thankfully I'm mature and open enough at this point in my life that I can meet with a therapist regularly to work through all of these conflicting emotions. -

My father was one of those "older generation" types. He had a very abusive childhood and was a Vietnam veteran. He clearly had some post traumatic stress that he never processed, and towards the end of his life he turned to an extreme gambling addiction and some drug use in order to cope. Burned through almost all his savings within three years, almost lost his house (would have, if I didn't step in), and went AWOL. About 4 weeks later they found him dead in his car by the California border. We still have no idea why he was going there or what he was doing.- 86 replies

I'll pour out some hot sauce for the homies.

I haven't looked into the science very much, but while they should have similar genetic predispositions for things like ease of training and temperament, experience very much comes into play when talking about personality. It's the whole nature vs. nurture argument. The reality is that it's a mix of both, with a likely tilt towards nurture.

I don't care about viewership, but I do care about chicken wings eaten per capita of that 31 million folks.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to restructure Taron if they didn't already have a deal mostly in place. I think everyone agrees, fans and analysts and color commentators alike, that the Bills have got to do something. It's wild to me if Beane stays put.

Exiled to the Jets. Poor dude. At least he gets to hang out with Brick Johnson now.
-
Tell that to the Rams when they got Beckham Jr. He was huge for them that year.

My cat probably as much insider information as this random dude.

I heard this on WGR this morning and I agree with it: We're one Kincaid injury away from the passing offense being ineffective. How else can you spin it?

After seeing Shaeed traded to the Seahawks... Come on Beane...

That's a pretty aggressive move for the Colts. I love it. Big star player, arguably a top 5 corner, on a superbowl looking team. That's what you gotta do to set yourself apart.

BTJ has longer cost control though, and if the problems are all effort related like what's reported you'd hope the Bills' culture would be able to straighten that out. I don't think Waddle is a real option because of the division. Olave is probably our best and only hope unless the Eagles decide to move AJ Brown for reasons unknown.
-
I wouldn't blink at sending them a 1st + a 4th or a 2nd + 3rd for BTJ. I think you could probably get Olave, Shaeed, or maybe Waddle for cheaper though.

How illegal would it be for Beane to wager players with the GM of the phins based on the outcome of the game? -Buffalo loses, the phins get Benford, Cook, and Spencer Brown. -Buffalo wins, the phins give up Waddle & Jaelan Phillips. Just a fun thought. The phins should be tanking this game, so I think this will be a good opportunity to get the rookies more playing time and cohesion on defense.
