  1. Nah. Not a first in my opinion. I'd be on the fence about a 2nd. Is Adams enough to get us a legitimate shot at the 1 seed? The division looks like it's a mess again, so we will likely win AFCE without him. At that point, I'm aggressively perusing Amari Cooper, Hopkins, or someone similar.
  2. I don't really understand the point you're trying to make here. If you hit 1 woman it's 4 games, but 24+ is only 11? At what point do those women start to mean less in terms of punitive action? Is there a bulk discount? I'm not arguing against the Von's punishment, just that it's completely inconsistent. If anything, I'm saying Watson should be banned for 96+ games.
  3. I just hate how logically inconsistent the NFL is when they hand this stuff down. Watson had dozens of women coming forward saying that he sexually and physically abused them, civil suits all over the place, only 11 games. Von has one DV allegation that is dropped and that's 4 games? How does that make sense? I'm not saying Von shouldn't be suspended even, just that the punishment is so ridiculously inconsistent that it's like they're pulling numbers out of a hat. Tyreek Hill is out there trying to commandeer ships and getting in fistfights and nothing happens. Why is this even hard for them?
  4. WR or DE would have the most impact, but there aren't a lot of DEs up for trade and the ones we have are decent enough. So I'd go WR, as it's arguably the 2nd most important position in football.
  5. I'd like us to take a swing at something, because it's clearly a WR room that can be improved. I doubt they'll do anything though. Beane isn't gonna mortgage the future Bills for what has already been described as a rebuild.
  6. Williams without Bernard to anchor everything looks lost out there, he's our leading tackler and a lot of it is because he's getting targeted a ton. Sunday night would have been a different game with Bernard, Milano, and Taron Johnson in the lineup. Heck, even one of them might have made a massive difference. At least we're getting 2/3 back soon.
  7. Every game where we face a "beat up O-Line" we consistently put up putrid numbers. It's like clockwork. It's not just Oliver, everyone on the line was bad Sunday night. I don't know if there's much to glean from it really.
  8. He shouldn't be starting though. Cole Bishop has so much more upside but McD can't play a rookie on defense unless absolutely forced to.
  9. They didn't have answers to the pressure Josh was facing all night. That's the reason why the WR room looked bad. Philosophically they need to take those 6 Mac Hollins targets and get them to Coleman.
  10. Everyone knows when Ray Davis comes in on 2nd down they're gonna run it. I don't understand why we can't let Cook just run more than one time consecutively. Pulling our most explosive offensive weapon besides Allen just seems like bad game theory.
  11. The whole game was a mess, and the gameplan coming into it didn't make a whole lot of sense. Hamlin needs to be out as the starting safety. Bishop should be playing that role, we need some athletic talent in the backfield. The linebackers are backups and it shows when they're put to the test. Dorian Williams needs to just play better, and Spector is too limited to be very effective against a power run scheme that has the speed element Baltimore does. Our zone defense didn't work because there was no edge pressure. This always seems to happen whenever we play a team that has a narrative about a beat up offensive line, it's like karmic abuse or something. Cam Lewis got spanked all night. I still don't think he's good enough consistently to be a backup. The offense did not execute. The line was bad, drops, goofy stuff through and through. I think if we weren't playing from behind the entire night things may have looked differently, but they got stressed out there and it showed. The good news is Taron Johnson and Bernard might be back soon.
  12. Everyone is that much smaller than Spencer Brown. He's more giant than man.
  13. Mitch Trubisky had to come in and finish the game for Allen. QB controversy in Buffalo?
  14. Sean McDermott coming into the next three games: In all seriousness though, I think they're obviously challenges but the Bills have historically done well against Jackson and the Ravens. Houston will be tough but pressure on Stroud will go a long way. Sorry, I'm not a believer in the Jets just because they beat up on the Patriots. They'll need to do a lot more to get me overly concerned. Breece Hall is good though.
  15. One of the more insane throws by any QB this season. So much anticipation and ball placement on that throw. It's wild how bad Dorsey ended up being ultimately, because he looked way worse with arguably better pieces. Brady is playing to the strengths of every guy out there and it really, really shows.
  16. Coleman was busy at the tailgate and lost track of time I bet.
  17. 3 games in and it seems pretty clear that Allen's play elevated Davis and not the other way around (I've been saying this for a while, but I think Davis actively hurt Allen with his choice routes consistently not being on the same page). Add an injury to it and maybe the moment just got a bit too big for Davis. I don't feel bad for him, he got a big contract and he's set for life if he's smart.
  18. I can understand leaving the Chiefs at 1 since they have one thing that no other team has: The referees to bail them out in the 4th quarter. It sets them apart from every other team on the field.
  19. He looks like a backup dancer in a boy band video... Ohio: Not even once.
  20. So when does the Bengals firesale begin so they can rebuild? Chase is probably happy they didn't pay him considering how it's going.
  21. Gabe Davis on the injury report tomorrow with a bruised ego.
  22. Josh just earned himself a few more "overrated" votes from that Jacksonville Bench lol
  23. Is it time for Mitch to come in and take us to the promised land?
