  1. Imagine how this thread would’ve gone if he caught that ball- 4 catches, roughly 60 yards and a td. Plus Josh would’ve had 5 touchdown passes...so while that drop was terrible, it’s amazing how much focus is given to the drop and not the great catch along the sideline, his catch up the seam, or his 4th down catch. I’ll take what he brings to the table every game
  2. Honestly I think it’s simply fear of the unknown-the Bills have already played the other top AFC teams (and dominated one of them when Josh was at full strength) so this is the one team people are fully sure of how they will stack up. As far as the Titans and Chiefs are concerned, I think most people are of the opinion that with a full week to prepare for just one of them and a fully healthy Josh the Bills March up very well with both of them
  3. You’re right, he’s terrible-the Bills should just cut him right now! What an absolute waste of a 4th round pick-the kid didn’t even make the pro bowl this year, he’s a loser! And on his way out he should take Knox with him, Ford obviously needs to be cut, and just to make things really spicy because I know he’s been great this year, they should also get rid of Allen because of his first 2 years here!!!1
  4. If you read some of the comments on this board there seems to be a bunch of people who are afraid to potentially play the dolphins 2 weeks in a row 🤦‍♂️
  5. To be fair they did put a really good smack down on Tennessee the other night
  6. What did we do before social media and message boards? I mean I love a good hyperbole just as much as anyone else, but man, with the amount of GOATS, worst players ever, cut him right now, sign this guy because I’ve heard of him...it’s gotten a little out of hand!
  7. I kind of understand the concern against a team like the Ravens but I also don’t understand it at all. That team is playing well but is VERY beatable. They were talking about it during the pregame show that while Baltimore has looked impressive lately, they have not beaten any quality teams. Will they try to run the ball if they play the Bills, absolutely they will... it they better plan on scoring every time they have the ball because if they don’t the Bills will handle them
  8. There’s a HUGE difference between this Bills teams and last year’s Ravens team. That Ravens team was built to run the ball and keep their leads through running and using play action to their tight ends. They couldn’t come back if they got down multiple scores. This Bills teams has shown they can win the close games and they have a quarterback who can get the ball to his wide receivers. They can control the clock (I believe they lead the league in 10+ play drives) and can score quickly. On any given Sunday as they say any team can lose, but this is a different team than the one you are referencing
  9. I want to make sure I am understanding this right-you want him let go as in cut him? Right now? After the season? When? I’m guessing you mean after the season, if that’s the case who is the immediate upgrade (keep in mind he is still on his rookie deal and will be that way for 2 more years)? If you mean right now, what’s the benefit this late in the season?
  10. You must be intentionally ignoring all of the posts about having home field advantage even without fans/bye week. It has been said so many times it’s almost comical. There’s so much more than just those things-you don’t have to travel, you know the stadium much better than the visiting team, not sleeping in a hotel, just to name a few. Are you really that nervous about playing the dolphins?! Not only do I want the Bills to play the dolphins 3 times, with the way Josh has owned the dolphins so far I want him to play them 10 times! Their defense doesn’t scare me (look at their stats, they aren’t as good as people make them out to be), Tua might be good some day, he is absolutely nothing right now...do you show them everything next week? No, definitely not...but they shouldn’t be playing scared like you’re suggesting
  11. Not at all, and it’s just semantics, but since it’s all on a message board the way you word it is important. Everyone wants him on the field, but you sound like one of those guys who was ready to get rid of Josh after his first year, or wanted to fire McDermott because they lost 2 in a row, or thought they should’ve tanked instead making the playoffs in McDermott’s first year. Not saying you said/did any of those things, but you definitely could’ve expressed your frustration differently, that’s all
  12. You must’ve been really fun to be around during Josh’s first 2 years
  13. Pittsburgh still has a shot at the 2 seed, why would they rest guys week 17?? They also haven’t been playing great lately so they probably want to go into the playoffs with as much momentum as possible. Not really understanding your thinking...
  14. I’m actually amazed at how many easy throws Mahomes misses, as well as throws where guys have to wait for the the ball instead of him leading his receivers more. Don’t get me wrong he is still one of the best 2 quarterbacks in the game, but his accuracy isn’t as good as what many think it is
  15. Absolutely not, terrible take. Teams need to adapt to the situation. The Browns had 4 receivers out and they adapted by having Baker throw 50+ times. No asterisks because teams play with stupid gameplans
  16. Sorry if this was already mentioned, but I just saw that the Seahawks had 4 guys from their historically bad defense make the pro bowl...how does that happen??
  17. Does this mean there’s now room for Da’Rick on this roster??? Imagine how good that guy would be with this QB!!!!
  18. Yes, at some point he is going to throw an interception in the red zone. He better hit 50 total touchdowns before that first interception happens though or we should start looking at QB’s in the draft
  19. So if I remember reading correctly Poyer was leading the fan vote, so this came down to the player and coach vote. The guys who got in over him got in because of name recognition. Even amongst players and coaches that’s going to be a big thing. It’s ironic to see Simmons make it as you watch him get turned around about 6 times on Motor’s touchdown the other day. I will admit I have a huge bias against Fitzpatrick, I think he has benefitted GREATLY behind that defensive line (he wasn’t that food playing in Miami) and just haven’t watched enough of Matthieu to know anything about him this season
  20. So I think Hill gets it over Diggs simply because he brings attention to himself. He does a lot of stupid things on the field (for example, the backflips into the end zone, the peace sign as he is about to score, etc) but this season has been able to back it up with touchdown receptions. The voters don't think this way but they should - would Hill have even close to as many touchdowns and splash plays if he didn't play on the same team as Kelce and Mahomes? You certainly have to account for his speed and my Bills homerism is certainly playing into this but I think Diggs has done more and deserves the first team all pro more than Hill
  21. People get penalized all the time for doing their jobs well...they get more work piled on, they are given more responsibilities (all with your boss's expectations of not giving you a raise or a promotion). Getting penalized for doing your job well is not something that is new, and not something that applies just to sports This is only true because his division is terrible. If he was in another division with that record his team would already be eliminated
  22. Yeah but do we really want to create a QB controversy???
  23. If Josh takes less, it’s not going to be significantly less and it shouldn’t be. It’s not up to Josh to put together a competitive team, that’s up to the front office. We need to stop using Brady as the example. Just because Mahomes, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, etc signed big contracts does not mean they weren’t team oriented guys. If you ever listen to players around the league, they never want guys to take less money. Fans are always screaming for guys to take less money but let’s be honest, I fan truly understands how the salary cap works-if they did they would be working for an NFL team. Let Josh get paid every dollar he can get and let the front office guys do their job and structure these contracts so the players can get paid
  24. So is the premise because he has better stats or because the Bills aren’t a ground and pound team, they throw the ball more? If the Bills go on the road it’s not like they are likely to go play in a dome or in nice weather. KC, Pittsburgh, Tennessee (while not terrible not an ideal place to go play in January) so I’m not really understanding why anyone would want them to play away games...doe that incredibly slim chance they might get to play Indy in their dome for one game then have to go on the road to cold weather cities after that?
  25. Like I said I know that I am nitpicking, my point is Kelce is so much more than a security blanket-he runs every route possible, he goes deep, he does everything...I just think that Kelce was the wrong example to use when it was said that Josh doesn’t need a guy to go deep or be a playmaker-that’s exactly what Kelce is. I guess it all comes down to what you think a security blanket is-to me, Kelce is so much more than a security blanket, that’s all I was trying to say and probably shouldn’t pick the best or second best tight end in the league as the example
