Spencer Brown deserves his own thread.

He has 15 accepted penalties in 15 games. A player should not be averaging a penalty a game, that’s absurd -
Explain please….as in actually forfeit a game?!??

12/22/24 GAMEDAY Week 15 Bills vs Patriots* Post GameThread
Ya Digg? replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
These are such moronic arguments-well if this, that, and this didn’t happen the Bills Would’ve lost. So if I play your game, if the Bills didn’t give up touchdowns on the first 2 drives they would’ve won 24-7. It doesn’t matter if those things didn’t happen, the reality is they did and the Bills won because of it -
Red Uniforms. Take them off. Burn them. Never wear them again.

Damn, for a bunch of “tough guys” on the internet who went on and on for multiple pages about a guy being upset because his friend got badly injured and how crying makes him look bad and a poor leader, a lot of the same people are really worked up over the colors of a uniform- 99 replies

Week 16, Cheats v. Bills, GAME BALLS!
Ya Digg? replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Questions though-does Spencer Brown realize he doesn’t need to get at least 1 penalty a game??? -
So your solution would have been to trade him in his 2nd season for a 6h or 7th round pick? I’m guessing Beane got offers for him, but he’s smart enough to know he is worth more than a 6th rounder

So your argument is because 2 of the upper echelon QBs had a good game and a guy who threw for 260 is a career game? I’m not saying they have played well, clearly they haven’t, but context is important -
Explain when that was. You weren’t trading him his first year, and he wasn’t worth much after that. And saying to trade him for a 6th or 7th does not constitute trade value

Around the NFL - Week 16 (12/22/2024) (*no Bills talk, please!*)

Doesn’t every team have 3 games in 11 days st some point? Play Sunday, then the following Sunday, then on Thursday night football -

Perhaps it’s my Bills bias, but I don’t get the Vrabel obsession. Slightly above .500 regular season record, losing record in the playoffs….is he really the guy that’s going to turn some team into a major contender? -
Week 16 - Patriots at Bills Game Week Thread (Game at 4:25pm ET)

You need to look at Kirk’s stats when it comes to playoff games. The guy had played lights out in the playoffs, it’s his defense that lets him down (sound familiar?) Kirk stats are incredible in the playoffs, he has played excellent playoff football -
I do think this is one of those cases where context is incredibly important. Lions only had 14 midway through the 3rd quarter, then it seemed as though every single starter got injured. I think understanding that is incredibly important

12/15/24 Week 15 Bills @ Lions Game day Thread
Ya Digg? replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
So flip it around-do you see the Lions defense stopping the Bills? the reality is they are 1 and 2 in the league in scoring (I believe) so it’s not like anyone has really been able to stop either offense -
Defense is built to stop average and below offenses.
Ya Digg? replied to TD716's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nuts, you were doing so well too-then you tried to use Skylar Thompson for your argument. Good try though -

Yeah I’m pretty sure everyone would agree that having 1 of the top 3-5 defensive players in the league would help, this isn’t exactly ground breaking thinking. All of those guys are still with the teams that drafted them. Everyone knew Garrett would be awesome, that’s why he was the #1 pick. No one thought Watt or Jones would become the players they are, otherwise they would’ve been drafted 1 or 2 as well. It’s not as if the Bills haven’t tried to draft that gamechanger for the defense, it just hadn’t happened -
I agree he was a danger last year, but has he really had much friendly fire this year? He hit Douglas last week, has he taken out any other Bills this year? I’ve actually been pretty pleased with how much he ISN’T going down the huge hit and had been playing the ball much more

The Lions have got to be everyone’s second favourite team…right?
Ya Digg? replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know, to me that’s a pretty weak reason to call them classless. He is on the opposing team-you boo the guys on the opposing team. Buffalo has done it to former players, does that make us classless? -
If we are basing this off of today’s game, there isn’t a single player on defense who isn’t rusty or washed

12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread
Ya Digg? replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It just seems very odd that you’re asking for even more out of Josh Allen Han how he played today. Sure he missed a couple of throws, but so does every QB. He literally had a historical game today and you’re saying it wasn’t good enough. It completely sure what you watched today-what happened in the game is not on Josh at all -

So you’re saying the standard for Josh needs to be better than 6 td’s, 80 yards rushing, and 340 yards passing? -

To be fair Johnson was terrible his first couple of years, pretty much up until that pick 6 against Lamar in the playoffs -
I’m not completely sure which way you are thinking, but reading this makes the argument of getting the 1 seed even stronger
-
1 seed-the bye gives you a chance to rest guys to get them healthy for the playoffs. There’s no guarantee that your players won’t get injured-didn’t Bernard get injured in last year’s game against the Steelers? Also, anything can happen in the playoffs-one extra game is one more game the team could lose. So go for the 1 seed
-
Wow, you’re so down on the Bills that you think they’ll lose TWICE in the playoffs? I’ve seen people get unnecessarily down on them before, but this is impressive
