  1. I don't understand the apparent genuine shock that Brady and the Bucs will be on prime time so often.  He's a big story and he went to a team that is going to be fun to watch.  He's not in the division any more, like it or not he IS a story and people want to watch him, so I think we all need to stop being so butt hurt and enjoy our 4 prime time games and our AFCE title!

Sensationalize?  I wouldn’t say that.  All these games and the talent is usually so even.  And even when it’s a good team vs a bad team it ends up coming down to 5-6 plays or some bounce or some little thing.

Steelers play at home thanksgiving.  Then they get extra rest and have another home game against Washington.  Then they get a full week followed by a 3 hour trip to Buffalo.

There is a difference maker right there.  A little thing.

Pittsburgh will be coming off a little bit of a brutal stretch too. If you check their three games before the Bills game, they play 2 games in 4 days! Yes they then have 10 days until their next game but the second of those 2 games in 4 days is against Baltimore!

Again while not ideal, it’s not terrible. Plus the fact that we can talk about 2 straight prime time games means the league thinks the Bills will be pretty good!

    No sir.  2020.

still waiting to see if McDermott offense can hit the magic 20 points per game.  And factoring in the bills will return from San Fran 4am -5am Tuesday morning and then in 5 days have to play a fully rested Steelers team and then hop right back on a plane and fly to the mountain region and the altitudes of Denver

I get what you’re trying to say but I think you are sensationalizing it. It’s not like they get back at 5am and then have to play that night then get a plane and play in Denver the night after that. While not ideal it’s not that terrible either

I am very happy with the Starting 3. My hope is the depth can step up and start pushing the starting three

^this-if one of those guys goes down the Bills could be in trouble. Hopefully Knox and Singletary improve significantly which would lessen that blow, but past the first 3 receivers they’re still lacking

Part of the reason yeah.  He’s flashed at times but has never been able to put it all together.  He was off to a great start last year and averaged almost 20 yards a catch.  I think he can definitely contribute

So what would you pay (presumably as a free agent) to get him? Has he shown anything at this point that’s different than what Goodwin did here? Literally the only difference between the two is that Ross got drafted in the first round. Neither guy can stay healthy, so you can’t count on them to contribute

  6. what has Stidham shown at any point that should make people think this highly of him? Was it his underwhelming career at Auburn? He was a late round pick for a reason. The Bills won’t take him lightly, but let’s not anoint him the next Brady yet

I'm deleting this thread. Very surprised that folks don't see the inherent nepotism here, but oh well.

How much more attention do you need?  Just delete it already!  Let me guess, you were also offered scholarships in high school to go play football in college, but you hurt your shoulder and had to turn them down.  Bet when you tell people that story it gets you lots of attention too

Don't you just hate it when those pesky facts get in the way of your narrative?

  8. I think we all agree that him running is a HUGE weapon.  It seemed that as the season went on he did a much better job of avoiding the big hit.  There were a couple of those runs (and some that weren't on there) where he took some huge hits though, and I remember on a couple of them wondering if he was going to be okay.  I do think he will continue to get better at avoiding the big hit, however that being said it is fun sometimes when he takes on those big defenders and he's the one that ends up winning

We will wait and see just how much the Diggs trade will change the fortunes of this franchise. What I hope is that Diggs comes in and is this team's WR1 for the next 3 seasons and maintains a high level of production the next 2 seasons. That would add the needed punch to the offense and provide the gains over a long enough period of time to justify the significant draft capital and cap space put into it.

I know this trade has been discussed over and over again, but your use of the word significant implies you think it was a massive overpay on the Bills part. What do you think a fair trade would have been for him? What is he going to have to do to justify the trade? I think just by adding him and now Moss the Bills have become incredibly difficult to defend

Here's the proper order of the AFC top 5........

    1) Chiefs.......SB champs so they are #1

    2) Ravens

    3) Texans

    4) Titans.......i really don't think the Bills could beat the Titans with their superb running game.

    5) Bills......the only way the Bills are better than the Texans is by beating them and not giving up 20 points in the remaining 10 minutes of a playoff game

Saying the Bills are within the top 3 is asinine and irresponsible, however, a realistic look says we're top 5.

So you feel that the Texans team that barely beat the Bills in the playoffs that had Hopkins on it would beat the Bills again right now without Hopkins? I also think the Titans are taking a HUGE gamble on Tannehill repeating what he did last year. If he plays like (or slightly above) the Tannehill we saw before last year, they will struggle to make the playoffs

  11. This is not to say the Ravens won’t be good, I do think they will be very good, but I think that offense will regress by a good margin. The thing that will carry them is their defense. The Bills put out the blueprint to beat them, the Titans followed that blueprint. As great a seasonal Lamar had, he still hasn’t shown he can get the ball to his wide receivers.

if Josh makes the jump we are hoping he makes, the Bills are just as good if not better than the Ravens

  12. I can’t believe there’s 22 pages on this guy and it seems like half of the posts are about the guy’s reaction to being picked. People are still really butt hurt over Gilmore’s reaction all those years ago and the whole “whoa is me no one wants to play in Buffalo”victim attitude. Just listen to the kid speak, watch him play, and we all know he’s going to love it here!

He’s not talking about moving up.  I think he’s talking about keeping 54 and buying one of the first 5 picks this afternoon.  That’s a fair trade.

But it’s not even close to a fair trade. You are trading a first round pick for a second round pick. Even if you just take a look at a couple of the lists that have been posted on here, these lists are 20 guys long-that tells me there isn’t that ONE guy who the bills have to have. Plus it keeps getting mentioned that the Bills really don’t have a NEED anywhere. So again I have to disagree, not a fair deal at all
