It seems as though that's going to be his permanent position.  Even when Spain comes in, they are shifting him to RG.

I don't disagree.  I'm only talking about those two moreso because of when they were drafted and the expectations that go along with that

Oh I’m definitely with you on that, just seems like at times (not by you) there is too much focus on those 2 in particular and ignoring others

  2. Not mentioned but I think should be-our main guys on defense are getting dumped on a lot, but the role players need to start playing better. I have very little confidence when a ball is thrown towards Taron Johnson, Levi, or Marlowe. The defensive line has not looked good at all this season (minus the 4th quarter). So while Edmunds and Oliver must start making more plays, a lot of the other guys are not playing well either

  3. So for as good as Kyler Murray supposedly is, he has had a handful of games where he barely throws for 100 yards, including today...not saying he doesn't have talent but there is a lot of love given to that guy nationally considering he has had some really terrible games last year and the start of this year.

I wonder what the adjustment is to the defense today? I know it’s an unfortunate but we may be better off rotating Edmunds out a bit. The Defense is certainly better with all hands on deck LB wise....but we seem to have a tough time against the run when Edmunds is out there. May need a little more Dodson.

Come on man, seriously? Edmunds was a pro bowler last year! Sure Dodson look decent at best against Miami, but that was Miami not the Rams. I’m not saying that Edmunds had a great game, definitely didn’t but the defense is not better with him on the sidelines. Tre has been beat for a couple of touchdowns this year, should he sit out plays too?

  5. So i just heard them say on the radio that Josh should be expecting a letter pretty soon from the league with a hefty fine in there-for both the unsportsmanlike penalty (which i agree with) and for the face mask penalty....do they really hand out fines for face mask penalties?? I can understand if it’s an egregious face mask, but I can’t believe that he would get fined for the one he had the other day!

  6. The end of an era is wayyyyyy too much hyperbole for me. He might not have the season he had last year, but he’s still really good. Yes teams might be figuring him out a little bit, but he has too much talent to not have a couple of huge games every year. He definitely has his flaws-he doesn’t throw well outside to receivers, he’s probably going to need a good/great running game and tight ends to help him out, but just as Josh Allen has his narrative that he is breaking, I think Lamar is still fighting off the narrative he received at the beginning of his career

The manipulated Edmunds a lot today. He was a clear target in the pass and run game.

Run game absolutely yes, gotta disagree on the pass game. He wasn’t the one giving up all of the catches to the WRs. Tre had an off game and Wallace continues to play bad. They abused Taron Johnson badly too

See that's what some of us saw. "It." We looked past the numbers and saw intangibles.

And more importantly, we saw rational explanation for why he wasn’t a polished product coming out of college.

It’s always amazing how quickly the narrative changes too. When he was drafted it was widely said that he needed a couple of years to be ready. He was made the starter sooner than anyone anticipated, struggled some but also showed that arm talent. After that rookie year people instantly forgot that he still wasn’t ready so when he struggled last year the narrative became he will always struggle because that was the hot take.

It’s now funny to listen to a lot of these guys on tv and radio coming out and saying “I told you he has talent” when for 2 years they have been crushing him. The same 2 years that everyone at the beginning said he needed to get up to speed.

  9. It's an insane amount of wishful thinking if you think he will sign for less than 30+ million a year because "he loves buffalo" or "loves the process" or anything like that.  That's the going rate for a franchise quarterback.  Beane knows this and that's what he is planning for.  Stop thinking he will sign for less - he won't, and let's be honest, he shouldn't if he's considered a franchise quarterback.  His agent won't let him sign for less and his teammates won't let him sign for less either.  Everyone in football knows it's a business, they all want the top guys to get paid.  If they are sold on him and think he's the franchise guy, the sooner they can sign him to an extension, the better

Uh oh, should we be worried about Tre?  Gives up a touchdown last week, got burned by Diggs there, just got paid so now he's gonna dog it.....time for a trade?!?!?

*Before you kill me, please realize this was said with large amounts of sarcasm - that's a great throw and catch

Isiah Simmons the number 8 pick only played 7 snaps for a much worse defense.

    Things happen

Totally different situation because.....well you see with him......you don't understand the bust rate of a guy like AJ......If you're not getting it by the 2nd game....

Also to pick on another rookie, Davis only scored 1 touchdown which is as many as the undrafted fullback/tight end scored

He honestly has always been that way. He's been able to have a free rusher at him since his rookie year and 8 out of 10 times he makes him look silly

His strength and stature and maneuverability in the pocket are now probably second to none in the NFL

I’m more surprised when Josh actually gets sacked at this point!

  13. It’s deals like this that makes me continue to question why people think the Bills can’t afford their players. The rams are laying Goff, Donald, Ramsey, Woods, Kupp all too money plus they have Gurley’s dead cap hit on top of that. People need to stop saying the Bills can’t afford all of their players. I will say it again, if the Bills want to keep a player, there is no issue whatsoever with them keeping that player

  14. If this comes of as condescending it's not meant to, but the Bills will have no problem signing these guys if they choose to sign them.  Take a look around the league at what other teams are spending.  Look how much money KC has handed out lately.  New Orleans, Dallas, the Rams....they all have an incredibly high number of large contracts and they don't have issues.  They even said this weekend that if Brees had retired New Orleans would've gone after Brady!  If the Bills want to keep these guys, they will be able to keep them.

If this is the plan to come back and re-sign him on Sunday, I do wonder if the league will change the rules in future years to prevent this somehow?  While I understand they are not breaking any rules and that every team in the league can make such moves and likely many others are doing a similar thing, I do question if the league rules were developed with the intent of allowing these types of side deals.

I'm guessing not and won't be shocked to see them close this loophole, though off the top of my head, can't see an easy way to prevent these things from happening.

I think the fact that it was a conditional 7th round pick the Panthers were very aware of what could happen. We don’t know the full working of the trade so there could be things in there, but making the trade with less than a week before cuts leads me to believe they knew there was a high likelihood they were giving him to the Bills for nothing

I think the bigger issue is the pollution of academia with Marxist ideals. It's to the point now that grade school and high school teachers were trying to ban parents from watching their kids' remote learning. They didn't want the kids' parents to witness the brainwashing...

Yikes-you say something like that and accuse the other side of being brainwashed?

  17. I’ve said it before-if a team like the cowboys can pay all of the guys they are paying, if the Chiefs can afford all of the contracts on their roster including Mahomes huge deal, the 49ers have several large contracts as do the Seahawks, I’m not even a little bit concerned about the Bills guys getting paid. We just aren’t used to having guys that will get paid a second contract here. This is pretty much a “nothing to see here” issue

That's because LB's are built now the way safety's used to be built.  Whatever happened to being physical at the point of attack.  My god can't a LB weigh at least close to 240 pounds anymore?  You get an O lineman on any LB now and they are pretty much finished.  All these supposed LB's do is run.  But they can't tackle or stand their ground.  Sure its a passing league but guys weigning 220-225 at LB is just not what football was about.  Remember the Giants LB's back in the day of Pepper Johnson, Carl Banks, Harry Carson and LT.  Those were LB's.  Heck we had Keith Newman Sam Rogers Sam Cowart and John Holacek.  All 4 could bang.  Now we have Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds.  Yes they are athletic.  But when was the last time either of them just knocked the snot out of a RB sending him backwards??  I just had to rant.  I want some physicality w my football..  Dam it!!

Those giants linebackers would never see the field now except for goal line, 3rd and short, or 4th and short. Far too slow to keep up with the players today. As soon as the coach and QB see those guys in the field they make sure those guys at matched up on the slot or a RB
