This is exactly why I wasn’t nervous if the Bengals had gotten in. Good luck with that atrocious defense stopping what the Bills had going today

Has Bills D turned the corner with Milano back to almost normal?
Ya Digg? replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is not an earth shattering revelation, but I think Groot had to have a big game. Not necessarily getting sacks, but he needs to play outstanding in run defense. If he can, that certainly allows guys like Milano to make plays -
Their defense just gave up 250 yards passing to Russell Wilson in one half! Why aren’t any of your comments directed towards the fact that they will have to stop Buffalo as well?
-
I don’t think there’s any way they are not going to put the 2 MVP front runners on during prime time
-
You can’t have 8 teams and the top 2 get byes. Doesn’t work mathematically
-
Well remember, for some reason we can’t count total TDs and total turnovers. We all know that rushing touchdowns and fumbles aren’t real turnovers, according to Lamar apologists
-
Oh they won’t say they are scared, they will say they are being “realistic” or “objective”

Good one, you really got me there with my handle…as opposed to ”Straight Hucklebuck”-that’s some good stuff right there. So here’s the thing with the “keep investing” in weapons comments-THEY HAVE! When Herbert got there, they had several playmakers already, including Ekeler and Keenan Allen. They have used multiple first round picks on offensive linemen and Quentin Johnson. Yes Johnson has been bad, but you can’t say they haven’t invested in weapons. You think Lamar’s just started getting criticized?!?! He has been criticized as much as Allen has! Even on here, how many times have people said he is a running back playing QB

I honestly can’t wait to watch the meltdowns and doom and gloom in here over the next week! It’s going to be awesome!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Oh good god, projecting much? I started the thread because Herbert for the most part has been able to escape criticism for much of his career, and my question was why, that’s all. I have even said on multiple occasions that he is incredibly talented. That being said, he is definitely missing that “it” factor, there’s no denying that. At this point, I believe that Herbert has questions to answer-up until this point I don’t think many felt the need to question him

I think it’s crazy how much a team (the Ravens) playing has had such an effect on another team (the Bills) that they aren’t even playing! Every time the Ravens have played well, the general public has held that against the Bills. Clearly it happened with the MVP debate and I can guarantee that the Ravens game last night had had a huge effect on the betting for the Bills game today

So my OP wasn't based off of yesterday's game, it's based off the fact that he has been in the league several years and has gone to the playoffs only 2 times. The Chargers have invested heavily on the offensive side of the ball to give Herbert weapons. Multiple first round picks used on wide receivers and the offensive line. When he was drafted by them they already had big time weapons in Ekeler and Allen. As a fan of Josh (as we all are) and have had to defend him from criticsm for years, I think it is more than fair that it is now time during this offseason for Herbert to face his fair share of criticism. The guy has somehow escaped it ever since he came into the league, and I hope people are finally starting to see what I've been seeing for a while

Russell Wilson threw for 250 yards in the second half yesterday…the Bills can put up points on that defense
-
They literally said the day he signed that he knew what he was signing up for. There were no promises made, he was signed to the PS not the active roster, and my guess is that you would’ve crushed both Hyde and the Bills if he did in fact play and got burned a couple of times
-
As I mentioned in my OP, I think he is really talented. That being said, he should not be above criticism and for some reason he largely is. Outside of perhaps Mahomes, go through any QB other than Herbert who most would say are, let’s say, the top 8 QBs in the league and they all get criticized. Herbert has gone to the playoffs twice, lost both games, has missed the playoffs several times, so I don’t understand why he gets to skate by
-
Absolutely people do/did. All offseason he was very much in the discussion of being in the top 5. I’m not saying I agree with that, clearly I don’t, but he is always mentioned as a top guy. Same with Stroud, but his team won so I will hold off on him for now
-
Yea he was-I didn’t see him during the game but I saw a bunch of pics and videos of him in the sideline before the game. Him and Dell were both there
-
Watching this game should let us all know how lucky we are to have Josh on our team. Herbert is unbelievably talented, but it’s pretty obvious he doesn’t have “it”. Somehow year after year this guy has avoided criticism, so if there isn’t a “Herbert is overrated” club I would like to officially start it. To me, the difference between what Josh brings to the table and what Herbert does is the size of the Grand Canyon. If there is anyone who still thinks Herbert is a top 5 QB, please let me know what you see in him, because he’s not the guy

If the Chargers don’t win, Herbert better start getting criticized finally in his career. He is unbelievably talented, but he’s just not THE guy

If you read the other thread about Cooper, people were definitely questioning him I wonder if any of them are going to eat crow publicly about what they said....I'm guessing no

Playoffs are Here! Be Courteous to and Cautious of DEBBIE Downers
Ya Digg? replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve said it many times on here before-the negative posters look at these situations as a win win. If the Bills win, nobody cares what they said, they don’t get held accountable and they get to celebrate with everyone else. If the Bills lose, there are some in here who get to say “I told you so” and to them that is more important than the team actually having success -
It was a meaningless week 18 game, one that he hardly would’ve played in, calm down. Also, football is a game, it’s literally just a game. Nobody is owed any sort of explanation at all
-
What the over/under on how many replies it takes before some a**hole is legit pissed at Cooper, calling him overpriced/bad teammate, etc
