11/5/23 Week #9 SNF GAMEDAY Bills @ Bengals Pregame Thread
Ya Digg? replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Bills need to play a Bengals type game on offense-dunk and dunk all the way down the field. Eat up the clock, make the Bengals have to take chances. Josh has shown he is extremely effective with that short game. It’s gonna be a tough game, but it won’t be one decided on the first 2 drives of the game. McDermott has shown repeatedly he knows how to adjust as the game goes. Think about that Miami game-after 2 drives everyone thought it was going to be a 50-49 game. Once he figured out how to adjust Miami did nothing the rest of the game. I think the same happens here -
NFL Scheduler Really Hated the Bills this Year
Ya Digg? replied to IronyAbounds's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe every team has to play at least 1 home game in Europe every 8 years or something like that. Jerry is powerful, but the other owners aren’t going to let him not have to give up a home game while everyone else does -
NFL Scheduler Really Hated the Bills this Year
Ya Digg? replied to IronyAbounds's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love these threads, especially during the season. First, to think the schedule makers sat around and said “how can we make this really tough on the Bills and only them-let’s get them the worst!” Second, everyone knew who the Bills were playing against and where they were playing ever since last season ended. Don’t understand why there’s such shock about it. Third, how come it’s always just complaining and no answers-what would have made this schedule any “easier?” -
Might be nitpicking here, but I don’t think that’s what this thread is about. It would be extremely unfair to judge these acquisitions, good or bad, based on what happens when they have all been with the team less than a week. Still have Philly, KC, and Miami left on the schedule
-
I disagree, the sooner Dane is off the field the better!

💯 this. At no point Thursday were they not in control, and that thread about the Hail Mary is honestly just ridiculous. So much overanalysis of the Bills and under analysis of the other teams. Makes sense, it’s a Bills forum, but still. For example, my guess is most posters don’t know that Mahomes has as many interceptions as Josh does. This year it seems more than ever that all of the top teams have been wildly inconsistent…a couple of them just happened to have pulled out more wins than the Bills have. Gonna be a tough game this week, no doubt, but to say the Bills have no shot is pretty disingenuous

What Miami game did you watch? After their first 2 drives they did absolutely nothing and the Bills basically put up 50 on them

You’re sweating? With 10 weeks to go in the season??

NFL Trade Deadline Oct 31 - Rumored List of Players Available
Ya Digg? replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
But his teams haven’t shown up in their biggest, toughest games since he has become the head coach -
Yeah that, or, and hear me out on this, he is good enough to make the roster but isn’t good enough to play over the guys in front of him. Unless your against having guys on cheap rookie contracts that can fill in when needed

McDaniel? What has he shown that makes him elite? He’s 0-2 against teams with winning records this year and Miami faded big time the second half of last year when teams figured him out. If he’s elite, what terms are you using for the coaches who are above him, McDermott included -
I’ve read it-you said fire Dorsey and bring in a new OC-am I missing something? Can you at least make a suggestion of who they should bring in?
-
Did you? What did you offer that was “deeper?”
-
Who are you making inactive so those guys can be active? it’s not modified sports, there aren’t rules that say every guy has to play

Was Elam ok or could the Giants just not take advantage of him?
Ya Digg? replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
I may very well be in the minority, but I would much rather see Elam out on the field than Jackson. Jackson does not provide much in my opinion. He gives such a large cushion he is practically begging the opposing QB to complete 8-10 yard passes. I would rather see Elam out there and have a chance of stopping some receivers right at the line of scrimmage -
This is nothing but recency bias. He was playing really well before he got injured last year, AND Groot was playing better because if it. You’re angry he got activated probably before he should have, I get that but people really weren’t saying this before his injury. He impacted several games last season

If you are the owner and you decide to get rid of one

Why is Allen even in this list? Aren’t there enough who is to blame threads going on right now? -
10/22/23 GAMEDAY Bills at Pats* Pregame Thread
Ya Digg? replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well aren’t you just a bowl of sunshine this morning-MOST people will be surprised if the Bills lost today. There is not a position group on the field where the Pats are better. I know hyperbole around here is a lot of fun, but you really missed the mark here -
Simms: Gabe Davis is a good player, but he's not a number two
Ya Digg? replied to SydneyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I do understand that part of it. He certainly wouldn’t get nearly as many targets on those teams -

Ya Digg? replied to SydneyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you honestly think he wouldn’t make those rosters, or are you speaking fanatically? Miami had Hill and Waddle and nobody else, 49ers have Samuel and Aiyuk and nobody else -
He had 10 incompletions the entire game-you’re saying he had 7 of them in that 4th quarter? Provide a link to the stats you have for that 4th quarter
