  1. It would send Sherfield way before Harty
  2. Needs to apologize to the league?? That’s going a little too far. He’s going to get a fine this week, he will talk in his presser on Wednesday about it, say it was heat if the moment and try to walk things back, then everyone will move on. Guys get mad all the time. This is exactly why I disagree so much with people on here who say Josh NEEDS to get in his teammates faces. The yelling, tantrums, and outbursts don’t make a great leader. I’ll take how Josh handles things over an embarrassing meltdown any day
  3. I hate this “yeah, but” thinking. The Bucs game argument is such an asinine, ridiculous argument to say the Bills were “gifted” the win because the guy didn’t turn around. Give me a break. As far as yesterday is concerned, outside of the one play everyone is talking about, the defense DID close out that game without “extreme levels of drama” if you wanted to call those gifted or lucky wins then fine, but then make sure you realize that every good team in the league also has 2-3 of those this season as well
  4. It doesn’t have to always be mutually exclusive, both things can happen. Their pass rush was great AND the line played terribly
  5. The 3rd and 1 pass to McKinnon drove me nuts! Why was Dodson nowhere near the line, that was his guy!!
  6. This is the wrong logic to have. Yes Diggs has struggled lately, but Shakir is great for the role he has right now. Diggs is still more capable of making the tougher catches and I don’t think Shakir would be able to handle increased attention to him by opposing defenses. Right now the only future the Bills should be focused on is next week and through the end of the season, and Diggs is still a main cog in that
  7. According to some on here that’s the only way you can show leadership and that you’re a competitor though 🤦‍♂️
  8. Couple of things - he was an entire body in front of anyone else on the Chiefs. You have to line up behind the football, he very clearly was not. If it was an inch they wouldn't have called it. Second, they finally win a close game and you still think they can't win close games? That doesn't make any sense. Does it make up for the other games this year that they should've closed out but didn't? No, but this game has to help any fan's confidence that the Bills can win the close ones
  9. It’s a 5th round pick, total crapshoot. Clearly if any team thought he would be this good, he would’ve been taken in the first/second round. I’m not sure questioning 5th round picks is really worth the energy, that’s all
  10. Come on this is such a lame argument-cool, their throw at the dartboard is better than the Bills throw at the dartboard…why be upset about it?
  11. Hey man you do what you gotta do-I assume this means goodbye then, because if you aren’t watching any games any more there’s no need for you to post on here. Have a great life!!
  12. That call they got 100% right. Intentional or not, Greenlaw hit a person who isn’t even a player in the face-yes he barely touched him, but still hit him. He has to be able to control himself better when he was the one who initiated everything in the first place with his duplex of Smith. The security guard had no business getting involved so his ejection was correct too. As far as you not watching-yes you will, you won’t stop watching. You’re on a Buffalo Bills message board creating a thread about a game the Bills aren’t even involved with-you’re not going anywhere
  13. That’s what they already have been doing. Need to do better than pray that a 4th or 5th rounder eventually works out
  14. Yeah and he scored a TD before the end of regulation that should’ve won it too…or does that not fit your narrative here? He gave the Bills the lead TWICE on his last 2 possessions, it’s weird that people want to pin the loss on him
  15. It’s still an interception though. Not really a fan of “just think of it as an arm punt” NO, it’s an interception. You hardly ever see other QBs throw “arm punts.” The Hail Mary interception was a stupid throw the other week. As soon as the play broke down, he should’ve just ran for 15 yards and taken the game to half. If the narrative of him not being interception prone is going to go away, then stop with the unnecessary interceptions
  16. Sorry, gotta disagree with you here. Cam knocks that ball down, which he easily could/should have, game over. I believe it was then the next game (or shortly after) where he almost lost the Bills another game I still vomit in my mouth every time I see that dude on the field.
  17. So regarding the “melon farmer” what else do you want him to do?! Aside from cutting down on turnovers, what else can he do? In 3 of their losses, he did what he was supposed to do-he gave the team the lead late in the game. If the defense actually holds a team, they are 9-3 and this discussion isn’t happening. His cap hit is huge next year, honestly who cares? Arizona, chargers, ravens, broncos, etc all will have bigger cap hits for the QB next year and I would much rather have our guy. That being said, I can’t complain too much about anything else you said. They have done a pretty poor job, outside of linebacker, of having young cheap replacements who are ready to step in…that’s also on McDermott for not actually playing these guys and figuring out what you have
  18. Even so, him not “trying any more” is still better than anything else the Bills have and better than like 80-85% of the receivers in the league I understand the frustration that everyone has, I have it to, but to want to drive the best player on the team out of Buffalo is crazy
  19. These statements baffle me - “get what you can” NO YOU DON’T GET WHAT YOU CAN FOR A CLEAR WR1 if a team puts together an impressive offer then sure you entertain it, but you’re not trading him for just anything. I’m assuming you want to get rid of McDermott as well (which is fine) but you presumably want your new coach to start his time in Buffalo with no viable weapons at the WR position?
  20. You’re going to blame the guy who had 450+ yards of offense??
  21. Someone else had mentioned Bass not being great this year-is there something I’m missing? He missed the extra point, but I feel he’s been pretty solid this year, no?
  22. I did-you mention a team the Bills don’t even play all season and 2 teams they haven’t played yet. I get that you’re looking at the better teams they have played, but to me the point you’re trying to make just doesn’t land
  23. I honestly don’t even understand what that first part even means. The Bills don’t even play the Vikings, put up 50 against the dolphins, and haven’t played the other 2 yet. I actually think this year the def is NOT overrated for once. They have been decimated by injuries but are still holding teams under 20 ppg. Yes they gave up terrible game ending drives in 2 losses, so maybe that’s where your overrated statement comes from. Its very possible the Bills need 30+ on Sunday, but the Eagles are not the juggernaut your statement is attempting to convey
  24. These bigger game halftime shows aren’t for people like us. The NFL gives less than zero F’s if guys generally 30+ years old who comment on message boards like the halftime show. My guess is there are plenty of women (the demographic they’re actually targeting) were completely fine with it unfortunately
  25. Wish I could give 2 reactions to this! This might be the most truthful thing ever said on this board!!!
