Let's be honest, Josh probably has 5 good seasons left
Ya Digg? replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
So in a year where EVERYONE said they would be rebuilding, would be no better than 3rd in their division, would be lucky to make the playoffs…turn that into dominant saying the division, make the AFC championship game, and Josh wins MVP. A year in which they far exceeded expectations… You feel this low about the team?? -
If this is a distraction to the team that’s more in the other players, has very little to nothing to do with Cook. He’s not a diva, he’s not a distraction, this is a tactic used by a lot of guys in the league to get paid. For such a large group of supposedly rugged and tough guys, guys who want things to be like the “olden days” y’all get so worked up over instagram posts and jersey combos

Shakir, Benford, Cook and Bernard: Who Gets a Contract Extension?
Ya Digg? replied to NoName's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well Cook was, but not now apparently because of…let me make sure I have this right….instagram I guess at least that’s what the other thread told me -
I would trade him but not because he’s a “diva” (he’s not at all, btw). I’d trade him because his value will never be higher than it is right now. The amount of disingenuous people in this thread who have all of a sudden turned on Cook because he wants to get paid are absurd. Barely a bad thing said about him all season, and now it seems every other post is equating him to Diggs

Wait I might be missing the joke, do you really think a guy drafted in the 5th round was the worst pick ever?

What are you talking about?

So you’re saying that Josh needs arguably the best receiver in the league, and if it was up to you, you would choose the best receiver in the league over a guy who might not even be top 10?

And the award for worst take since the playoff game goes to….

We are currently negative 2.5 mill in cap space for 2025
Ya Digg? replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not saying in hindsight it wouldn’t have been a good deal, but the Bills probably would’ve lost that pick in a trade to get Thomas, so they wouldn’t have it -
That’s very true, my point was more against your “winnable” games statement
-
This year they really only lost 3 games-most years that gets you the 1 seed. I’m not going to say that 2 road games against division winners are the easiest games

Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
Ya Digg? replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m not normally a blame the refs guy, but they definitely played a huge role in the loss today. Several times they marked the ball short, the Worthy incompletion (will never call that a catch), the multiple penalties on the punt return. The refs were abysmal- 818 replies

We don’t, we literally don’t need to know.

So every coach in the league played in the league (hint: they haven’t)? And you’re right, he never actually played in the league but did have stints with several teams-Seahawks, Steelers, and Saints Once again, knowledge and talent to do it are not the same thing.
-
What does playing at OSU have anything to do with coaching NFL QBs? Knowledge of how to do/coach something is different from having the talent to do it. The guy played in the league, he understands what to do
-
This is a really bad take….im guessing you’re a Michigan fan?
-
He might feel bad about the season, but he doesn’t feel “empty” by his coordinators taking head coaching jobs. Why would he?
