Yes, but all the talk of "no one wants to face the Bills in the playoffs" is out the window now, right? Since, you know, they looked like garbage, and won by the skin of their teeth against an inferior opponent.
The sad reality is that they came within inches of being "the same old Bills." The "they're hot and steamrolling into the playoffs" is just a pipe dream now. Likely one and done.
Bring on the blinders wearing homer thumbs downs and red Xs. LOL
This is the epitome of “I only watch highlights of other teams but scrutinize everything the Bills do.”
Saying no one wants to face them doesn’t mean they are going to the Super Bowl, but they won’t be an easy out. You’re just having an easy reaction to a tough win. Maybe that makes you feel better if they do lose in the playoffs, I don’t know, but every team that’s about to be in the playoffs has ugly wins on their resume. I’ll take an ugly win every day of the week-it’s the NFL, every team can win on any day

Many of you are missing the point. You’re right, he probably won’t get $15 million, but I doubt he even had the intention of actually getting that much. My guess is this is an early negotiating tactic by him and his agent-good chance this will get him more than what he would’ve gotten otherwise

At least 3/4. Diggs had one, or maybe two. And Davis was wide open at one point, but got lost on a football field somehow. No wonder he doesn't get anymore targets.
Oh Gabe-just another disappointing performance. Was talking with a couple of friends and we were all really angry that Gabe really did nothing on that deep ball to him. Yes it was under thrown, but he didn’t fight to try and slow up to catch it or draw a PI. It barely landed behind him too, seemed like a really poor effort

Should be in the MVP conversation with Brock Purdy thenSomeone needs to explain to me how Purdy is even in the conversation. He’s not even the MVP of his own team (you might even make the argument he is third on his team behind CMC and Deebo) but he’s the favorite for league MVP?? How does that make sense?

Dude if you're 34 you are the epitome of millenial still living at home in your mom's basement. Clearly I struck a nerve with a joke - relax buddy. I know it's a big time today, everyone is tightly wound...didn't realize the meme would get you so bad. Take a xanax or whatever you need to calm down, enjoy the game, and Go Bills!

Yeah, because nothing says football like playing in an antiseptic dome. I personally love the sound of HVAC systems humming in the background. If the Bills need to play indoors, they have a problem.

This can't be right, we're not playing in KC!!
The irony is the one year we play the AFC west opponent at home, high likelihood we won't be in the same position in the standings as KC so don't play them in Buffalo.
So the Bills get the AFCW at home the next 2 years, so there’s still a good chance at least 2 out of the next 3 played against the chiefs will be in Buffalo

How did they come up with that rule? If you’re going backwards, you’re likely losing yards so let’s penalize you some more.I noticed that other dumb rule again, where refs, NY or whoever decide to review a play in the last 2 minutes of a half. When they’re done, the team with the ball gets penalized by either having 10 seconds run off the clock or use a timeout. They could be at the goal line with less than 10 seconds left in the half and no timeouts, the refs decide to review the play and it’s “Sorry the half/game is over”
26 minutes ago, Orlando Tim said:That actually happened in a UCF game vs USF not that long ago, USF was driving for a tying TD at end of game and they reviewed something with less than 10 seconds. It might have been whether they got a 1st on 4th down but at the end of the day the review meant game was over either way.
It happened to the Lions a couple of years ago too. Right at the goal line to win the game. If I remember correctly they even were stopped from spiking the ball to stop the clock. Instead replay happened, they did a 10 second run off but since it was under 10 seconds left the game ended

Hes never won in Ot
he has chances to score tds and there’s wide open guys and he’s missing / miscommunications w his wrs
he doesn’t make the routine plays well enough/ consistently
sure he’s super man at times
Jake Browning won in overtime today, that doesn’t make him more clutch than Josh

I actually think , OF ALL the teams in afc to take down the nfc (niners) Already beat them - it’s CIN. they play a more reproducible brand of winning football. And they have 3 stud WRs. And elite coaches. One of the most important metrics for Super Bowl appearance is WR2. They’re the best.
Bills are too up and down and choke. I still don’t trust McD or Allen in crunch time. They’re 0-7 in OT. Allen has too many miscommunications at end of game w WRs
Lamar won't be able to pass to victory in playoffs
Dolphins. lol
Chiefs offense - OL is way worse this year
McD I get, but explain why you don’t trust Josh. Dude averages 300 yards in the playoffs and had better than a 4-1 td to interception ratio.
Not only that, but Josh has given the Bills the lead on his final possession 3 times this year in games they have lost…why isn’t there trust in Josh?

The Cam Lewis that got burned nonstop last year when he had to start, and gave the NFL the highlight of the year on the Jefferson catch? That Cam Lewis?

Don’t forget, he’s also the guy who a week or two later had a ridiculously stupid roughing the kicker penalty that almost cost the Bills another game…but yeah, can’t wait to see him out on the field 🤮🤮🤮

Man I've got that Josh is going to throw a couple picks feeling if Josh goes after him. Hope I'm wrong.
The guy also gets torched many games too-he can be fooled with a couple of double moves. Have some friends who are cowboys fans and to be honest they don’t really like the guy. Yes he gets turnovers but he gives up huge plays (very similar to Diggs). If he was a great corner, teams wouldn’t throw at him as much as they do

My guess is he’ll be traded in the off-season for anything Bills can get.
He’s worth more than “anything the Bills can get” why would you trade him when he’s at his absolute lowest value? He’s on a rookie contract, there’s no reason to trade him in the off-season for nothing, keep him, see if he has something, and then if you need to move on in training camp there is always an injury and teams are looking for guys-you’ll have more value then

LOL. Yeah. Leave him on practice squad.
Puka Nacua - Round 5. Leave him on PS too.
Montrell Washington, Kyle Philips, Simi Fehoko, Cornell Powell, Joe Rees, Colin Johnson….all taken in the 5th round in the last couple of years. Ever heard of any of them? Me neither. But cool you named the one good 5th round receiver in the last several years

Serious. A guy that languished on our practice squad (had some injuries) but we moved forward with geriatrics like Beasley and others leaving him snapped up by Giants. Look at Hodgins’ stats…I’d say he’s a valuable player. If Shorter is ready, let’s go!
Hodgins has 17 catches this year and is buried on the depth chart of a team that has no receivers. I get it, people saw him score a couple of touchdowns last year, but he gets no YAC and wouldn’t be doing much of anything in Buffalo either. He’s not a valuable player

You guys remember Isaiah Hodgins? Tall, fast and productive WR for Giants last year and this year.
Give him a chance. Or ship him to Giants.
I have no idea if this is sarcastic or serious

Mahomes is complete trash and needs to apologize to the league after that outburst. It’s okay to be frustrated but now that he’s seen the replay he has to come out and say something publicly. There’s NO WAY the ref has any idea what was going to happen downfield on that play. He throws the flag immediately, on the snap.
Needs to apologize to the league?? That’s going a little too far. He’s going to get a fine this week, he will talk in his presser on Wednesday about it, say it was heat if the moment and try to walk things back, then everyone will move on. Guys get mad all the time.
This is exactly why I disagree so much with people on here who say Josh NEEDS to get in his teammates faces. The yelling, tantrums, and outbursts don’t make a great leader. I’ll take how Josh handles things over an embarrassing meltdown any day

The two earlier one-score wins were gifted to the Bills, more or less. We beat the Giants despite not being penalized for a blatant DPI in the end zone at the end fo the game, and we beat the Bucs but could have lost if the Bucs WR had turned to see where their Hail Mary was going.
Today's win was a big deal for many reasons, not least because it will maybe get the monkey off the Bills back about losing close games.
7 hours ago, DabillsDaBillsDaBills said:You don't consider Toney lining up Offside as a gift ?
Broncos also gifted us a win when they missed a 41 yard FG. Unfortunately we returned the gift and gave them another shot with the 12 men penalty
Would be nice to see our defense close out a 1 score game without such extreme levels of drama
I hate this “yeah, but” thinking. The Bucs game argument is such an asinine, ridiculous argument to say the Bills were “gifted” the win because the guy didn’t turn around. Give me a break. As far as yesterday is concerned, outside of the one play everyone is talking about, the defense DID close out that game without “extreme levels of drama”
if you wanted to call those gifted or lucky wins then fine, but then make sure you realize that every good team in the league also has 2-3 of those this season as well

It doesn’t have to always be mutually exclusive, both things can happen. Their pass rush was great AND the line played terribly

The 3rd and 1 pass to McKinnon drove me nuts! Why was Dodson nowhere near the line, that was his guy!!

Exactly. Our supposed top 2 WR’s did nothing positive tonight. The drop off in Diggs play the second half of the season has been staggering. He is never open anymore. And he looks like he could care less out there.
Right now Shakir is our most explosive WR. We need to be feeding him Kincaid and Cook. They are the future of this offense w some nice additions at WR in the offseason.
But big time kudos to the defense stepping up at the end. We have a pulse! Next week against Dallas should be another big time game! Let’s go Buffalo.
This is the wrong logic to have. Yes Diggs has struggled lately, but Shakir is great for the role he has right now. Diggs is still more capable of making the tougher catches and I don’t think Shakir would be able to handle increased attention to him by opposing defenses. Right now the only future the Bills should be focused on is next week and through the end of the season, and Diggs is still a main cog in that

Sometimes I forget how fortunate we are. It’s easy, over time, to become comfortable with something/someone being in your life or on your team.
But my goodness, name another QB who could deal with the constant onslaught he saw today. Nonstop blitzes, most of which were never picked up by our own line. Constantly avoiding defenders and avoiding sacks. The list of QB’s not named Allen who could have done what he did today is very very short.
And i’ve never ever seen his flip out like a gigantic crybaby like Mahomes did after the game.
According to some on here that’s the only way you can show leadership and that you’re a competitor though 🤦♂️

Game of inches.
We got very lucky, though. The usual issues did present themselves - but we got bailed out by a receiver who was an inch into the neutral zone.
A W is a W, but it doesn't alleviate my trepidation in close games.
Couple of things - he was an entire body in front of anyone else on the Chiefs. You have to line up behind the football, he very clearly was not. If it was an inch they wouldn't have called it.
Second, they finally win a close game and you still think they can't win close games? That doesn't make any sense. Does it make up for the other games this year that they should've closed out but didn't? No, but this game has to help any fan's confidence that the Bills can win the close ones
