I have always heard it from the Bills perspective. I also think that the last two Bills Super Bowls had some of the same mental dynamics (e.g. in the playoffs the Bills felt unbeatable but in the Super Bowl they were waiting for the other shoe to drop). The Oilers in the playoffs, including this game, just seemed to find a way to lose .. they were deflated while still in the lead.

To be clear .. many people are pro-vaccine in general (thank goodness for the polio vaccine) but uncertain about one that was done in record time .. by a country mile. If they pick up a DT at this point it would be on the cheap and that person would fight for a job .. Butler could be cut after training camp if beaten out. That is the process. If they bring in a DT it is more likely to be Kawann Short as he checks all the boxes .. knew Beane, knew McDermott, process guy, was Carolina Panther, lived in the Tar Heel State, would likely sign a prove it deal, knows the words to the Panthers fight song, and knows the best restaurants in Charlotte

I was actually trying to explain why Harbaugh changed from very passive to very aggressive and my guess is McDermott would be less aggressive if he did not have a lumberjack for a QB. I could be wrong, but I suspect I am not.

It really comes down to the QB .. John Harbaugh goes for it all the time now because he has Lamar and not Joe Flacco. Josh gets a yard and a half just by falling forward and good luck stopping him from that. If Josh gets hurt, McDermott would almost certainly be less aggressive.

I also wonder if more of Josh's turnover worthy plays that are not turnovers are due to how hard he throws. I would think it would take some getting used to. If you are not expecting the ball to get there so hard and so quickly I could see "drops" by DBs.

I think if we take a step back and consider it in the lens of … just next season … obviously if it were the next 15 years Brady and Rodgers would be much lower, then top 6 feels right. You may value his upside more, others may favor the consistency of a Wilson. Still not buying their stuff, but seems fair

He was very complimentary. Aquib Talib asked him in the video at the 44 minute mark who was the biggest offensive trash talker .. and without hesitation he said Josh Allen was talking big noise and big “s...” but thought it was cool because not disrespectful just cares about winning.
