  1. So he is the brother of the old Syracuse Quarterback many wanted the Bills to draft when Marrone was coach (Ryan Nassib). Fortunately we did not let old relationships get in the way and drafted EJ Manual in the 1st round ...
  2. So what your saying is Yolo scooped NBC Nightly News ..
  3. I think that is true of most of these guys. Click bait gets revenue. However, he has been pretty decent at picking the NFL draft quarterbacks over the last few years .. and he had some good takes .. turnover-worthy play criticism - he throws more; how do you count if he threads a needle and gets a completion but it looks like a defender is close is that turnover worthy, perhaps how hard he throws makes it harder for defenders who are not used to it to intercept him, ...)
  4. He heavily debated which to put at 2 and which at 3, but landed with Josh getting the 2nd spot. Felt he could easily have been MVP as he makes more game changing plays.
  5. Regulators Podcast @RegulatorsPod Top 5 catch rates in the #NFL last year 1. Jonathan Taylor: 92.3% 2. Jamaal Williams: 88.6% 3. Isaiah McKenzie: 88.2% 4. Robert Tonyan: 88.1% 5. Myles Gaskin: 87.2% *Minimum 30 targets #Colts #Packers #Bills #Dolphins =========== at first this surprised me, but he does catch a lot of quick hitters and I don’t recall him dropping many
  6. As stated below I am pro-vaccine (my daughter is in the medical field)… but I very much worry when the government mandates pretty much anything. It is a slippery slope. Not everyone gets any vaccine.. religious reasons, etc
  7. My wife and daughter both felt sick for a day after the first shot .. my daughter is in the medical field so she got it early and has had no other problems
  8. WOW … just WOW. Nothing ever bad comes from the government feeling they have the power to dictate people’s lives … maybe we can mandate sterilization.. oh wait we did that in the 1900s as we wanted to eliminate the less desirable based on eugenics .. it was so successful that the Nazi party sent representatives to California to determine how the system worked https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugenics_in_the_United_States
  9. I was just joking about NY.. I am from the Rochester area .. from May to October it is one of the nicest places to visit .. summer in the Finger Lakes region is hard to beat. However I was pointing out that access is only an issue if it is allowed to be at least in the US
  10. You must be from NY … in uncivilized West Virginia where we surprisingly don’t pay 90% of our income in taxes you can go online at any time and make an appointment for the next day at any pharmacy.
  11. I think part of the problem is when you get the vaccine is stated it is unapproved and the fact that it was turned around in a very short timeframe makes people concerned as they question if it was tested enough .. but as of now our population has in a sense tested them and there have been very little in the way of side effects. I am fine if people get the vaccine and fine if they don’t. If someone gets very sick from COVID and they didn’t get the vaccine that is on them .. but let them live or die for that matter as they choose.
  12. Agree that Josh has the better upside .. also agree that it is too early to say that Josh will be definitively better than Lamar. Maybe Lamar goes the RGIII route, but more likely he remains a scary quarterback (who wants to be better) in a really good organization that will keep him as protected as possible. Glad we have Josh but lamar deserves the accolades he has received.
  13. The Eagles will likely get 2 - 6th round picks (2022 and 2023) or the like for Ertz from a team like the Panthers who need a Darnold safety valve. His cost is too high and his production has dropped to give more
  14. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/josh-allen-2021-outlook-evaluating-the-bills-qb-and-how-he-can-sustain-mvp-level-play-in-year-4/ Other quarterbacks he has looked at: Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, Kyler Murray, Drew Lock, Daniel Jones, Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, Sam Darnold In general, very positive with some good analysis. Posted the wrong link originally .. thanks for pointing it out eball
  15. If I were a betting man .. I think Hollister makes the team as the #2 or #3 TE (depending on Ertz) and Gentry misses the cut but lands on the Practice Squad. He would be ideal for that since he could go from PS to line-up with already having a connection with Josh where as most PS WRs will have little exposure to Josh and vice-versa.
  16. Some interesting tidbits on their Wyoming days but especially about Josh's going to bat for them. It is a bit of a slippery slope as when someone is cut the questions about whether Josh went to bat for some other player will come up (John Brown wondering whether the FO asked Josh about keeping him), but it is an interesting comparison to GBay who does not listen to Aaron Rodgers on player decisions. A couple of other nuggets: Josh feels Tanner Gentry has the strongest hands of a WR he has worked with They have great chemistry (i.e., he knows where they will be on the field) https://www.wyomingnews.com/wyosports/university_of_wyoming/football/josh-allen-tanner-gentry-jacob-hollister-basking-in-reunion-with-bills/article_2d14960d-b0e2-57fb-b191-73882535da2d.html
  17. Took me a couple of seconds to find one example .. here you go: https://www.wivb.com/sports/giants-provide-bulletin-board-material-for-bills/ "On video boards throughout the team’s training facility are the tweet that makes mention of Shurmur’s remarks from NFL Network Reporter Kim Jones. Kim Jones @KimJonesSports ep 11, 2019" Pat Shurmur said before 2018 draft, #NYG thought QB Josh Allen “had a chance to be a starter” in the NFL. Seems like a pretty low bar.... so I followed up. Shurmur repeated the line. BUFvsNYG on Sunday. When asked about the quote on the TVs throughout the facility, Bills head coach Sean McDermott called it “internal messaging.” So I would say yes to your question. I would "assume" that if I looked I could find more as I know I have heard the players after games refer to such things.
  18. I love this board .. you post something and people miraculously know how you are feeling and thinking... I was not "set off" at all by what Kelce said. I stated above I think the Brownies are good and are one of 6 teams that I could see representing the AFC with the Chiefs (not the Bills - before I am labeled a homer) as the clear cut favorite. My only point was McDermott will use it as bulletin board fodder. If you disagree with that then sweet, if you want to chat about how you think the Browns will or will not be a competitor for the AFC fine. If you want to psychoanalyze your fellow posters .. well you kind of stink at it.
  19. I think there are 6 teams that could get on a run and represent the AFC (Baltimore, Buffalo, Cleveland, Indy, KC, and Tennessee) with KC the clear favorite. My only point was McDermott will likely add this to the bulletin board. As for Cleveland being closer a) Mahomes missed a large part of that game which was obviously significant; and b) you can’t use 1 game as a trend.
  20. Pot meet kettle .. try not to be one of those insufferable people who read too much into a post. I agree if he was at aBills players event he might have said the same thing about the Bills .. and I still think McDermott will use it. You may disagree .. congrats .. maybe you are right and maybe you are wrong .. but in either case take something for your stress. Clearly this impacted you in a negative way 🤦‍♂️
  21. He can see them and the Chiefs going back and forth in the playoffs in the meantime McDermott is posting this in 200 font Times New Roman on the bulletin board. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/06/13/travis-kelce-browns-are-contenders-neck-and-neck-with-chiefs-in-the-afc/#comments
  22. In practice today it appears he hit a helmet .. there was enough concern that the checked for a break .. there are none, but they are monitoring. Probably no impact 3 months out other than reducing his time working with his teammates. Given he had little time with them last year I am certain they wanted to take advantage of the return of OTAs and mini-camp. now for the real question.. if his hand was broken would that really change anything .. they were Buffalo Bill hell years bad at passing last year. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/06/04/report-cam-newtons-hand-is-not-broken-but-he-is-undergoing-more-tests/
  23. It is a low blow to use his actual words at the time to ruin his current narrative. You are better than this.
  24. For those of us who are sick enough to watch anything Bills related ..even OTAs .. here is 4 minutes of scenes from OTAs. I think me watching this says more about me than it does about any of the players .. but for the other diehards 4 minutes of OTAs is at least some football
