  1. Discusses the leap, off-season training, growth, keeping your head on straight. Nice interview. "In the league there are guys that figure it out, and guys that get figured out"
  2. Got me thinking … a dangerous pastime I know. not the Defense but a great nickname for the offensive line would be the “Shnow Plows”
  3. Obviously not to the level of Chucky, but it does go to the topic of trust in media and in this case sports media. https://clutchpoints.com/espn-nfl-guru-adam-schefters-wild-email-to-bruce-allen-leaked-amid-jon-gruden-debacle/
  4. In fairness, in 2019 Bills fans would have jumped on board doing that for Star .. never has a year off changed people's feelings toward a player so much.
  5. This is the Tennessee Injury list per CBS Sports .. it is a bloodbath. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/TEN/tennessee-titans/injuries/ One underrated aspect of being successful is being healthy. I was always amazed that in spite of playing on concrete the early 90s Bills were remarkably a healthy team. The same is true of this iteration of the Bills going back to at least 2018 it seems. The Bills Training staff deserves a ton of credit.
  6. Practice Squad Players protected for this week: OL Jamil Douglas CB Cam Lewis DB Josh Thomas https://billswire.usatoday.com/2021/10/13/buffalo-bills-protected-practice-squad-week-6-tennessee-titans/
  7. I would trade Vernon Butler if you can get something for him. He is a UDFA after this season and has been one of 2 DT inactive for the last few weeks. When he played he was marginal but has a name as a former 1st round pick. Other than that .. I would be hesitant to make changes.
  8. Because per Section 2.4.7.17 of the TDB code of conduct, you cannot have a trade thread without mentioning this person https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/nfl-trade-rumors-eagles-zach-ertz-could-be-dealt-colts-bills-interested per Philadelphia's NBC Sports site from 11 hrs ago As for me, I would pass on anything other than a Cornerback
  9. I was stunned by that game. It basically destroyed a lot of narratives. Lamar did nothing in the first half and then when they were way down they started to let him throw and he was throwing lasers. In my opinion that second half should get him AFC Offensive Player of the week. he was crazy good. One caveat, the Colts were down to 3 CBs available and one was a Practice Squad guy. It will be very interesting to see if Roman decides or is forced to take the training wheels off that offense .. especially given their defense looked really bad.
  10. This must be fake news as Chris Collinsworth on the broadcast indicated taking bad sacks was a bad issue that Josh has to get past. I am soooo confused :). The TD to Dawson Knox is a great example where he keeps things alive and makes a great play.
  11. Actually .. if you ignore the final 3 kneel-down snaps as I indicated (Cole is never in on those and those snaps are irrelevant for this discussion) it is actually 40.7%. Not certain why 39 or 40.7 matter to you as they are in the same ballpark .. but the math as I laid out it 40.7%. Further Jake has been in on 40 snaps over the first 5 games for an average of 8 per game, so technically he got less than his normal .. so maybe that just indicates they were doing some different things as McDermott stated. Isaiah and Gabe Davis were also under their average for the year. In the last two games we have thrown far less. In fact Josh has thrown a total of 56 passes in the last 2 games combined only 5 more than the 51 times Josh threw in week 1 when Cole had 91% of the snaps. Maybe Cole is in the McDermott Dog house , or maybe we are just trying to find ways to paint it that way when in fact it is just game plan specific. We shall see. 12. Maybe if we discuss like a Math Proof 1) Winning SB is the goal 2) A strong defensive performance increases a team' odds of winning games 3) Winning Games is essential to make the playoffs 4) You can't win the Super Bowl without making the playoffs 5) The more wins you get the better your odds of playing less playoff games (bye) and playing in front of crowds that will make it hard on the opponent. Therefore a strong defensive performance indicates you will likely win more which gives you a higher percentage chance of making the playoffs and perhaps getting a valuable bye / home-field advantage which increases your chance to make it to the Super Bowl .. and if you are in the Super Bowl you can win it, especially if you have a great defense. Thank you OP .. good information!
  13. Cole had more snaps than Kumerow and Gabe Davis combined (22 for Cole; 14 for Gabe; 7 for Kumerow). Isaiah had 8 snaps. There was only 54 non-kneel-down snaps so Cole was in for over 40% of them. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2021/10/12/22720757/snap-count-notes-buffalo-bills-vs-kansas-city
  14. Well now he is going crazy against a really beaten Colts secondary. I think they are down to their PS players .. but in fairness he is doing a great job of taking advantage.
  15. No .. his knee was not down .. I reminded me of our play .. Lamar only half-tried to make the play to tackle the defender.
  16. Lamar Jackson is killing it tonight. Over 72% completion rate. Sure he barely hit 100 yds in the first half and led the team to a single FG .. but 72%.
  17. Gruden asked Derek Carr if people could park on his lawn for the Yard Sale Chucky is about to have. Carr is organizing a community group to help Gruden pack up. Image of Derek carr when the news was broken to him
  18. Per espn Per multiple sources he resigned after additional emails surfaced. https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/news/jon-gruden-resigning-as-las-vegas-raiders-head-coach
  19. I must have missed it on the broadcast .. perhaps Chris Collinsworth stated it and I tuned out his blathering, but 14 straight weeks of a halftime lead the longest in the history of the NFL .. nice.
  20. why confuse things with factual data .. innuendo and rumor mongering is a much more effective means of communication.
  21. Per profootballnetwork rankings Rousseau has moved up to #9 in Defensive Rookie of the Year odds. His stats are surprisingly close to Micah Parsons and JOK while playing roughly 25% less snaps. It will be hard to beat those two as the narratives around them is strong. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-rookie-rankings-2021-nflwk-6/ They were not sold on him pre-draft as they felt he just was in the right place at the right time in college.
  22. Wow .. you know why you think he is angry and now why he closed down his social media .. how are you so knowledgeable about the thoughts of Cole Beasley .. it is incredible. Thanks for all the facts about this situation. It has been very insightful ..smh
  23. You are calling him Boosley and then talking about his 6th grade maturity? One important question - Do you know he is mad at his playing time or are you just guessing based on what the superior intellect of the interweb hacks are saying? This attacking someone without facts is what is idiotic.
