But I'm just asking from a fan's standpoint. I said from the beginning it was dumb but when it was first announced a lot of people were excited for it saying it was good to see more football etc. but from what I have been seeing on Twitter and other sources now that we are actually here it seems like most people are changing their tune and admitting an extra week of regular season football instead of jumping into the playoffs is stupid.
Where do you stand?
Of course if we get rid of that 17th game it would have been the Skins for us (a win) and the Cowboys for the Patriots (a lose) meaning the Patsies assuming we take care of the Dolphins and Jets accordingly, the Patsies would be AFC East champs. Are you a closet Patriots fan … lol 😂

Based on your post it is safe to say that you have never been or really known a homeless / transient person. Very hard life regardless if it was by poor choices, bad circumstances, or mental issues. To be that in Buffalo would be hell in the wintertime. I have done ministry with the homeless and they can be some of the kindest people you will ever meet.

There were a lot more bad weather games than last year. One of the things he needs to figure out ala Rodgers is how to alter his style in different situations

I rewatched the game and I saw three dropped passes and 1 bad int; 1 communication int; and one unlucky int that can happen sometimes. Jim Kubiak of the news broke it down much better.
the real positive from this game is it appears the team can if needed run the ball over another team ( granted this was the Falcons)

Driving from NY to Carolina Sunday morning .. the Bills fan (news report and FB post from his wife attached) stopped at a reststop and saw a domestic abuse situation and intervened. After it seemed to calm down the abuser pulled a gun and shot 4 people including the Bills fan through the back of the neck and through his jaw. Per his wife, miraculously he was cheering the Bills on later that afternoon.
i do not know the guy but this is a FB post from his wife “Yesterday, Dec 26th, at 9:30AM our world was rocked. You never think it could happen to you until the cruel, ugly, and heartbreaking reality is staring right at you. Emotions are hard to grasp and comprehend at this time - anger, sadness, confusion, fear, relief, thankful...
While traveling back home from NY to NC, Wade and I stopped at our halfway point in Winchester, VA. This rest stop was busy with families traveling South. We noticed an argument from afar between a man and woman in the parking lot. Wade and I stood in the grass with Maisel, stretching our legs as we kept an eye on the situation. Next thing we know, us and several others are sprinting across the parking lot to help this distressed woman who was taken to the ground and getting beaten by the angry man. Wade and the gentlemen were trying to calm the man down and what seemed like a controlled situation turned into our horror.
The memory of seeing my husband running for his life as the man turned to shoot, the chaos of taking cover, and fighting to find and seeing Wade will forever be with me and him.
Wade sustained a comminuted fracture to his R cheek and sinus cavity and paralysis of a facial nerve due to a gunshot wound. Bullet went behind his ear and threw his cheek.
We are thankful for the hearts of the bystanders who helped and prayed over us in that moment, first responders, and the medical staff at Winchester Medical Center. Wade had many angels watching after him. In true Wade fashion, he is making his jokes, spreading his positivity and love to everyone, and was cheering on the Buffalo Bills soon after.
Two other men and the woman in the dispute were shot, but are all well. Shooter was chased down and shot himself in his car once caught.
Thank you for the love, prayer, and support you have shown us these last 24hrs! Hug your love ones a little tighter and believe in God and in the good of others a little more. We are headed back to Charlotte this morning to begin our healing physically and emotionally. “I love you” has never meant more and so blessed we get to keep saying it and proving it to one another.”

4th down incompletion gives us better position and Hyde catches it instead of knocking it away. I initially thought that was not a smart play .. you can see in the video that Poyer questions him Hyde responds and they both start laughing. Hyde entered the game at 3 INTs and needed 5 to get a $500,000 bonus.
if you watch the video I am pretty certain that was the dialogue … good for you Micah!

@r henderson .. definitely an out of the box thought.. and it is good to think outside the box … but I suspect while physically you are correct he could fit the role, rushing the passer is a weakness for him. Plus given he made the Pro Bowl one year and is an alternate this year, his agent may balk at the switch

Strong message of: we are not very smart. With the Covid mess you need as many skilled able bodies as necessary. If Harry and Ed happened to get injured / got Covid .. does Star help us more than A street free agent. Same for those who want to cut Cole .. Isaiah Hodgins / Proehl may or may not have a future with the Bills but there is a reason Cole is a starter and they are practice squad

The possibility is there as the game day backup Feleipe Franks just went on the Covid list.
He is not very good .. so I don’t think he or Allen really care about it as it won’t change the narrative … our Josh HOF trajectory.. Rosen one of the big busts of all- time who made the talking heads look foolish

I distinctly remember Josh giving Hoyer a quick handshake .. clearly within 6 ft. I don’t understand why they do the meet and greet in the days of Covid protocols. If I were McD I would tell the coach of the other team before the game .. no offense but as soon as the game is over .. we are going right to the lockerroom
