Would now like to see a rookie drafted to pair with Hughes and Addison. Succession planning.

We had 9 picks in the draft heading into last night....there is no way we were drafting 9 players this year that were going to make the roster out of camp.
Plus you are going to have a disrupted OTA schedule that will hurt the development of a rookie WR you could take with #22. Right price at the right time for a proven receiver that consistently get separation.
To me it's less the issue of grading out 9 picks through camp (which I'd support), but rather getting a WR who can contribute this year without rookie stumbles. Agree strongly with you that interruptions (CV19) in onboarding and training rookie talent skew decision making towards a trade like this.

Ford was good enough and promising enough to NOT trade. Like Allen, they will look for a noticeable progression in his 2nd year and then be able to make a better read on his long-term fit.

Run D was pretty stout when he was healthy iirc. Didn't he lead Stanford on tackles his last year? That's insane for a
I too want to believe Phillips' return helps the run D. Maybe it falls more on Edmunds.

Stay put. Consider bringing 9 picks into camp so you (The Bills) can evaluate them in YOUR system and on YOUR field through camp and preseason. Then cut a couple guys knowing you kept the best 6 or 7 of nine. Better than the arrogant belief that if you cut your picks down to 6, you do so knowing (believing) you're such a superior evaluator of talent (and players who have never played a snap in the NFL) that all 6 make the team. For all Brandon's composure, he gets a little giddy in the springtime and falls in love with certain prospects.
This year I wouldn't trade down in the 1st since some high end talent is definitely needed. If you must trade up, then only surrender the extra 5th and/or 6th.

Malcolm Young has passed and Brian Johnson is hearing impaired. Yet still better with Angus than Shakira and her fake guitar playing.

Buffalo- 94 inches a year on average
Cleveland 59
green bay 49
Pitt 44
Detroit 43
Cincinnati 24
its got a rep for a reason.
WNY doesn't get the snow it used to. That's my issue. Kills skiing and other Winter activities. I want more snow now. Matters not to me if most like to swelter 3 seasons of the year.

108 receiving yards = playing time in the following game.

I'd be fascinated to spend the last week seeing what the Bills medical/training staff did to get Wallace back. I'm sure it's a set of now commonplace protocols, but still impressive.

Rest the starters. I also want to see Joseph and Sweeny get heavy reps to see what they're capable of moving forward.

And this is how Belicheck earned his genius status. Great job by McDermott and yes ... Daboll.
So many people, including me, wanted so badly for the Bills to have an identity. Screw that. What they're doing is smarter and far more effective.
All of this and the fact that BB makes great half-time adjustments (or at least used to).

If you're getting blown out then most any musical attempt to fabricate energy will fall flat. Otherwise, the song needs to be punchy and up tempo. Start playing sing-a-long ballads and you'll have the team thinking about their high-school girlfriend or childhood pet instead of preparing to go off on the opponent. I don't want Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips tearing up and hugging offensive linemen. I want them unleashing hell and destroying quarterbacks as they attempt to flee.

I don’t see any advantage to doing this before the season is over. I mean, why now?
I'd guess first dibbs on a new GM. New GM can then get a start on next year to include draft prep. Marrone can be released later. The Bill's likely would have liked Waley's replacement set further before the draft but it was too close. In contrast, this gives a replacement 4 months or so if hired tomorrow. That's my 2 cent guess.

It's the consecutive outside runs in a late game close-out drive that were the problem. Plays don't fit the player.

If we cant be at home, i want this game as well. Easy for me to get to!
Underrated decision by McDermott , firing Dennison after a playoff year.
..and compare to now. If Daboll left the Bills now have the credibility to get a top tier replacement.

I think the one Watt attempted on Josh that just barely missed was even more "vicious." A direct hit on the ball with that punch move is going to dislodge it the majority of the time.
Watt had a huge windup with enough power to disembowel a lesser man. Good thing he missed.
When you're known to fumble you invite these strip tactics by the defense. It's one reason why I like Gore and his ball security.

Built right with good coaches and management. Its awesome to have this team clinched for a playoff game and not a top 15 draft pick.
Lets go Bills!
Some of the "look at the formation" time outs could go do. The process is becoming the standard!
That's certainly a useful tactic in the first half if you weren't going to use them otherwise.

That the Bills have a disparity between their offense and defense is known and in no way diminishes the joy of victory.

The value on WR is better in Rd 2. Now we will be drafting later in the first so maybe that’s the range where we might swing but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Beane go Edge Rd 1 and trade up Rd 2 and get his WR. That’s just based off tendency and this regime loves Defense on cost controlled contracts
If Beane continues to bundle picks to trade up and get non-QBs I'll be disappointed.

For deep completions, the Kelly to Lofton connection was memorable. Kelly really put some arc on his deep balls. Two hall-of-famers playing catch.

It'skid of a blessing the Bills O got handed a blitzing lesson by the Ravens. While handling the blitz will not be perfect come Sunday, overall they should be way better prepared with what happened last Sunday. Though many teams have blitzed heavily of late.
Agree. Quite a beating he took. Hoping Daboll has an adjustment ready should Pitt start to rattle Allen.

Like others have said, no short, quick passes yesterday. Plays taking too long to develop.

Which is crazy cuz Maryland is beautiful.
Some sketchy places. Don’t go for crab cakes after 9pm on the wrong side of tracks.
Maryland is a smaller state, but varied. Southern MD, Coastal Md, and Western Maryland (to include the mountainous coal country) all differ significantly from Baltimore. Western MD just as likely to be Steelers fans.
