In 1991, Walt Corey ran the 2-5, the Sic 'em Defense featuring Cornelius Bennett. Play to your strengths I guess.

5-11, 193 pounds. Ran a 4.58-second 40-yard dash at his Pro Day (~2016). Some good receiving yards. Pass blocking praise from PFF. Any guess on how much of the $7 million is guaranteed?

Tremaine Edmunds contract comparison

No. Not a player I want to commit to for 5 years - especially at that price. 5.5 career sacks (0 in 2021). 4 career interceptions. Interferes with passing lanes or whatever......... I'd rather extend Poyer again. -

How about a Free Agent Guard? Titans release Saffold
In Summary replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope it's both a free agent signing (ready to start Game 1) and a Day 1-2 draft pick for interior OL. People can talk WR, TE, RB all day, but it's the OL that makes all these offensive fantasies come true. Not only for pass protection, but who wants another year where the O coordinator has Josh run and hurdle because we can't establish a running threat? I'm also a bit tired of hearing about a lineman that can play multiple OL positions yet excel at neither. It's time to commit to at least one dominant guard like we had in Ritchie. If Beane now likes tall rangy tackles, then he can also learn to appreciate a guard that can execute a drive block. -
Todays Take on Generational Money Where is That Line ?

Yes. Any NFL player that invests heavily for a few years in their 20's should be set even if they work a common job the balance of their working years. The time value on say $100k invested before you're 26 would be tremendous. -
Negotiating over social media. 😒 Lame. What's his angle? Get his way or play victim if they cut/trade him?

The defense is missing a strong 1-tech that can be counted on to show up every week and free up Ed and cover for Tremain's unique skill set. That said, Bills will have to get CB settled before anything.

I'd be far more excited to see the interior OL bolstered than to acquire a receiver. I'd like to see 7 starting caliber OL on the roster- to include Bates. -
O line.

Born in '93 if I have it right. Great opportunity for him especially with Hyde/Poyer. -

If you're projected to go late round or UFA, you'll likely do whatever you're told if you think your combine performance can help you. -

I continue to lose interest in the NFL, but not necessarily in the actual game of football. The NFL and the media that covers it has become more and more about everything but the game. Hot takes, concussions, politics, who said what on twitter, activism, etc. I watch sports to get away from these things but that's increasingly difficult. The WGR/Bills radio does do a pretty good job of sticking to football compared to the national feed IMO.

Commercials suck. Overly serious or super safe. They detract from the momentum of the actual football game just as they always do. Their one use is a chance to re-beer, get pizza, etc.

The real crime is lumping in Coldplay and Maroon 5 in with The Who. That's like putting Will Smith in with Chuck D and Ice-T.

It's a show, not a concert. Thought the set was interesting. Like a house party in many rooms?
-
The epic amount of non football related stuff that was presented did nothing for me. The game feels like a sideshow. So be it.

Another poster made me aware of him. As much as people don't want yet another high draft pick spent on the DL, we really haven't spent one on the 1-Tech which is (to me) a different position than that of DE and Oliver's position. The Bills committed to the smaller 3-tech and MLB that struggles to disengage the opponent's OL, so they really have to firm this position up. I know the modern trend is to have your DTs be near the same pass rush threat as your DE's, but somebody has to own their real estate. Davis may not be a pass rusher, but I think he helps the pass rush indirectly. Were the Bills to shore up corner and/or interior OL with free agents, I'd be happy with this pick.
