If the Bills' run D shows up I'm not concerned.

Just send Howard Ballard and Ted Washington out with Marv to block the wind. He'll be fine.

With the velocity that Allen throws, how are receivers have done catching in cold weather, and the expected temps, the WR's should be living outside with the jugs machines cranked up to 11 from now until Saturday.
I am way less concerned about practicing outside for the other position groups.
...and maybe the punter.

Few OC positions would be more coveted than Buffalo so no reason you couldn't get a top replacement.

I'd like to see more plays in rhythm even if they're short passing plays. The QB improv off a broken play is exciting but it also indicates that the initial play call was ill-timed, easily read, or took too long to set up. When the Bills move the ball predominantly on improv heroics, Daboll in not calling a good game and it usually seems to be accompanied with forced bullet passes and ignoring the easy 5-7 yards in the short passing game. Singletary isn't Thurman or Marshall Faulk, but he's looking pretty good here as of late.

I don't buy into a fixed view of what the McKenzie/Beasley snap ratio should be. It's too much of a popularity contest in that framing. Beasley snaps should depend on the defense they see and whether Allen/Daboll can chill out an accept moving the chains 5-7 yards at a time when no other options present themselves.

Trubisky: 118.8 QB rating today. Truly an embarrassment of riches at the QB position.

The way they were throwing to Davis I believe they were trying to hit bonus money. Probably messed up their rhythm.
3 catches for 14 targets. Odd day for Davis.

TD close either way. Doesn't stress me.

It’s weird that Cousins could hit Diggs deep multiple times, but Josh still hasn’t had that bomb connection. I like Josh, and I think he is elite, but his deep connection ability seems to be the only facet of his game that is below average.
Allen is not the touch passer that Kelly was - at least not yet.

Don't care about the personal interest stories and who said what in the off week on Twitter. Sideline reporters are generally cringe. Give me someone who knows the game and can explain plays.

Tough because of the desire to rest starters if possible. I'll say McKenzie as they try to limit snaps for Diggs and Beasley.

We need a young stud 1T who will battle side by side with Ed.
This. Ed has it all but size. A solid 1T makes both Ed and Edmunds much better.

I dont like how Florio states his opinion here as if it were fact. Stating that the wonderlic is irrelevant. That's a stupid statement in itself.
There's 32 teams and lots of personnel on each team. How can he possibly know how it is used.
I disagree that it is irrelevant. But if teams use it wrongly, that's better for the teams that use it correctly. I think what he NFL is after here, is (1) stopping the scores from leaking and (2) possible liability later, for leaked scores. Especially if there are statements regarding confidentiality that the nfl makes to the test takers.
Agree. You want more information about a player - not less. The whole combine is about JUDGING a player. You can dismiss data, but you can't assess it if you don't collect it. Nothing sacred about the Wonderlic as a test vehicle, but you do want to scale cognitive abilities as you would physical abilities IMO. Separately, I would think interviews contain questions that can be used to look for psychological traits. Companies do this.

Should have just kept WFT - it's become kinda cool after the initial awkwardness
Yes. Highly descriptive and apolitical.

Not a bad thought, although if he is 100% by Sunday, I think he starts the game. He has not gotten a lot of reps, so if he's going to be the starting left guard in the playoffs, he needs to get more reps and continue to develop chemistry with the rest of the line. Also, as someone astutely pointed out above, the Bills may want to see what they have in Bates if they are considering moving on from Feliciano after the season to save on cap and/or because Feliciano's performance has declined (despite him being a good dude).
If he's 95% or so I'd agree to play him for a quarter or so.

Thanks - this was the info I was looking for - and it's good news. I'd say he's between questionable and probable for the Jests game on Sunday and back for the playoffs for sure. It will be interesting to see if he is reinserted as the starter, or if the injury costs him the spot. Feliciano and Ford were also back from COVID list prior to yesterday's agme, so now we are only down Ike at guard. Could be a lot worse.
I'd rest him against the Jets then start him for the playoffs.

Include a few credible aero engineers in the design team to blunt the wind. Done.

Kelly would throw picks and come back unrattled and with good body language. I don't need any new age self-reflection by Josh. Stay positive and tough.

Not liking the big play against, but looking forward to Hoofhearted's breakdown.
Bills defense needs a nickname

Why name the defense when the national media or Buff News will surely name it the "The blue collar, lunch pail, small town, hard working, cold weather, beer drinkin', pouring steel at the plant, work boot, leather glove, hard hat, bologna sandwich, blah, blah, blah, cliché defense".
