agree with overall assesments as far as needs...esp resigning #99 and make and effort to resign LevI Wallace and Hughes which may not happen the best FAs are your own...which was last year strategy likely this years...

Beano did say they will make the effort to resign Levi

    Total of 9 picks: #25, 57, 89, 126, 166  184 (from Car), 203,  228 (from ATL) , 243 - Beano is well-armed

(Teams eliminated in the Divisional round get picks 25-28)

Since the future is NOW, I dont have a problem with moving up in the early rounds to get us that big nose tackle to replace Star, as we are kind of light otherwise (Harry, Oliver, Zimmer), AND corner which has not been a high pick since Trey (at #27)  even if it means moving multiple picks this year and possibly next year as well...as in early picks

I like your 1Tech NT and Corner priorities but wouldn't trade up to get them.

If anyone offered a 2nd round pick for him I would do it in a heartbeat. The only other option in my eyes is pay him 9M and tell him he's moving to the outside.

I'm so tired of safe bend don't break defenses. We've witnessed them throughout Bills history. Let Frazier walk and sign Fangio. Stick Tremaine outside where he's belonged since day 1 and let your defense be more aggressive.

Edmunds belonged with Walt Corey.  We need a Talley.

I'd like to keep the OL together if possible, but I don't feel the same about the WR room.

I think we can absolutely upgrade WR3 in this Offense.

Diggs and Davis are a good duo.  Stevenson and Hodgins are depth at 5/6.   But we could definitely serve to be more explosive out of the 3/4 WR positions.

Absolutely.  It's all abouts the O line. More than WR and RB.

Id rather see him blitzing or playing man every single down. Move him over, he cant be the MLB of this team.

Watching him play zone and trying to process what is happening on the field is hard to watch. Hes always a second late to figure out whats going on.

Hes still a baby, so i wouldnt mind keeping him if we can get him on the cheap and hope he can continue to learn the game, but to pay him top 10-15 money would be absurd.

His blitzes are only successful when unopposed.  Lacks violent hands at point if attack. Can't bull rush anybody.

  5. The last of the great rockers are all in their 70s.  Have a conversation with many in their 20's about these groups and you'll usually get blank stares or maybe a comment about how their dad had their cd. Reality.

The halftime show is now firmly more a "show" than it is a mini concert. Dancers, props, fake guitar playing, pre-recorded tracks, etc. It's visual. It's diverse across genre. It's safe. It's the NFL.  Presumably it's profitable.

Don't care for the new crowd at all. If you can find them on one of those retro channels, Dick Cavett had some really interesting actual conversations with folks. But seems it's mostly all about cheap laughs and bowing down to the topic of the day, so I tune out.

.....and politics.  So pass.  I'd rather hear what TBD posters have to say when it comes to football.  Cavett was good.

Trent Williams, the gold standard amongst tackles, is 6-5 320. Brown is 6-8 290, does he get bigger in the weight room? or with Josh's mobility do we keep him long and mean.

You could see more weight on him but he seems to understand how to position his tall frame so as not to get bulled over.  His balance and foot speed are good from what I see.  Has a unique roll in that he's part of Allen's frequent roll-out to his right.

  8. If I had to give a game ball to a position group it would be the O line.  The run game likely (can't confirm) brought the NE D up a bit to help the passing game while keeping the Bills D rested.  Maybe someone on the board saw if we got big pass plays against their 3-4 base or if we were running against their dime??

I am not ready to buy the "Pass first - pass always" narrative of Schopp and Jeremy White - two folks who almost get apoplectic when we try to run.  In the 90's the Dolphins passed their way into the record books and out of the championship game in part because they lacked balance - when the pass was shut down, so were they.

Man - has anyone checked other boards?  There is a profound existential crisis going on in New England right now.

Older fans there are fine - they're trying to walk the younger fans through it & give them the "it'll all be okay!" pep talk.

Younger fans are lost.  "All I've known is winning - what am I supposed to do with this?"  "It's not my fault that I grew up watching Boston sports win all the time!"

It's like watching a trust fund kid find out that a bad investment was made & they have to get a job now....

In an era where brains are conditioned to not have to wait for anything - with immediate access to thousands of options in music, dating, rentals, opinions, entertainment choices, video games, etc., coupled with a "you deserve ...." entitlement, waiting 10 years for Allen to retire will destroy a generation of Bostonians.
