Signing Beasley seemed to bring out McKenzie's best. Hoping there is a little professional competition in the WR room. -
Snowballs - fair game if aimed at Dolphins bench?

I might chuckle if Hill or their coach got pegged, but you have to imagine Bills players targeted by tangerines in Miami. The average NFL fan would be unimpressed and Bills's fans would be outraged. -

So, reading the board, we lost again. 3-11. Sigh.

The tackling was poor. You can't dismiss this fact because it's included with the other ridiculous statements. -

This was not "Playoff Caliber" football nor is it a sign that we're "Peaking at the right time". -

Please give me DaQuan Jones for the pick six. -
Good post. I'm the same. I started watching some Cover 1 stuff and I had no idea how much I've always missed in terms of X&Os, individual technique, "concepts", etc. My revelation is that what is happening is happening very quickly. It's almost like the challenge of watching hockey and learning to not lose sight of the puck. Cover 1 will break down a few plays and stop after just a few frames to break the plays or individual play into digestible segments. Without this it's just a blur to me. The TV coverage is selective and doesn't compare with the All 22. Replays seem scarce. We see a player "miss" a tackle when in analysis, it wasn't their assignment to begin with and the guilty party is out of the frame. Interceptions always look like the QB's fault unless you know where the receiver was supposed to be. Point being that bombastic claims of failure and incompetence are often un-justified. Watching the Cover 1 segments has greatly softened my overly critical views on Edmunds. I've come to really appreciate some of the D-line play. The more I understand the game, the more the peripheral stuff like gambling, player celebrities, non-game drama, sports politics, etc. have zero interest to me.

Roster Moves to Sign Brown & Beasley to the 53?
In Summary replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
No need to "save him for later". This a is a big divisional game. If it's a 3 call-up consideration, sit him for the Bears. -

Quite a thread. I bet the beds at ECMC are full up with so many having been offended by a comment made by a person nobody pays attention to. -

Beasley had taken some serious physical punishment when he left us. Dude was beat up. Looking forward to what he may be able to do for the few remaining games. -
If the offense keeps struggling does Dorsey get fired ?
In Summary replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Too many factors make Dorsey safe. 1st year OC Questionable OL talent at the guards Slot receiver not emerging after Crowder gets injured. The popular view is that this is an Allen/Diggs high powered offensive team, but I'd say the Bills identity is really that of a premier Defensive team who also have two marquee offensive players. In the off-season, I thought both OL and DL were weak in the middle. Beane did a great job in getting D. Jones with Oliver and Edmunds benefitting greatly. Dorsey does pretty well with what he has. If I were to pick at him, it would be on whatever lack of focus is leading to dropped passes. -
Arguably because they're not simple. OL needs to convincingly sell it, slip their opposing D-lineman, yet not be illegally downfield. QB needs an open passing lane through the lines or do a risky lob over rushers. You have to have the DL rush or even overcommit rather than play a contain on Allen. Agree that we haven't seen an effective screen game since the Thurman days.
