Hello all! Heading down to Buffalo for my son's travel hockey team. We bought 40 tickets to the Sabres game Friday night - what is the best way to park and get to the arena? Is there a remote spot to park and take a train in? Or is there a good lot nearby that can accommodate 40?

I think we can all agree that we knew this was going to be somewhat of a "reset" year, and that the initial hot start of 3-0 has led to some absurd hot takes after the one ugly loss. But my god, how many different ways can we complain about this team in a week after a loss? No - Beane did not fail us. He did not fail JA. He put together one hell of a roster, which has subsequently been decimated by injury, suspension, and bad luck overall. The money isn't there to make a big splash in FA, and even if it were - who would you suggest that would have been a good fit that didn't break the cap? He also failed the team the whole 2nd half of 2023, including playoffs - let's not forget.

This is like people pissing and moaning about Spencer Brown all over again. Hasn't this coaching staff shown they put the best 5 out there, and give them live reps to learn and grow on the fly? Let me guess, you think the rookie 5th rounder should get a look? God help this place if we lose to the texans...

Honestly, I'd put his inability to slide like a normal human being first lol... any time he does that awkward half slide/sideways lunge, I cringe. He leaves himself open to an indecisive defensive player laying into him. But also - did you notice when he was celebrating with Kincaid, that he jumped higher than Kincaid did? Like, let the kid have his moment to shine - you don't have to always remind everyone that you are a better athlete Josh. We know.

Leaves have been changing for weeks up here in Maine. We had a cool spell late August and then back into the 80s for a week straight in September. Can't deny fall is in the air now though! Hockey season in full swing for my kiddo (his Maine travel team has a tourney in Buffalo Halloween weekend!)
