Why would the Texans trade for Henry? Their backfield is crowded enough with Davis, Wells and Hollings.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules or took a few liberties with our female party guests -- we did [wink]. -
I hate to say it, but Williams might be the only reason the Skins won't be picking first the next draft.

Intersting fact I just heard about fallugah

Anyone else find it somewhat humerous that the Sarin actually had a label that said Sarin V-Gases. Like they ordered it from ACME. Wasn't sure what to expect, but I figured if they were hiding something, it wouldn't be labelled. -

I know, but with my company if she was a man I could. Never really looked into it, but I wonder what the criteria is to get a same sex partner on your health insurance? -
I believe the riot started when they ran out of beer. I think we can pin that one on piss poor planning I would have loved to have been in that marketing meeting. "The foam fingers just aren't drawing them in...we need a new gimmick." "Howsh 'bout shelling beersh for a dime [Hiccup]." "Brilliant!!"

Gets rid of the "Redeemers" that hit my door every weekend. They're either selling salvation or gutter guards. "Oh, is you're wife home?" "No, but my girlfriend is....wanna see my horns and spiked tail?" Maybe I'll try "lifepartner" next time to see what reaction I get. -
72 Virgins.......that all look like Rosie O'Donell.

You're right BiB, steam is the correct method for the shrimp. By the time I add them, enough water has boiled off that the shrimp sit on top of the other goods for some steamin'. Depending on the occasion, we'll either do our own spic emixture or just use the Old Bay Boil Bags. Ever had a bag break? Most people don't like it (too spicy), but damn does it give the boil some character. I actually prefer it that way.

OK...I'll bite. When referencing "partners," why is this considered code for homosexuals? I live in a home with my girlfriend. We share expenses, we plan budgets, not to mention our lives together. Are we not partners? -

Atlanta has the crappiest fairweather bandwagon pro sports fans in the country. I'm convinced of it. The Bulldogs get more press than the Falcons. The tech B-Ball team more than the Hawks (rightfully so), and the Braves have outright spoiled the city. Last time they made the pennant you could still buy walk up seats right before game time. I won't even go into the Thrashers, because then I'd have to get into my hockey doesn't belong south of the Mason-Dixon Line diatribe. They have some of the best young talent in the league, but their fans are the leftover sludge in the tank from all the transplants who still root for their hometown teams. At least I get to see the Sabres 2x a year (present season excluded). The Falcons bandwagon is rolling, but once the fanbase realize the NFC can make anyone look good, they'll hop off quick enough.

Mostly from idjets that either put too much oil in the fryer, or put the top on the fryer and walk away despite the explicit instructions not to. You can also use the fryer for a low country boil.....mmmmmm. Not to mention a stojanload of wings.

For those of us actually holiding out the next to impossible hope that the Bills still might make the playoffs, we wanted the Pats to win.

It doesn't matter who is playing on Sunday night...they pick the winning team and slap on the knee pads. My favorite is when they make stevestojan up, like saying theyu practicied with the team (JT) or "so-and-so told me they were going to run that play, when I was out fishing with him on his yacht".
-
I'd add to that with most adults can't think for themselves. I knew the pierced kid was bad news when the opening paragraph stated they moved to Atlanta for better schools. Are you kidding me? Most my friends that have kids, have either moved away or are planning to move after kindergarten, because of the poor quality of schools.

I'm down with that. At least we can f' it up for another team. Playoffs aren't completely out of the question is you look at the remaining schedule. Pats - If the Bills can't beat them with the injuries they have now....... Rams - At the Ralph. D is average. Martz refuses to run the ball....so c'mon wind. Seahawks - Their O is clicking, but D is giving it up like Madonna on a tour bus. Dolphins - No comment necessary. Browns - Should be beatable at home. Bengals - Half the team is on IR. Worst run D in league. Palmer still working out kinks. 49ers - Secondary left and went home. Best D player on IR. Rattay will be out for the season by this point. Barlow can't get it done with 8 in the box. Steelers - Hopefully will have sewn up home field by this time and will play scrubs. Rest of the season hinges on Sunday night. Bills squeak out a win in Foxboro, our remaining schedule looks promising.

OT: ABC is going to show Saving Pvt Ryan tonight
Kevbeau replied to JarHeadJim's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't show it in Atlanta either. Ran some reruns of "intellectually stimulating," reality shows. -
I'd agree, but I'd rank the two college backs higher than Henry on talent alone. I expect the Vikes to deal one of their backs, most likely Bennett and it wouldn't shock me if the Brownies dealt Green. I'd still rank Henry above those two as Bennet is an injury waiting to happen and Willie's off field problems are well documented. So regardless if Travis is the third or fifth best back out there, it's a buyers market. That's why I mentioned in a previous thread that I'd be thrilled to see the Bills get a 2nd rounder for him.

There will be better options on the market than Henry. Notable 2005 FA RB's (Going off of memory, so sorry about any mistakes) Shawn Alexander Edgerrin James Rudi Johnson Anthony Thomas Lamont Jordan You can also throw Ricky into the mix, not to mention other teams who might be looking to move a back (Vikings, Browns). Two teams will also take RB's in the first round (Cadillac Williams & Cedric Benson). While not at the bottom of the list, Travis won't even be close to the top of the pool.

[Light cigar and cue A-Team theme music] I've seen film of C-130 gunship suppression from Vietnam (Wow!). Couple that with today's imaging technology and you can't help but wonder what goes through the mind of someone looking down the wrong end of the barrel. Trying to add an attachment to this post. Nose art for Herky Gunship "Azrael: Angel of Death," which, correct me if I'm wrong, happens to be the Angel of Death from the Koran?

Have it on DVD. Great Flick. I remember right after right after seeing it for the first time, we armed our "forts" with whatever "weapons" we could find. The Russians never would have had a chance. "were all gonna die, die standing up" "All that hates gonna burn you up kid." "Keeps me warm."

Draft Guys - Who might go #1 overall next year?
Kevbeau replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, the Fins definitely need offense, so possibly Aaron Rodgers, Cal's QB, or Matt Leinhart, USC's QB. Best RB's in the draft are Carnell Williams, out of Auburn & Benson from UT, but not sure they're worth a top pick. -
Taking the Barometer of the Bills' playoff chances
Kevbeau replied to Thurman's Helmet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I meant er.... the first 3 games they played well. [Reminds self not to mix real world stats with fantasy stats] Well, things the schedule looks brighter now, doesn't it? Now don't bogart the blunt and pass it back.
