Yeah, because all prisoners are allowed to keep their cellphones -
Thanks. That just made my day

Heard on Sirius that the Clowns have given Verba permission to seek a trade. Makes you wonder what the real story is with Shelton. Sounds like the Bills wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole, but he's good enough to replace a starting LT?

"I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here" - Mitch Hedberg -
Well considering that; 1.) I am not of the female gender and; 2.) I'm sure the list of persons that can hammer a six inch spike through a board with their um...trouser weasel (trying to be PG).... is hopefully non-existant, I feel I can safely author that post with my manliness intact.

The damn avatar man! Will edit to rectify stupidity.

If you're out there for the actual graduation ceremony, the Thunderbirds usually put on a demo.

I'm guessing Newsweek is cooking up a 10 page feature on it right now. The Saudis can go pound sand.

The LoDo area is full of great places to eat. For good eats close to the stadium try the Denver Chop House. For good food and a good tap selection (their own), try the Wynkoop Brewery, or for bar food and a huge tap selection, try the Falling Rock Tap House. Lots of small chain eateries also (Rock Bottom, Fado's, etc...) that you won't find in every city. Beers I recommend trying are Fat Tire (common out west, but tough to find in the east) and anything out of the Big Sky Brewing Co., in particular "Moose Drool." TommyKnocker, New Belgium (which I believe makes Fat Tire) and Breckenridge Breweries also have out some decent micros. For things to see. Denver's Museum of Natural History is fantastic if you like dinosaurs. They also have an Imax. Check to see if anything is going on at the Red Rocks ampitheatre. There's the Pike's Peak cog railroad, or check out Boulder. Down in CO Springs the chapel at the Air Force Academy is extremely cool if you're into architecture. The city of Denver itself is a mass of sprawl, so I usually head into the mountains, however it's mud season out there. However, take a drive out I-70 to check out the mountains, the Eisenhower Tunnel and have lunch in Frisco, Dillon, or Breckenridge. Some stuff should still be open. Also some scenic things of the highway. I think Buffalo Bill's grave ??? and Big Horn Sheep Park???. Never stopped at any of them. A-Basin is still open for skiing, but bring your oxygen tank and I've heard they've had issues with their snowpack lately.

We have two cats, two dogs and two horses. All have very unique personalities, but I will say the cats are every bit as affectionate as the dogs. I had never had cats until some douche-bag left these two as kittens boxed up in a parking lot, but in a sense, I'm glad he did. They are a riot to have around, great napping partners and excellent stress relievers. Even my dad, who was anti-cat his entire life has been caught petting them and napping with one on his chest. (Mom had that incriminating pic framed for his office.) One of our dogs is a rescue too. He and the rest of his litter were tossed from a car. Don't mean to be a downer, but it takes a real low-life to abuse an animal. Great animal though. Took almost two years to work out the psychological damage done to him, but he's happy-go-lucky now. Funny thing, we have a large population of grey squirrels on our property. Our lab-mix's favorite pastime is to chase them. He's come close to nabbing one a few times, but for now he just tends to bulldoze them if he can make contact. The squirrels seem to have made a judgement call that he is a minor threat and they can go about their business until he starts to chase. However, if they can even see one of the cats in a window, let alone having one in the yard and it's a mad dash for the tree tops. I won't even touch on horse personalities. They are a hell of lot smarter than people think.

Forgot to add. I recommend trying Magic Hat beers. They are out of Burlington, VT. I know you can get their stuff at Beers of the World and I think Colony in Buffalo carries their stuff. All their offereings are good, but the No. 9 is great on a hot summer day.

If the UNC linky didn't say so, you are correct Roscoe. "Skunking" is caused by exposure of beer to UV light. You can counter it with preservatives, [cough, Corona], but that adds another dimension of taste problems.

Yeah, but the perv doesn't have ten million lying around. I'm truly sorry for the kid and I hope all members of that list burn in the deepest pit of hell, but this is nothing more than a money grab. -

I'll second the Chimay Blue (Grand Reserve), although Kwak and Triple Karmmel are close seconds. If I'm slummin' it I go with Sierra Nevada Pale or Summerfest, or possibly Terrapin Rye Ale.

The hits keep coming. One of the best DVD's I own. I think it was $7.99 at Media Play. Of the top of my head.... Jimmy: "That's not funny, I could have been killed!" Joe: "Tragic loss to the art world." Joe: "I think I @#$%ed a squirrel to death." Jimmy: "Hallenbeck? What's he gonna do, breathe on 'em?" Criminal: "Jake attacks his job with a certain exhuberence." Jimmy: "#$%, we're being beat up by the inventor of scrabble." Hitman: "How'd you know it was my wife?" Joe: "She said her husband was a big pimp lookin' mother@#$er." Hitman: "You're real cool but you've got to take a bullet." Joe: "After @#$%ing your wife I'll take two." Joe's Wife: "I was lonely!" Joe: "Buy a dog." From IMDB..... Jimmy Dix: I figure you gotta be the dumbest guy in the world, Joe. You're trying the save the life of the man who ruined your career, and avenge the death of the guy that @#$%ed your wife. Milo: Can we get a formal introduction? Joe Hallenbeck: Who gives a @#$%? You're the bad guy, right? Milo: I am the bad guy. Joe Hallenbeck: And I'm supposed to be trembling in fear or something like that? Milo: Something like that. Joe Hallenbeck: I'll tremble later. For now, how about a drink? Mike Mathews: Look Joe, it just happened. Joe Hallenbeck: Sure, sure, it just happened. Could happen to anybody. It was an accident, right? You tripped, fell on the floor and accidently stuck your @#$% into my wife. "Oops, I'm sorry, Mrs. H, I guess this just isn't my week". Jimmy Dix: What, you don't believe in love? Joe Hallenbeck: Yeah, I believe in love; I believe in cancer. Mike Mathews: Joe how long have we been friends? Joe Hallenbeck: I'd say roughly until you started banging my wife. and of course..... "Touch me again and I'll kill ya."

I believe the South Face is the easier more travelled route.

I quite agree. I've sampled most of their offerings and regularly purchase two or three of their brands. All are outstanding.

"That doesn't look like a bomb, it looks like an apple with lines coming out of it. What are your trying to tell them?...don't open the case, it's full of fresh fruit." "I forgot to tell you, bomb means %^&* you in Polish." Such an underrated classic.
