10 Movies you can watch over and over again
Kevbeau replied to taterhill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not necessarily my favorite movies, but if I find it channel surfing my ass is on the couch for the next two hours. Black Hawk Down - "When I get home people 'll ask me, "Hey Hoot, why do ya do it man? Why? Just some war junkie?" Ya know what I'll say? I won't say a g-damn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is. " True Lies - "What kind of a sick B word takes the ice cube trays?" Suicide Kings - "So all I'm saying to you is if you wanna drink, you go ahead and drink. But if I ever find out that you laid your hands on that little girl again, me and Mr. Mantle are gonna pay you a visit my friend." Ghostbusters - "Where do these stairs go?" "They go up." Animal House - "I'm a zit...get it?" Flash Gordon - "What do you mean, "Flash Gordon approaching?" Van Wilder - "Well, you haven't lived until you've shot-putted blitzed on Jager!" PCU - "You passed out cigarettes for a smoke-a-thon on Earth Day. You installed speed bumps on the handicapped ramps and, most recently, you dumped 100 pounds of... MEAT on a peaceful vegan protest!" "Oh, come on! That was way more than 100 pounds. " Road Trip - "This is the Joseph H. Nelson Memorial Library, here. Okay? It was built in the 1600s. " "1600s? It says it was built in 1951." "That's the address. Okay? Wise-ass." Eurotrip - "So I tell the swamp donkey to sock it before I give her a trunky in the tradesman's entrance and have her lick me yardballs!" [laughs] "Wow. You guys are on a completely different level of swearing here." -
SC Rules that Local Governments can evict

I checked out the place's website. Looks nice, I'd definitely hang at that place if I was in SD. It sure as hell dosen't look like a "blight" on the community. -
He really did crash land in Beverly Hills. http://www.check-six.com/Crash_Sites/XF-11_crash_site.htm I enjoyed the movie, but Scorcese really focused on Hughes eccentricities more than the man's vision and success. Also I believe Hughes' social decline took a number of decades to manifest itself as opposed to the rapid decline depicted in the movie.

Bingo. I deal with plastic resin purchasing, so we hedge on oil quite a bit. Our risk mgmt guys are expecting $72-$75 a barrel by end of the year. Not only is refining maxed out, but so are oil tankers. On top of that excess capacity is at an all time low, about a million barrels. If China keeps growing at a 9-10% clip we can easily hurdle $80 a barrel. US consumers haven't curbed their usage despite the uptick in prices (probbaly won't see that until $3-$4 a gallon. Good news is that the US economy is surging faster than expected, but this in turn puts further strain on demand.

Rebar? Well it was a bar fight. Edit: [man that pun sucked. I feel shame]

Re-do the Joker? I dunno...Jack nailed it the first time. Should have got an Oscar.

Great site. The nine lords a leaking pic is a classic. It's members of the Blackthorn Club getting ready for a Patty's Day performance. The pic can also be found in the men's bathroom of the Balckthorn Pub on Seneca in S.Buffalo. My uncle's in the pic and my dad was just off to the right of the photographer.

You are correct sir. List of Tedford QB's in the NFL 1) Trent Dilfer 2) Billy Volek 3) David Carr 4) Kyle Boller 5) Aaron Rodgers 6) Joey Harrington 8) Akili Smith 9) Reggie Robertson Out of the entire list, I'd say Smith is the only true flop and Dilfer the only true success. Only the Dolphins expected Feeley to be anything more than a backup and Robertson is what scouts expected him to be... A career backup. Jury is still out on Carr, Harrington & Boller. Volek will eventually get his shot.

TD is forcing Paris Hilton to give up her public life. [There is good in him, I can sense it] -
Whatever they pay ST, it's not enough. I could have used the Trooper when I was poking my way through college...and a few years after. When's the book come out?

Had a guy change lanes in front me on the way to work today on 85N just south of Atlanta. Cruising along around 80mph (anyone else in Atlanta can verify that's about average) and the jackhole moves in front of me from the right and just misses my bumper. being the good New Yorker I am I lay on the horn as I apply mucho pressure to the brakes. People don't use the horn down here, so when they hear one it gets attention. He then tries to wave or flip me off. I couldn't tell with the cell phone in his hand. I can't back it up with numbers, but I'd bet one of our biggest threats on the road down here is Georgia bumpkins and rural Alabamans.

Can't remember if this is the whipped thread or if the Moving in with the g-friend is now the whipped thread. Anyway here's an interesting and humorous read. A few years old, so not sure if it's been linked here before. (Rated aRRRight for strong language) http://www.kimdutoit.com/ee/index.php/webl...e_western_male/

Well they might be able to fit formaldehyde across that big chick. -
When I was in HS (87-91') I'd say 3/4 of my friends ('burbians) couldn't find their way around the city of Buffalo. I'd bet the percentages are higher now. Did a trip my senior year down to NY City and had to correct a gaggle of tards for taking out their wallets and opening their purses to give street beggars money.

They should teach this stuff in HS or freshman year of college. Real Life 101: How To Bail on a Bad Situation. -
I think we all hope for the best for this girl, but the circumstances surrounding her disappearence are mind boggling. 125 high school graduates with seven chaperones, let loose in a country where they can drink as much as they want (I'll leave my rant against our asinine drinking laws for another time). Girl leaves a club with three guys she doesn't know, and none of her friends notice? That bar isn't that big. Unfortunately, I think once this plays out the details will be even more unbelievable.

Coca-Cola still has a pension plan. However, I'm expecting a buyout sometime in the near future. I would expect them to just cancel or phase it out, however I don't think their employee relations can withstand another hit like that.

I've spent a good amount of time in the Caribbean for both work and vacation, and I will say without a doubt, Aruba is one of the safest/friendliest islands you can visit...for me. Their literacy rate is extremely high, unemployment is extremely low. People will stop and ask you if you need a ride if you're walking into town. I've accepted before (not alone) and and thrown them a few bucks as a thank you. But then again I outweigh most Aruban men by 60-70lbs. However I will say, like most island destinations down there, once you get into the night clubs off the resorts the local men will hit on and harass American women to the extreme and they don't take "no thank you" for an answer. I spent the better part of a night at Carlos & Charlie's (the same bar Natalee Hollaway was last seen) running interference for female friends of mine. One more thing to add. You would be amazed at the number of high school kids that parents let roam all over Aruba. Some can handle it, but the majority of these kids can't find their way around their own cities, let alone aforeign country...but you could probably say the same for adults.

I did a search, but didn't find it posted yet. http://www.thephatphree.com/features.asp?S...&StoryYear=2005 Somewhat funny and hey...two Bills made the roster.

Wonder why he mentioned San Fran. I would assume with what they're paying Jonas the LT spot is well locked up....unless he figures since the 9ers gave Jopnas a blank check, they'd be willing to drop some coin on him [Verba]. I also believe that San Diego is pretty well set with their OL, however I'm not positive.

Will it end up in the blog? Enquiring minds want to know.
