Braden Michael Hill welcome to your quest for

Congrats and my best to the family. My sister-in-law was due Sunday (first neice/nephew), so we're all waiting expectantly. -
Without knowing your other RB's & QB's it's tough to make a call. However throwing that out the window, if the guy agrees take it. You give up a feast/famine QB. I like consistency over the risk-reward route at QB. You give up a backup RB. Granted, he was a monster when Priest got hurt last year. You'll kick yourself when when Priest sits out a few games, but LJ is still a backup as long as Priest is there. You get a top flight reciever. I have him ranked 2nd overall. Most publications have him ranked at least 4th.

TO all the way. Shockey has yet to prove that he's worth a keeper slot in anything 3 keepers or under, and Brooks will make you tear your hair out. Trust me, I've been on that roller coaster before.

I agree, plus even if Williams doesn't lose touches Moss is still a huge upgrade. I think Edge Portis is a push, with Portis being the bigger risk/reward.

Sabres to Bills: Your percentage interest
Kevbeau replied to The_Real's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
60/40 Sabres. Quinn/Reiger are killing me. Maybe I'll ask Pat Robertson to add 'em to his list. -
Not only do Darcy and Larry treat the players like crap, they treat the rest of their staff like crap. They systematically force out anyone who doesn't kiss their ass and their management skills are suspect at best. Rumor has it then when they sat down to decide on the teams structure prior to the new CBA, Don Luce wasn't involved (VP of Player Development I believe), but their new twenty-something capologist got center seat. Maybe the capologist guy is sharp, I don't know yet, but I'd rather have Luce building the team. I love the Sabres, moreso than the Bills, but I'd rather have them fold then to watch these Jokers run them into the ground.

My first 2005 Fantasy Football Draft (revised)
Kevbeau replied to bluenews's topic in Fantasy Football
I agree, Goings is wasting space on your roster. He'll be the 4th option in Carolina...although, that's what he was last year. As pointed out, your extremely thin at RB depth. If Portis goes down, you're whole season is fubared. You have good depth at reciever, TE and I like Warner in AZ this year. I'd check the WW for a rookie, a young back with potential or a goal line vulture (Duckett, Moe Williams). Other options are to move a WR & TE. Good chance Mason will suffer with Boller throwing the ball so move him before the season gets going. Possibly package him with Wiggins. I like Wiggins, but you can only start one TE at a time and you already have Crumpler. Pick up a TE off the WW to fill in for Atlanta's bye week. Finally, if Warner starts off hot, you could trade him. -
What do you guys think about Kerry Collins?
Kevbeau replied to stevestojan's topic in Fantasy Football
Collins throws a good number of picks, so be careful if you're docked points for INT's. I would rate him safely around the 10th QB, but his upside could be Top 3. Plus the job is his. (Does anyone even know who the Raiders back up is? Tsuitsatopo..sp?) He has a ton of weapons, just recognize that Norv likes to run and now Jordan will be the first option. Taking him in the 2nd round is too much of a risk IMHO. I personally don't even look at QB's until the 5th or 6th round at the earliest. Once Manning, McNabb and Stuffedpepper are off the board there's not much difference between the 4th QB and the 10th QB. That's what you need to look at. There is a big difference between a top 5 RB and the 10-15 range, although the gap is much narrower than in the past. You're probably looking at Lewis, Willis, or McAllister w/ the 5th pick. If it's a keeper league definitly go w/ Willis. With the 24th pick, you'll probably be looking at 2nd-3rd tier RB. Someone mentioned Bell and Arrington. Stay away from Denver RB's in the early round. Bell has potential, but Shanny is the fantasy foozball devil. Arrington is a safer pick. Shipp is dinged again and opposing D's won't be able to key on him. Also look at Stephen Jackson. If Holt or Chad Johnson are still there, they would also make a good pick. -

I actually think the Pats are solid at WR. In no particular order: Branch Terrell Johnson Givens Davis Brown Dwight No superstars, but they're pretty solid up and down the list. I don't think they'll be keeping 7 wr's so expect someone to be cut...and I have a bad feeling that Terrell is going to turn his career around in New England.

I have to agree with Promo. We only ask JP to be better than Bledsoe. Now that's not asking too much. is it?

I feel Palmer will continue his streak from the end of last season, but Harrington worries me. He's a high risk/reward guy and you're not too bad to have him as a number 2, but don't be afraid to replace him with a more consistent #2 if he starts to tail off. If they both tank look to see if Griese is still available. RB's are your biggest question mark. You need Deuce and Fragina to stay healthy and Chris Brown to break his pinky again. Faulk is now relagated to being a 3rd down back in St. Louis. I think Duece will do well for you (even though the Aints offense is a crapshoot), but Taylor and Henry are huge question marks. Check the waiver wire to see if there's any potential sleepers you can pick up. I hate to say it but Faulk will only help you if Jackson goes down....and watch Freddy's rehab progress. Rest of the roster looks good. (Johnson, Clayton & Boldin are a great starting set) Just remember that every year someone always finds a top D & Kicker on the waiver wire, so keep your eyes peeled.

I agree..SD still hasn't addressed their poor WR corps and I would expect that D's will continue to roll an extra DB to Gates. I think Brees is a good guy to have on your bench. He'll be consistent and get you through a bye week or a short period injury to your starter, plus SD is a run first team. (Take it with a grain of salt, because he was my starter in one of R. Rich's leagues last year and did well for me.)

Corrala's political/society rants on the radio version of Loveline are classic. I agree, he'd make a great president.
