Awww Shucks..... The Texans have done a decent job in their drafts, especially finding value in the middle rounds and their top picks have been decent save a couple of 2nd rounders in Gaffney & Joppru. However, they have never spent higher than a 3rd on an offensive lineman and nothing over a 4th on a tackle. The Tony Boselli incident not withstanding, the only decent attempt at a OT signing is Todd Wade. Failing to even attempt to protect your number 1 overall QB is unforgivable and Casserly should have been axed before Capers. The Texans have the weapons, they just don't have the trenches (sound familiar). If Casselry doesn't have the stones to ignore the media and fans and pass on Young or Bush for Ferguson, the Texans will be drafting top 5 again the following year. I still think Dom Capers will make a good HC for someone.

Didn't the Texans extend D. Davis this season? The knock on Davis is him missing 2-3 games a season because of injury. Besides that, he's proven himself to a valuable weapon, despite their excuse for an O-line. The Texans also have depth at RB with Wells and Morency, so while Bush may be the "glamour" choice, drafting him will probably set them back another three years unless they can find a completely new line through free agency.
