IMO Cage has filled some rolls superbly (Leaving Las Vegas, Raising Arizona, 8mm)... but then he usually negates it by appearing in some horrendous bomb like Firebirds, Snake Eyes or Honeymoon in Vegas (although the Flyin' Elvises [utah Chapter] saved the film.).

Hotter: Nick Lachey's ex-wife or new gf?
Kevbeau replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess Nick likes big cans. I went with the ex-wife as the links provided of the new gf were not flattering. -
I used frequent to Amstel Light, IMHO the best light beer on the market. But have since decided I would rather compromise elsewhere than with my beer. Having a Smithwick's while listening the the Sabres game.

I advocate Captain Chaos.

What do you think are the biggest draft hype lies
Kevbeau replied to Pyrite Gal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, Cutler did play at Vandy, but in this case it helps him. His W-L record doesn't reflect it, but he did well in a bad football program, playing a tough SEC schedule. Who knows, but I would propose Leinhart may be more of a system product and Cutler more of a gamer. -
The Texans have never used a pick higher than the 3rd on their O-line. I believe they took a guard once in the third. I'm still amazed Casserly has a job. Not to mention their D-Line needs work too.....sound familiar? Barring a miracle in free agency, if the Texans draft Bush, they'll be picking first again next year. By that point they'll need a QB as Carr will be shell shocked.

I still quote that line all the time..."Fraaa-Jeeel-Eh. Must be Italian." Hopefully he finally gets his turkey from the Bumpus Hounds.

Most people don't realize that there is a huge difference in a squat body bench pressing versus a taller person. Pat Kirwin was talking about the bench press on Sirius the other day and mentioned that of al the tests it was the one he paid the least attention to. His comment was something along the lines of "I don't particularly care how much weight a guy can move when he's lying on his back & not moving."

For The Super-Hero Movie Lovers Out There
Kevbeau replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wings is coming to DVD sometime in May. I'm not a huge fan of regular television, but started watching Wings reruns on USA during college and was hooked. Every character is funny in their own right, but Lowell (Church) and Antonio (Tony Shaloub) make the series. -

Thomas Hayden Church did his best work as Lowell Mather on "Wings." Man I miss that show. "Excuse me um almost sounded like you said there'd be no big sandwich. " -
Tribe Called Quest - Scenario. Probably not the best, but a favorite of mine. Honorable Mention 3rd Base - The Gas Face It's Tricky - Run DMC True Fuschnik - Fu Schnikens

Great point. Jackson Hole's one fault is it's southern exposure (and oh yeah...it's temperature inversions). As the days get longer, Jackson endures some extreme freeze/thaw cycles and it's snow conditions are all over the map. Most your Colorado resorts are East/West exposures so jsust move with the sun. Plus I think Vail has a good amount of northern exposure terrain on the backside. Additionally if conditions are bad, look at Keystone or A-Basin. They get the least amount of snow of the Summit County resorts, but have ideal mountian faces for retaining a quality snowpack.

If your going early April, you'll be right up against their closing date. Colorado has been kind to me for late spring season. They still get dumped on through May, however most of the resorts lease National Forest land and are required to shut down on a certain date. Additionally, most people don't realize March is their best snow month and start to turn towards warmer weather activites by that time, so it doesn't make economic sense to stay open longer. Two years ago, we snowboarded out there in 70 degree weather in early April... resort had a decent base and we had a blast. So, chances are conditions will be fine and crowds will be minimal. If you're up against closing weekend you may find that some restaraunts may be closed or have a minimal menu. Depending on your party's skill level...Vail for the back bowls and Blue Sky Basin...Beaver Creek for tree skiing and lasting snow conditions (less crowded). For the cruisers in your group, both do a great job grooming. Apres-ski in Vail. Katlenberg Kastle in Lionshead Village($4 litres of Dunkel!!!...well 4 years ago) Lionshead is being renovated, so it may be closed. In Beaver Creek, the Coyote Cafe.

Doesn't Victory brew Storm King? Regardless it's a primo brew. -
Iron City being pitched as Premium Beer?

There was a beer out of Austin called Celis. Started by a guy from one of the better Belgian breweries. I think they have since been bought out, but you can probably still find it. -
You are fined one credit for a violation of the Verbal Morality Statute. Life imitates art?...if you can call Demolition Man art. I used to think it was funny, now it's scenarios on future society are scary.

On a similar note. When I first moved to Atlanta, Three Dollar Cafe in Buckhead had Genny Cream Ale listed as a British Import...and yes I did order it to verify it was truly Scream Ale. -

I dated a few tennis players in college. Can't stand the sport, but I recommend that every woman take it up....does a body good.

Warroad was ranked 3rd in the country last year (non-prep, but from what I've heard, they can compete with the top prep schools). I don't believe the rankings have been compiled this year. ...so it's not like the women's team played yokels from Abe Lincoln High.

Three Floyds Brewing The Alpha King is outstanding. Also, Canada is home to one of the world's greatest brewers: Unibroue I like every single beer they make. Particularly the Chambly, La Fin Du Monde and the Maudite. Trois Pistoles is also nice. For those of you in Atlanta, I would also recommend Terrapin Brewery's Rye Ale, for nights on the deck/patio, or their Big Hoppy Monster for something with a little more bite. Sweetwater's Holiday offering is outstanding, one of the best beers I've ever had, but unfortunately is no longer available. Definitely look for it next year. I like Atlanta Brewing Co.'s offerings on tap, but they seem off to me coming out of a bottle, particularly the Red Brick.
