General advice is to avoid "new" models. Usually takes a year or two to work out the bugs. Is it a body redesign or a totally new model?

FBI Issues Alert for 11 Missing Egyptian Men
Kevbeau replied to Tux of Borg's topic in Off the Wall Archives
My bad, nobody found it odd that 12,239 of 12,250 students were from the United States. -

Nobody thought 11 Eqyptian men enrolling in Montana State University to be a little odd? -

It's the media trying to stir the pot. 95% of Americans could care less. -
August Movies: Snakes on a Plane, Talladega Nights
Kevbeau replied to Mark Vader's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Saw Talladega Nights this weekend. All I can say is whoever wrote the script is brilliant. Plays to the southern crowd with the Nascar theme. Plays to the northern crowd because it's a funny look at southern culture stereotypes. Living here in the Atlanta burbs, there were a few parts of the movie tha tmy southern neighbors didn't find funny, that I found hilarious. -
So is this jetstream I keep hearing about.

Rum is defective? Seems to work just fine to me.

Stanton Boyd: What kind of a name is Poon? Fletch: Comanche Indian. While I thought Garden State was an excellent movie, some things need to be left alone. You can't really compare Batman Begins, as the original Batman series was such a train wreck after the first movie.

Thanks KRC. I'll give it a shot sometime in August.

I've always been partial to Fanball. From experience, I do know that ESPN is the worst.

There's whole legions of snobs out there who wouldn't touch anything by a macrobrewery no matter how good it is. Even Sam Adams doesn't get much of a pass on their large volume offerings. Blue Moon isn't the best example of a Witbier, but it tastes decent and is readily available, even in chain restaurants. I have to agree with Johnny Coli. Every beer has its place. While I enjoy craft brew immensley, when I get done landscaping the yard, I don't reach for a Victory Stormking.

We've come full circle. A thread devoted to the number of razor blades offered in a cartridge has morphed into a discussion of breasts. Although pretty much every conversation I have with my buddies eventually goes this way.

Local Beers: Atlanta Sweetwater Brewery 420 Extra Pale Ale: This stuff is the scnizzle. Especially on draft. Sweet Georgia Brown: I'm not a big fan of brown sugar beers Blue: Ditto with Blueberry beer. IPA: Haven't tried. Exodus Porter: It's decent, haven't had it in a while. Limited Releases Festive Ale: Limited holiday release. Places can't keep it in stock. Easily one of the best brews I have ever had. Summer Hummer: Haven't had it on draft yet. Nice and refreshing out of a bottle. Double D's: Double fermented Belgian Ale. Nice!! Happy Ending: Commemerative batch to celebrate Georgia repealing their ridiculous law limiting beer to 6% alcohol. Hope they bring it back, as it was quite tasty. www.sweetwaterbrew.com/ Terrapin (Athens, GA) Rye Pale Ale: Same rating as the 420. "This stuff is the scnizzle. Especially on draft." Cream Ale: Haven't had. Limited Releases Rye Squared, Imperial Pale Ale: Have the last two from my local beer store sitting in my fridge. I'm a devoted hophead and this feeds my addiction. Imperial Pilsner: Had it once. Decent, but wasn't spectacular. Big Hoppy Monster: Another hophead friendly beer. Listed as an Imperial Red Ale. Can't wait till it returns in the fall. Wake n' Bake Coffee Oatmeal Stout: Very smooth and complex. Nice for sitting around the fire in winter. www.terrapinbeer.com Atlanta Brewing Co. Red Brick Ale: Used to be one of my favorites. Still like it on draft, but they did something with their ingredients or process and I don't care for it out of the bottle anymore. They also do a Pale, a Blonde, a Summer Hefeweizen, and a Winter Choco-Oatmeal Porter. Haven't tried any. www.atlantabrewing.com

If you don't mind sharing the recipe for Blue, I'd like to take a crack at it.

As others have confirmed, the Fit is indeed all Japan. I stand corrected. I'll have to check to see if this is a satndard Japanese procedure. Roll-out a new vehicle based out of Japan and gradually move manufacturing over to this side of the pond.
-
Looks like the build the Accord/Element in Ohio and Oddesey/Pilot in Alabama (according to what I can find on their site). I've dealt with Japanese manufacturers in the past and my girlfriend currently works for one. Once you get a glimpse behind the curtain, it loses some of its mystique. Where they do beat the American manufacturers in my experience is rework once the vehicles are off the line.
-
Happened to my Accord....I'm also on my second transmission and chances are I'm going to have to replace the master cylinder in the near future. Ed, I work with Japanese manufacturers...chances are your Fit was built in the U.S. Check your VIN number, part of it will indicate the manufacturing location. That means your car was probably assembled somewhere in the SE by people no more qualified than those building cars up in Detroit. They probably just don't get paid as much.

Hilarious...people are way to uptight. I also heard he had a line that had something about giving up a nut for a chance to host the Espys.

I have to agree that the onus is on the owner in most dog attack cases. Yes, there a certain breeds that are more agressive than others, but I would argue that the reason these particular breeds show a trend in attack statistics is because of the type of the people who own them. All the cool guys in Atlanta own pit bulls. If you don't have a couple of pit bulls running around your yard, or sitting in the bed of your truck, you aren't cool. These are the same people that can barely take care of themselves let alone an animal.

There's a vacuum switch that closes and activates your brake lights when you depress the brake pedal. If this switch is shot, the shift-lock solenoid won't energize allowing you to change gears. Easy way to tell if the vacuum switch is spent, is that your rear brake lights won't work. As a precaution most newer cars will lock the tranny in shift, until you use a key or screwdriver to depress a shift lock switch. If this is the case, it's an easy change out for the vacuum switch. Problem is sometimes the only place to get the part is a dealer. Even if the brake lights are fine and the vacuum switch is OK, it still may just be the solenoid.

Great movie. Just turn your brain off, sit back and enjoy the ride. Cooper rocks. "This isn't where I parked my car." So, what's the etiquette on boners here? Do I role over and dig a hole out or just let my flag fly? Oh, here it is. Bratislava. Hmm. Capital of Slovakia. Oh, here's a fun fact: You made out with your sister, man! There's your R rating right there.
