I'll reserve judgement until I get confirmation from somone other than the crack squad of Versus announcers. Every shot of the crowd revealed plenty of vintage and AGH jerseys. Granted, I watched it on TV and I'm sure they were there, but I didn't see any of the new design.

Possibly? Not that I'm complaining, but how did she think that dress was a good idea?

I'm heading there Friday. Combining a long weekend with work. I can see it getting rescheduled.

www.icejerseys.com They had the original whites last time I checked.

Won't help if the game is on OLN. When televised nationally CI won't have the feed and you have to endure the Chinese Water Torture known as OLN...er I mean Versus. Also, when playing the SE division, for whatever reason CI usually has the feeds from those teams (TB, FLA, ATL, CAR, WAS), which comprise the 2nd level of hell when it comes to announcing. (The first is reserved for Joe Theismann.) On a positive note, you will get plenty of games with Rick & Jim.

I saw this. 11 Alive Story “I’m a true example of how Harry Potter books can open your life to witchcraft,” said Jordan Susch. Susch says she read the first Harry Potter novel when she was in the fourth grade. Two years later, she says, she and her friends were practicing witchcraft. “We wanted to know if spells, potions and curses worked. By the seventh grade, I was so depressed, I set a date to kill myself,” Susch said. [Me thinks she has bigger issues than Harry Potter] The other kids that are quoted sound intelligent, hopefully offsetting the one above. “I want to protect my kids, children and others from evil,” Mallory said. “Not fill their minds with it.” Mallory wrote on her appeal forms that she was objecting to the books because of their “evil themes, witchcraft, demonic activity, murder, evil blood sacrifice, spells and teaching children all of this.” Gwinnett Post She's also claiming anti-Christian bias [sigh] Thanks for looking out for us Laura

They are a bar first, so still allow smoking) Three Dollar Cafe (chain...good beer selection...good food) Taco Mac (chain...awesome beer selection...so so food) -

They are...just hasn't happened yet. Don't know how long it's been since you left (and no offense if you still have friends & family there), but northern Clayton County won't be making CNN's top ten places to live. -

I'll wager that Bettman probably has his slimy hands in this somehow. -
Hasn't lied to me yet. Except those damn BowFlex people. Half hour three times a week my @ss.

My bad...the Coyotes have the best uniforms in the league.
-
That about sums it up for me. Take a poll. When people ask which teams have the best uniforms, it's always is the original six. When was the last time you heard that an expansion team or team with revised uniforms had "great uniforms?" The only one that comes to mind is the Avalanche? Look at Vancouver or LA. They've stumbled through the last few decades, throwing out atrocity after atrocity. There was nothing wrong with the original Sabres uniforms. I work with "Ivy League" marketing schleps every day (and I myself only have 2 classes to go for my MBA), so I know where this crap is coming from. They probably have reams of data from mall intercept groups of people who wouldn't know a puck from a donut, but all the numbers say yes. The problem is that people will buy it for the kids at Xmas because it's new. We get the same crap with Coke. Schiatt...Diet Coke with Bacon...what the hell, I'll try it. And the schlep gets patted on the back for a job well done. The Sabres at least had an idea ahead of time of public acceptance. Quinn has no excuse. He's well aware of how people feel considering the backlash. Obviously he had no contingency plan in place and now we get stuck with this. If they had a contest for elemntary schoold to submit your design for the new Sabres logo I'd give it a pass, but to get something like this from a professional designer. Dude...axe yourself know...only way your work will be worth anything.

She got up in the morning...looked in the mirror and said "damn, I look good." Either that or she has an underappreciated sense of humor.

Bombardier is the only manufacturer that comes to mind. However, I think they just compete in the regional/business jet market. -
In my experience, Cream Ale (when done right) is actually pretty good. Sam Choy's (Honolulu) does a pretty good one and Terrapin (very good...Atlanta) has rebranded their's as a Golden Ale. I've never had Genny outside of Cazenovia Park and that was years ago, so I can't speak to its ranking among Cream Ales. My Dad gave up Scream Ale for Coors Light. That in a nutshell, tells you all you need to know.

When I lived in Hoboken, there was a pizzeria that sold baked ziti pizza by the slice. I'd have it for dinner 3-4 times a week. Man I miss that place. I believe it was on Adams St. Also anyone remember a place on south of Rochester called the Pizza Corner (?) I believe it was in an old store/house at the intersection of 15 and Erie Station, heading out towards Rush. They had Lasagna Pizza back in the early/mid 90's that was pretty damn good.

Dude, you should see UGA (currently there for Masters)...and I've heard Florida is better. My degree from RIT has been good to me, but I should be seeking damages to make up for the years of torture. -
There's been som great albums listed. As for some "newer" ones: Someone mention The Hip: Live Between Us - Well worth it. Not a big fan of "Ahead By a Century," but really like the live version. Our Lady Peace: Live (Calgary & Edmonton) O.A.R.: 34th & 8th Jackopierce: Live From the Americas (acoustic) Dropkick Murphy's: Live on St. Patrick's Day - I don't think one could ever fully capture the energy of one their concerts, but it's a good try.

Police Chief Grady: I will have the enchilada platter with two tacos and no guacamoles. Mike? Local Officer Rando: Yeah, chief. I'll have a CHINCHILLA! Rabbit: I don't get it. Tacos? Thorny: They think I'm Mexican. Rabbit: You're not? When it came out, my cousin told me to go see it. I thought it was a kids movie, so I took my young cousins....whoops.

Taj: [Jumps up] WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT? Hutch: In your room a few days ago. I'm trying to spark this bong, but the damn thing won't light. Taj: That's no bong... It's for my shlong. [Hutch starts coughing and gagging] Hutch: Hold up, I just put my mouth on your c***-pump? [Taj nods his head] Hutch: Oh damn!
