Too bad most of his tackles were down field. We nee dto shore up against the run a little....Time to up Gut's dosage. TGreg...thought Matrix was moved to LOLB? A good portion of his tackles were on the right according to the play by play. It doesn't make a difference to me where he plays, I'm just curious if the system subs based on energy need regardless of primary LB position.

I did the same thing with the other guys I have on the Meatballs with the exception of Jobu. I also boosted all of them to get their levels up as quickly as possible. I've got two guys "seasoning" in the S. American league. A QB and another LB I'm trying to build the right way. Also as of a week ago the S. American league was dominated by CPU owners, so playing time was easy to come by and one year contracts were the norm. Fortunately, they're both to a point where they're still starters on their respective teams and seem to be coming along nicely.

I haven't contributed to any of MAtrix's special attributes yet (concentrating on the raw skill build) From what I've found the consensus is that compared to other postitions those attributes aren't as important to LB's. However, having said that, let me know if the change becomes permanent and I'll start in on the pass rushing attributes.

I agree. I built Jobu as the a third or fourth option to take advantage of mismatches. He's stepped up lately, but don't know if he's well rounded enough to be a primary target.

For the budget concious. Try BV Coastal Pinot Noir. Can find it in Kroger for around $10 (cheaper if on sale). Not sure what that translates to under other state taxes. Sebastiani makes a great Cab ($15-20) I'm currently working my way through a case a of Domaine du Pesquier Cotes du Rhone. I know Cotes du Rhone is an appellation, but I believe they also use it as the name of this particular red. Bold & Spicy.....very nice! yes? I really enjoy Ledson wines out of Sonoma. They specialize in Zins, a favorite of mine. Plus their Russian River Chardonnay is also excellent.

Uh....OK. I believe CK is also one of the best comedy writers out there. ANyone back me up on that? Doug Stanhope has a special on Showtime right now. I highly recommend it. Also, Robert Schimmel's older stuff is great.

Stumpy got caught up at immigration with a "paperwork" issue, but should be ready for next game. Considering our current CPU punter can't average 20yds he should be an upgrade for our game against the PPPers.

I caught myself and then remembered the Dodgers aren't the only team in the greater Los Angeles area.

I actually had to take a Wonderlic as part of a job interview last year. I ended up answering around 45 out of the 50 before time ran out (20 minutes I believe). The questions aren't all as easy as that sample....but some are. They wouldn't tell me my score, but I did get hte job offer FWIW . The hardest part for me (and I would guess for most people) is knowing you're up against a clock. The feeling of being forced to rush your decision making is difficult, a la the link with professinal football.

I joined a vanpool at the begining of this year going from the Peachtree City area of Atlanta to Marietta (90 miles round trip). It probably saves me around $400 a month in gas, but I'm now spending that on hookers and blow. But don't worry, I also cut back on premium cable channels.
