  1. Go under Format Cells:Number:Custom and choose mm:ss That should get you what you need.
  2. In the summer of '94 I went against my Dad's sage advice and bought a 72' GTO. It only had 24K on a very angry 455HO which put out a S@#$ton of power. It also sucked down gas like a Motley Crue weekend booze bender and I had to replace the tires all the time because I'd drift it around turns. I also stupidly used to race my roomate ('73 Camaro SS) from RIT, back to our rental house in Rush. Looked just like this one. http://www.gtoalley.com/72gtob.html Side note, my Dad's sage advice led me to buy my 2nd car not long after, right after the first snowfall of that year. Wish I never sold that car. Keep telling myself I'm getting another one.
  3. Anyone willing to risk it? He should be put down and save someone the future loss & sorrow.
  4. 900 Grand to a couple kid s who should be taken out back and beaten. Ahhhhh...the American Dream,
  5. Sounds like these guys are on the "cost management" train. Either that or someone directly has a vested interest (bonus) in OI. Atlanta job market isn't all that great yet...you know as well as I do that there's a zillion SEC grads waiting for a job "in the city" and alumni willing to give every joker who can woof a job. I'd gauge the peer employee reaction and find an exec with a sympathetic ear if that's possible.
  6. I was wondering the same thing.
  7. Alluding to your previous post; "And if i said my experience as a white male made me less biased than a minority, wouldn't i be lambasted as racist? Of course i would. " Maybe my sarcasm meter is broken, but are you calling here a racist for holding what you consider essentially the same position as your own?
  8. That's one way to look at her statement. As a white male, I find nothing racist or insulting about her statement. They way I read it is that she's touting experience as her main qualification.
  9. Dogs need a consistent schedule. Have you tried gradually shifting his going out time to a more reasonable hour? MY girlfriends mom spent a week with us and totally threw off our puppies schedule. (She gets up at 5:00am.) That was two weeks ago and I'm still trying to work them back to 6:30.
  10. Because the media doesn't consider it newsworthy and they don't get the "fear factor" ratings they desire. Retreivers probably bite more people than "pit bulls," but as one poster said, the results tend to be more extreme. Look at your average retreiver owner versus your average "pit bull" owner and tell me it's a breed issue and not an owner issue.
  11. Glanced at it and it gave me nightmare flashbacks. [shudder] Granted, not an easy test, but if the job depended upon it, one would think they would prepare?
  12. No, but I am implying that there are oodles of heterosexual parents out there that have royally screwed up their kids.
  13. Well, Jules Winfield quoted the bible all the time and I think we can all agree he was a bad ass.
  14. Bold emphasis mine. In some instances yes, but c'mon....I'm pretty sure that heterosexuals have used up all the "sanctity of marriage" credits.
  15. Damn. Back to the drawing board.
  16. Cigarette smokers are a burden on our system, so they should pay more.... Soda drinkers are a burden on our health system, so they should pay more.... People who don't excercise are a burden on our health system, so they should pay more...(don't laugh, Japan is doing this)Old people are a burden on our health system... My point is where is the line drawn? You can make an arguement for just about any type of behavior/consumption adversley affecting something. Also, according to the article, the fed gov't would raise 24 billion over 4 years with the tax on soda...which is probably about 50% of the cost of fighting the inevitable lawsuits, not to mention whatever the cost of collecting/overseeing/maintaining such taxes. Soda Czar anyone? I know, let's tax people for being stupid. Anyone bring that up yet? Can I claim it?
  17. I've tried the three loose screws (good) and the used automobile parts (excellent). As for closure types: Screw top>plastic cork>real cork The screw top probably has a polypropylene liner, so essentially your seal is plastic same as the p-cork. However a screw top has less chance of temperature creep than the p-cork, therefore is more likely to hold its seal over time (keep in mind a plastic cork would rarely ever fail.) The only concern I would have storing with a plastic based liner, is that plastic can have an affect on flavor, particularly when exposed to high temperatures (acetaldehydes/lubricants in the plastic can give the product a sweeter flavor.) As most wine (at least expensive wine) is stored at a consistent temp, this may not be a factor. Also, I haven't kept completely up to date, but they had pretty much gotten a handle on this problem as of 5 years ago and is probably a non-issue. Chef, correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that many wines that are stored long term are uncorked every few years and refilled from a "donor" bottle to compensate for evaporation through the cork. So...I'd have no problem storing an expensive bottle of wine long term with a screw cap. I'd say it would have a better chance of maintaining it's structure over time than a similar bottle using a real cork.
  18. The homework thread by far. Cutting Drew with Diginity ramps it up in just the third post and it's a roller coaster ride from there. So many good quotes, but this one is may be my favorite: "NJSue, this is a family. And this thread proves it. Because if my sister sat at a computer which was ONLINE and EMAILED me to ask where she could find a site for conversion, I would go to Expedia.com, buy a plane ticket to Buffalo, go buy a two-by-four, spray paint GOOGLE.COM on it, and nail her in the face with it. 19. Hmmmmm....I pictured more of a Frank the Tank moment. "We're going streaking!!! Snoop!!!"
  20. You could park your car in there.
  21. My only question is "Why?" "You run much?" "When chased."
  22. Yeah...I'm hoping bj's get voted in sometime before 2020. FWIW I think Perdue is an asshat. The whole pray for rain crap at the state capitol sealed the deal for me. I love my job here (so moving isn't an option right now) and I like Atlanta, but it's going to put my blood pressure through the roof. "Serenity Now!!!"
  23. IMO Coffee makes the world go round. For as Sh@tty a cup of coffee Starbucks makes, they do sell a whole bean from Komodo that I find primo. My brother-in-law and I have dubbed it "the dragon" (I know...real orginal) and it's the perfect jumpstart to the morning, especially if your heading out to hit the slopes. Not to mention it may be the silver bullet to solving world constipation....."The dragon is angry."
  24. First...this guy sucks as a wizad. He needs to magic himself up junk that at least gravity has some sort of affect on. Second, I thought the cops handled it well. They gave him plenty of opportunity to cooperate and tried to originally take him down as gentle as possible as first. If they wanted to, any one of thm could have given Gandolf the Tiny a major beatdown. Think of all the therapy this guys going to need now that the world has seen all that he has to offer. Dude won't ever get a date again.
  25. Special pocket? You can stash your weed in it!
