This is what my dad did. For his draft year his number came up in single digits. Joined the AF and after flight school ended up doing 3 tours “over” Nam (123s and 52s.) Finally retired in 92 after spending my senior year in the Emirates for the Gulf War. edit: he voted for Trump (as a Democrat) or more accurately, voted against Hilary.

A couple years back our VP had a coworker of mine put hook his laptop to a projector because our project was being delayed by an analytic model he was “struggling” with in excel. Dude had his monitor order backwards and all of a sudden poker buddies is up there on the big screen for the entire project team to see. Guy was gone a month later.

Possible....you would think more people would ask how these people have the wealth/lifestyle that they do...on a job that pays 200K a year. (Before someone points it out, I get that some of them had money before being elected)

Can verify. All our packaging/manufacturing standards are geared to meet California requirements. The only "exception" to that rule might be Harbor Freight. They "claim" to sell differing models.

So if they made...say $35 K a year they'd be able to afford that $400 emergency? At some point, people need to realize that greatest impact on their current state is due to your previous choices and actions, not the guiding hand of some unseen force. Also, we have a very blurred line and what is considered a "need" vs a "want."Or to state it another way, do they not have $400 because they simply can't afford it, or did that money go somewhere else.

You mean actually talk to my wife? jk...I think it’s vice’s “guerrilla” style that plays more at an emotional level and that appeals to people. Why would someone who’s willing to get their hands dirty, not have an agenda. I’ll admit they do a good job getting their reporters out in the field but unbiased is not what I would call them. I don’t watch any of the MSM channels excluding heavy doses of Fox in the background when visiting my parents but I imagine it’s much worse. Here’s a typical conversation at the dinner table: her: did you hear what trump said today? me: no, I don’t care. Let’s talk about game of thrones her: well the Supreme Court...Congress...blah, blah, blah me: that’s not how the judicial branch works her: why are you being a d$&@? Also, Samantha Bee is an unfunny harpy. Besides that I have no opinion.
