Anthony Lynn fired by Chargers
BuffaloBills1998 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I disagree since Gruden is getting 10-15 million plus 25 million in signing bonus a year. I’m sure Terry has been in discussions with Daboll about staying and I think he will offer him a good hunk of money to stay. Daboll is in my opinion the best OC in the NFL but wouldn’t make him a great HC. -

Who’s to say Terry won’t pay him 10 million?? He could set the market for OC’s. Terry’s not cheap -

Doesn’t necessarily mean he will get it, coaches interview all the time but it’s up to the front office who gets picked. There’s a lot more names out there than just Daboll -

You never know, maybe he doesn’t want to be a HC. Some guys are better coordinators than HC’s. And if Terry backs up the brinks truck for him I think he will stay. -

This here as well. Part of me thinks he will stay and that Pegula will pay the man enough money to convince him to stay, I think Brian knows he’s got something special here and most of his family lives in Buffalo and he grew up a Bills fan and called this his dream job when he first got it. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Pay the man Terry and keep him -

I was just wondering, I think the logical choice is promoting Dorsey. -

Do we consider the thought of bringing Anthony Lynn back if Brian goes? -
He won’t take this job, Urban is known to duck out of dodge when the going gets tough. Nick Saban 2.0 in the NFL I think once Saban realized you couldn’t coach adults the way he coached kids back in LSU that he didn’t want any part of the NFL and used the Dolphins taking Culpepper over Brees as an excuse to get out.

I think he will. Flores is very smart and knows that he can’t trust Tua. I think Fitz stays at Miami cause that’s really the only place he can start right now. He’s not gonna sign with a bad team going nowhere, he’s 38 and this is gonna be his first year making the playoffs
-
Fitz is staying with Miami, I fully believe they either draft or bring in another QB from free agency. They’re not sold on Tua and I don’t think the team is fully behind Tua either. No way Flores let’s Fitz go
-
100 bucks says Fitz stays with Miami, they’re not gonna let him go. I can see another 2-3 year deal for him. Flores and company are not sold on Tua and they hold the 3rd overall pick due to the Texans losing today.

All I have to ask is why did some people on this board want Gruden??? Good lord he’s beyond horrible, he might be worse than Fisher and Ryan combined. Talk about all ego and no action to back it up, 18-29 since coming back and 1-5 in the later part of the season 2 years in a row. If I’m Davis I fire gruden. I think he lost the locker room with that 19 seconds

Week 15 Around The League

Lawrence is going to the jags 🤣🤣🤣, bet you they fire Gase immediately -
We’ll I’ll put it this way and not that he’d care much. But if he continues to have more losing seasons and gets fired then fans will question his super bowl win as a farce since he walked into the best situation any coach could walk into minus the QB spot. That’s why he should’ve just stayed in the booth, could’ve kept his legacy where it was. And that’s Why Cowher won’t come back, he wants to keep his legacy where it is and doesn’t want to risk screwing it all up. There’s already raider fans begging for Jon to be fired
-
I think what’s happening with gruden is exactly why Cowher doesn’t want to get out of retirement. At this point these guys are just a Name. That’s it, Jon got a 10 year 100 million contract and so far has produced 3 losing seasons out of the 10 years. I bet you gruden probably wishes he stayed at ESPN in the booth.
-
His offensive play calling is a dinosaur, he doesn’t adjust to the talent around him and would rather force his system on the players, he’s overrated. I could be wrong but last time I checked statistically he’s at the same level as Jeff Fisher. The 10 year 100 million contract ain’t working out to well lol
-
Might be an over reaction but I think that’s all she wrote on Derek Carr as a raider. Mariota is cheaper and moved the ball down the field better than Carr. I would say Gruden is worse than Lynn. His play calling is Atrocious and he single-handedly cost the Raiders a playoff spotAtrocious and he single-handedly cost the Raiders a playoff spot
