I think we get Harris or Williams, but I agree we should go defense heavy in the draft
-
I think we’re still drafting either Harris or Williams if they fall to us. Yeldon and singletary are most likely getting cut or traded.

He was one of Frisco’s main backs during their Super Bowl run. He’s fast but has had a hard time staying healthy and he didn’t do much of anything in Miami and they traded for him last year to go along with Jordan Howard and that RB group went no where fast
-
He didn’t do much in Miami, don’t know how I feel about this signing. But I trust Beane

I agree most athletes get roped in. But like you in this case I’m not really shocked. How many celebrities/athletes have we seen advocate for women’s rights and talk to the media on how much they respect women only to find out that they have lots of skeletons in the closet. It’s disappointing for sure on the Watson thing now.

Sammy Watkins in Buffalo

He just tweeted to a fan asking if he would come back to Buffalo and he replied you never know with a wink emoji. I really hope Beane and McD aren’t considering this -
Bills sign Mitch Trubisky, QB.

I wonder how many teams were trying to sign Mitch before he signed with us. I’m still shocked he ended up coming here. I love that we upgraded the back up QB spot -
Thanks and Farewell to Matt Barkley

Not too many Frank Reich’s around in the NFL unless you count Fitz. I liked Barkley but didn’t love him like most on here do. Could’ve won that patriots game until he threw that INT that sealed the game. Barkley in some ways is a better QB than Tyrod. He’s not afraid to throw the ball downfield and take chances where as Tyrod was extremely afraid to take chances and usually would take off if his first or second read wasn’t there. -
A remaining FA pass rusher or the draft?

I think Beane signs Clowney to a 1 year vet minimum nothing guaranteed type of contract. Maybe McD and Fraizer Can turn him around 🤷♂️? -
Bills sign TE Jacob Hollister

It’s not me lol the guy obviously is taking it personally that I don’t want Ertz and that Ertz is most likely not coming here anyways. But I agree we’re all on the same team. -
Bills sign TE Jacob Hollister

Eagles aren’t going to budge, they want a 3rd round pick and Ertz at this point in his career is worth no more than 5-6th round pick. If Beane trades a 3rd for him he would be overpaying completely. And I’m sure Beane knows that your better off drafting someone. My opinion I would’ve liked to see them get Cook instead before the chargers got him -
Bills sign TE Jacob Hollister

Yes it does, im from Buffalo NY originally and had the privilege to be able to see Kelly,Reed,Thurman,Smith, Talley play at a high level in their prime. Watched football with my father every Sunday and Monday. -
Bills sign TE Jacob Hollister

Lol to insult you?? Don’t flatter yourself Buddy. And yes I do know what I’m talking about since I’ve been watching football for a long time and if Beane really wanted ertz he’d already be on the team. And you want him because you think it’ll solve our TE problem and you think he’d be one of the pieces to help us get in the SB next year in which that’s quite a bit to bank on especially when we still need a true number 1 pass rusher to help the defense and a RB to take the pressure off of Allen’s shoulders more than a 30 year old TE coming off a career low and an injury too boot. But yes I don’t know what I’m talking about 🤣😂 -
Bills sign TE Jacob Hollister

No I saw him play and he definitely lost some steps. Granted yes Wentz lost confidence in himself and he regressed badly but that still doesn’t change the fact that Ertz is starting to decline himself and that he was the third best TE on that Eagles team last year. You guys want him because he’s a big name and because of what he did 3 years ago. I’m glad your not in charge of the Front office -
Bills sign TE Jacob Hollister
BuffaloBills1998 replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s because people are making excuses for him because he played with a bad QB on a bad team. Some guys want to give him the benefit of a doubt for some reason. Just like you idk why -

Ertz coming here is a long shot anyways. Philly wants too high of a pick and Buffalo won’t give it up for a TE that’s in decline. Unless he gets released and signs with us immediately for the vet minimum, we’re most likely drafting one and developing him -

So I’m sure this means no more Ertz to Buffalo. Philly was probably asking to high of a draft pick and they weren’t budging off what they wanted -
So he didn’t even consider either the Jets or Raiders lol. But then again there’s the million dollar question, would you rather play with Big Ben for one more year or play with Darnold or Carr?? I would take Rothlesberger even in decline over Darnold and Carr.
-
Wow so his market was lower than expected. Especially after he told his teammates he wasn’t coming back lol From what I read only the Jets and Raiders made offers, looks like they might’ve been cheap offers and probably realized his market is not as big as he originally thought and that he’s not in major demand
