Carr looked like mediocre last week and got bailed out by Jacobs and the defense. To beat the chiefs they’re gonna have to run the ball heavily and control the clock.

I hope they beat the chiefs but I have zero faith in Carr. Guy just isn’t a franchise QB. If I’m McDaniels I’m running the ball the whole game and telling Adams either deal with it or sit down lol

Good question, that’s why if Carolina calls Beane back and asks him if he wants CMC I wouldn’t give them anything more than a late 5-7th round pick and would request that they restructure his contract before finalizing the deal because of his injury history. But it was reported before that we were talking to the panthers last offseason about getting CMC. Wouldn’t be shocked if those calls are being made again

Reality is, it’s all about the o line. I remember when an old beat up Darren McFadden rushed for 1,089 yards back in 2015. Its all about how you coach the Line and the schemes that the coaches design

they’re saying if we trade for CMC then we’ll only be on the hook for 1.035 million and could release/restructure him in the spring and wouldn’t be on the hook for his 3 year 36 million guaranteed money that’s left on his current contract in Carolina

Depends on what kind of draft pick Carolina wants back in compensation. If it’s either a 1st or second round pick then the answer would obviously be NO!!! If it’s a 5th-7th round pick then fine. But I doubt the panthers would settle for anything less than an early 2nd or 3rd. Agreed, he’s a solid college coach. I would use the next 4 years as a vacation and possibly do some commentating before going back into coaching

As an athlete who runs the ball there’s no one better in the business. As a passer he’s mediocre at best, 19-32 174 yards 1 td and 1 INT does not warrant a contract that has more guaranteed money than what Watson is getting from Cleveland. He wants more money than Watson and his play as a passer hasn’t warranted that kind of guaranteed money.

After that INT I’m sure Harbaugh and the GM are gonna be looking for QBS in the 23 draft. You can’t pay Lamar what he wants for the little production he puts out as a passer

They should consider trading players to get draft picks back. They aren’t doing anything this year and probably for the future as well. You have a bunch of aging/old players that are on their last leg. O line is a mess, no running game, Stafford is wearing down etc. the only thing they have is Cooper and Aaron and that’s about it

I think he’ll be out of the league pretty soon if he keeps this level of play up. No team is gonna want to touch him when he hits FA in 23
