Packers may win today, but bills should beat them by 14 easily imo
Still a lot of football left and Rodgers can’t do *****. If GB continues makes enough mistakes then I can see Washington escaping with a win

Yeah, GB & TB are pretty bad. I think the Brady/Rodgers era will be ending soon.
I know I saw GB 3rd and 25 and I’m thinking how the ***** does an Aaron Rodgers led GB team end up 3rd and 25 lol. Chances are this’ll be the last season for both Rodgers and Brady playing. Rodgers retiring would be his middle finger to the packers organization.

Sure, why not
I’m not against the idea. In fact I would find it downright hilarious if Brady actually pulled that

If they lose to Carolina, Brady should just call it a career
So do what Namath did to the Rams back in 77?

The Colts’ strategy of renting ancient, washed-up QBs has to end at some point. That place is in purgatory.I think this might be the end of the road for Reich as HC in Indy. Which is too bad cause I think he’s a good coach.

Matt Ryan needs to consider retirement after this season lol. Guy just can’t throw the football anymore

Did you miss Bills-Ravens earlier this year?
There was nothing electric about Jackson’s game in passing the football. He can run it but a 144 total passing yards and 2 INTS is not electric in the slightest

Because he is electric. And if teams allow him to, he WILL destroy you. He has a very elite skill set, but that does not make him unstoppable on the level of the “true two” as I’ve been calling them (Mahomes and Allen).Electric??? I don’t see it lol.

Ravens defensive backfield is BAD!!
Lamar Jackson is even worse. How the media claimed him to be an MVP candidate is beyond me

It's not like we couldn't use some depth in the slot.
Shakir should be starting. If he were to get hurt, Hamler could fill in. If Davis or Diggs got hurt, Shakir could play some outside with Hamler taking over in the slot.
I'd prefer to never see McKenzie or Kumerow start another game. We have zero WR depth right now.
You're right that OBJ would solve this issue, but we have no idea if he'll want to sign here, or when he will be ready.
Love Hamler for a 4th/5th.
I don't think obj is coming here. I think he wants to stay in LA. Beane might as well make a move. If OBJ was really coming here then he would’ve already signed.

Instead Beane keeps spending 2nds and 3rds drafting lesser RB’s. Is that better?
Would it be better that we waste 4-5 picks on a washed up injured prone RB??

No he hasn’t been hurt 2-3 years. He was hurt 2 different seasons at Car. You are not correctnot correct huh??

No offense, but these are not comparable situations. Gurley had a degenerative knee issue that was always going to shorten his career. CMC stayed injury free his entire football life from HS to College to the NFL with the exception of some non career threatening injuries the previous 2 years. His career does not seem close to coming to a close.
This board tried to basically proclaim Saquan and CMC careers were all but done as high level players this offseason...yet one is leading the NFL in scrimmage yards and the reason his team is 5-1 and the other was playing so well that the Niners just traded most their 2023 draft to get him.
That’s not true at all. CMC had injury problems in Stanford. Minus 2 years his injury problems worsened in Carolina as he hasn’t played a full season in almost 2-3 years. And this is not a comparison it’s a reminder that RBs don’t last especially ones who have an injury history. CMC is only 2 years younger than Gurley. We’ll see how things play out for him in San Fran

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/10/21/todd-gurley-hasnt-officially-retired-but-says-hes-most-definitely-done/ only 28 years old. Seeing this makes me glad that Beane passed on trading for CMC. This is why the RB position is a dime a dozen position.

I'm starting to think that way too.
But it would be strange in the modern NFL for a QB to lose it that quickly (and at "just" 33). We saw Cam Newton drop off a cliff, but he was a different kind of run-heavy QB. Peyton Manning somehow went from All World to one of the worst QBs in football in the summer between his age 38 and 39 seasons, but he had previously had serious neck surgery and maybe there was an expiration date on that. The more typical decline today is what we see in Colts "one last run" QBs: Rivers and now Ryan. Guys who maybe can't carry a team the way they used to but who still can have big games many times over the course of a season. Maybe Joe Flacco too, but he was hardly in the same league as the other guys even at his peak. So I'm gonna say Wilson will rebound, but with nothing like the confidence I had before the season started.
I don’t think Wilson is going to rebound I think he’s done. I mean we all saw how Bledsoe hit the wall/crashed and burned and I think the same thing is happening with Russell. Sean Payton in a interview with Cowherd said he wouldn’t take the denver job if Russell is still the starting QB by the end of this season. Denver is going to be a very unattractive job for any veteran HC or any OC/DC trying to become a HC. And Russell is a big reason for that

The NFC is a total crap shoot. Crazier things have happened.
This isn’t the 9ers team of 2020. Jimmy G is terrible, they’ve been hit hard with injuries, their o line is terrible etc. San Fran is sitting at 3-3 right now and is looking at 3-4 this Sunday against KC.

I’m basing it on their defensive talent (when healthy) and the fact they have some playmakers on offense (Kittle, Deebo, now CMC) and run Shanahan’s scheme very well. If Jimmy G isn’t asked to be a hero he’s a very competent game manager who can make some plays.
You don’t have to agree with me. It’s ok. We’ll find out by the end of the season.
9ers aren’t going to the SB. That is something most on here can guarantee. They just lost to the falcons last Sunday and their defense is having a hard time stopping the running game. Also Jimmy G is a turnover machine

Trent Williams and George Kittle. Deebo goes back outside and aiyuk has been playing better. It’s gonna be successful as long as their players stay healthy
Trent Williams lol I understand what your saying but you can’t depend on that guys health in the slightest. Kittle has been almost a non factor so far this season so I don’t know how much you can depend on him as of right now. Also CMC’s health is the big question mark

It's a great fit, that's for sure.
I don’t see how. San Frans o line is dog *****. Who on that line is gonna create holes for CMC to run through?
