I liked him as well, he was a gamer and a good competitor and a great locker room guy, his only downfall was and still is his arm strength and throwing bonehead INTs at the wrong times. That guarantees he won’t be in Denver next year. I would take him as a back up over Barkley to be honest. Hell I would even welcome back Fitzpatrick to be Allen’s backup over Barkley, not saying Barkley’s horrible or anything it’s just that if Allen went down I want a capable number 2 Veteran back up Barkley is more of a number 3 option.

I don’t want to sound like an a**hole, but it seems to me for all Buffalo fans that nothing is ever good enough, and you guys look for stuff to complain about , don’t get me wrong there’s been plenty to complain about for this organization, but Allen is only 23 and has played only 15-16 games as a starter. We have to let him grow and work through the growing pains, look at Cam Newton in the beginning. How long did it take for the panthers to make the playoffs when they drafted Newton and how long did it take for it to finally click for newton? Same thing with Steve Young. After a couple of years in the league Guy was listed as a draft bust out of Tampa and ends up becoming a Hall of Famer in San Francisco and becomes the man that ran Montana out of town. In a way the same thing could be said about Vinny Testaverde, you have to give these guys time To adapt and grow this team will never win if we keep playing the carousel of quarterbacks like we’ve been doing since 1999 and even when we had Doug Flutie. We can’t keep giving these guys one or two years and then throwing them on the street, i’ve watch this organization ruin many careers because of their incompetence of the quarterback position.

Look all I can say at to this is that there is ZERO chance Buffalo signs this guy since the last time he was here he wasn’t too popular with the fans and he got booed heavily. Even Kaepernick said that The Buffalo fans were mean to him. Highly doubt he would come here anyways not like we need him

But why keep drafting QBS when we already have one? That seems like a wasted draft pick to me unless it’s in the 6th to 7th round. I hear Gms say that drafting qbs high every year is good business I don’t see it that way I see it as your drafting for the sake of it and that to me is wasting draft picks. Our QB room is fine, let’s all appreciate the fact that we got Allen which behind Lamar Jackson is the best QB in last years draft. Neither Darnold, Mayfield or Rosen seem to be helping there teams especially Rosen. Statistically Rosen Darnold and Mayfield are garbage this season

Unfortunately sir I have to disagree, they road with him too long and tried to make him be like Marino and it backfired on them. Chargers we’re listed as a playoff and possible Super Bowl contender and they look completely lost and unfocused and undisciplined. Exactly like let’s sign a guy who has zero pocket presence and can’t read defenses to save his life. His TD to INT ratio has been abysmal. I’m sure he’s a good guy but that doesn’t make you a good NFL QB and he’s also been Injury prone for most of his career. Anybody who trades for this guy is trading for fools gold. Cmon the guy just got benched in favor of Ryan freaking Tannehill, let that sink in for a moment. A second overall pick in the first round gets benched in favor of a 1st round draft bust from Miami.

Nah he’s done I watched him his last year of philly and he was horrible. His knee is shot and was a one hit wonder in Miami and got figured out his second year as a starter and was noted as a locker room problem and not a team leader although that could be because him and Gase didn’t get along. And the only games he was good in were against Pittsburgh and Buffalo because Rex Ryan’s defense couldn’t stop a nose bleed.
