The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

You seem like maybe you are disappointed that in the light of a new day people are becoming aware of what USAID is about. How come? (cut and paste from earlier). -

Thanks for sharing from the 2012-2017 archives. Virtually nothing has changed since then. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻 What’s the latest on the ground in SA? USAID getting good value for their money? -

That sucks the fun right out. -
Did you miss the preceding 8 years? In summary: Trump 2016 - rube/buffoon Democrats 2016 - 2024 - impeachment, tearing up SOTU speech for the cameras, lawfare, assassination attempt (the pitch of the roof was too dangerous, remember?), calling everyone nazis. Trump 2024 - knows how it works/still a buffoon. “I’m bringing in a mad genius to identify fraud and waste” Voters 2024 - ok Trump 2025 - following up on campaign rhetoric

Your evidence of the gas station story was a 10-year-old article written by a lifetime employee of USAID. Not a word of that article addressed where the money went. Is that really what you’re hanging your hat on today? How much of the $7.9 million earmarked for Sri Lankan journalists how to avoid binary-gendered language was actually for that purpose? Shouldn’t the number of dollars earmarked for that cause actually be zero? nobody is telling you not to cheer on fraud and waste. It seems like a really weird stance to take, but have at it. At least it’s not as weird as cheering on murder.

I think it worked that way in Olympic women’s boxing too. Nothing wrong with advocating for men in women’s sports I guess. Certainly a lonely spot as we move along. Good luck.
