  1. Fascinating. Can you explain how it’s looking more likely? Do you think a winter invasion is likely or will the US wait for warmer weather?
  2. Not just redundant but overkill to a hurtful degree.
  3. As a younger person did you ever envision yourself as being a whining btch as an old man? Good lord. That’s embarrassing! I’m sad for Susan Collins’ alma mater that you find it clever.
  4. It’s good practice. We might need to call up the guard when the simultaneous Canada/Greenland invasions take place. If you were a betting man do you think the invasions would occur before or after the 26 elections are canceled? also
  5. Which news should we watch? Surely one of the networks plays it straight.
  6. Ok. Let’s see what UMich has to say about the chart you have shared via Joe Weisenthal: Consumer sentiment fell back about 5% in August, declining for the first time in four months. This deterioration largely stems from rising worries about inflation. Buying conditions for durables plunged 14%, its lowest reading in a year, on the basis of high prices. Current personal finances declined modestly amid growing concerns about purchasing power. In contrast, expected personal finances inched up a touch along with a slight firming in income expectations, which remain subdued. Overall, consumers are no longer bracing for the worst-case scenario for the economy feared in April when reciprocal tariffs were announced and then paused. However, consumers continue to expect both inflation and unemployment to deteriorate in the future. Year-ahead inflation expectations rose from 4.5% last month to 4.9% this month. This increase was seen across multiple demographic groups and all three political affiliations. Long-run inflation expectations also lifted from 3.4% in July to 3.9% in August. This month ended two consecutive months of receding inflation for short-run expectations and three straight months for long-run expectations. Still, both readings remain well below the highs seen briefly in April and May 2025. Obviously I am highlighting those things that make me think this data is not a disaster. None of it good, but FAR from a disaster. With the price of bananas and coffee, I would think we are in the midst of a disaster. The UMich report of this data was the opposite of a disaster the last two months. Let’s make sure we have our pitchforks ready for when next month’s report comes out. Just in case. The infallible angel part is just dumb. It’s the Tiberius in you coming out. Nice work.
  7. lol. All politicians suck. Some more than others.
  8. And others can’t handle the same tired, lame, uninteresting comment repeated over and over as though it’s original. You nailed it though. Hopefully we see more of your brand of insight.
  9. Hoax. Replace the word “think” with “hope” and it would come off as honest. It was a Trump driven operation. You cannot tolerate a success from him or his administration. Your entire posting history says as much. Your excitement to reference a Drudge link to Iranian state media the very night of the raid tells the story. Gross. Epstein.
  10. Thank heavens you have weighed in with this pearl. Nobody has posted anything like this. Profound!
  11. Even though you are consistently wrong about EVERYTHING, I trust you as an economist. Can you explain to me why we should trust UMich? The data below makes it seem like they are the collegiate equivalent of you.
  12. None. That won’t stop him.
  13. No wonder you are struggling to afford coffee and bananas.
  14. How else would soup get packaged for soup kitchens? Your position is not very empathetic. Fingers crossed for John Deere’s survival. I think this news from them cancels out today’s consumer sales report. Darn.
  15. But we do know how eager you are for it to fail. You started the night of by referencing Drudge, who was linking to Iranian state media. It’s a weird thing but it works for you. So be it.

  17. http://www.cigaraficionado.com/article/who-owns-the-pga-tour Sigh. Educate yourself. Hysterics are not a good look for a man your age.
  18. “Industrial production is for losers. Why can’t we be a society of thinkers, artists, and empathizers? Coffee and bananas.” -roundy
  19. I’m just going on what you are highlighting as a basis for your whining/empathizing. Did you see today’s horrible economic data? If not, look two posts above. Truly disastrous! You should have bought the dip.
  20. You seem unaware that inflation, while transitory and largely attributable to Putin’s Price Hike, was a major problem during the Brandon administration. Seems like you were able to empathize your way through it. Impressive.
  21. OH NO!!! https://stocks.apple.com/A_ce5DXF3RVWqWrC83epklA July's retail sales data, released on Friday morning, painted a still-healthy picture for the U.S. consumer. Retail sales rose 0.5% last month, meeting expectations from the Dow Jones consensus. Retail sales excluding automobiles gained 0.3%, also matching estimates. BANANAS! APPLES!!
  22. I just got up. Found some loose change in the sofa cushions and can now afford a cup of coffee and a banana. Headed to 7-11 now.
  23. If you have a preferred facility that provides coffee and bananas to those that are less fortunate, let me know and I will donate. Your whining/empathy has been centered around these two items so please do not send me to a general soup kitchen. Coffee and bananas only.
  24. Remember how eager you were to declare the operation against Iranian nuclear facilities a failure? Take heart from that. No matter which way things go you will be whining about TRUMP. Enjoy.
